If you are talking about custody then no, Abhi does not deserve Abhir unless Akshara suddenly becomes unfit to look after him or if Abhir himself decides to stay with Abhi but these two possibilities should not occur on the show as it would be quite random.

But Abhi did not abandon his child. He abandoned Akshara for sure but not his kid. I will not defend Abhi for what he did but will defend him for what he did not do.

Yes, they did ruin Parth and Manjari too for this leap I agree. Manjari wasn't a great mother before either but she was never cruel. Whatever she did used to be due to her dumbness, never intentionally malicious. Biggest character destruction was of Abhi then Manjari then Akshara.

The fact that he as a doctor couldn't muster any empathy for a miscarrying patient even after days of the event makes him emtionally unstable for the medical profession let alone the fact that he had divorce papers lying around just to give them to his miscarrying wife lol.

I dunno how every itv show has subset of ML apologists who forgive all of his sins and expect the FL to do exactly the same as well lol.

Yes everyone deserves a second chance but the survivor is not obliged to be the provider of that chance to her abuser lol.

If Akshara was the cause of Neil's death—which she wasn't— she suffered, and moved on with her second chance without torturing the 'victims' of her faults lol

Akshara was not the cause of Neil's death just like abhimanyu did not abandoned his kid. I do not belong to that subset who wishes to see abhira together they are too toxic for eo and are better off without each other.

Exactly! After everything the male lead has done, apparently 5 minutes of "realization" has redeemed him completely( although some people were of the opinion that his moping around in self pity was redemption in itself).
