I agree that Arohi deserves a reality check for her bad behavior. Yes she deserves to get rejected by Abhimanyu, scolded by her family, maybe even fired from her intern position, and to realize her sister is not her lap dog

But does she really deserve such a public and scandalous beizzati that will also send so much blowback to both families, pretty much permanently damaging their reputations and also leading to a lot of gossiping and finger-pointing at Akshara and Abhimanyu? I'm not sure she does...

so when JIJA proposes to her and dances with her means she is winning right because he started to pay attention to her 🤪

And another important point is that aarohi doesn't know that akshu loves abhi too. Akshu has never said it out to anyone. Even kairav. She's always pretended whenever she was questioned like it is just a passing attraction kind of thing. And aarohi being of the clinical mind that dr. Abhimanyu was before the love bug bit him, naturally thinks that love isn't something unchangeable. She thinks compatibility is more important for marriage and tho abhi claims to love akshu his family know aarohi is better for him so she has no qualms about accepting his proposal. That jumping jija in the box is the one at fault for proposing to her in the first place and he does it actually bcz he wanted to elicit some response from akshu. Otherwise he could easily have said to his "bade log"I will marry any girl of your choice except aarohi. And even in the functions leading up to the wedding he was being unashamedly attentive to aarohi to make akshu rise and otherwise would ignore her.

Yep, this - another thing i totally totally think should've happened to preserve the idea that Abhimanyu would never intentionally hurt Akshara. But instead we had a series of BAD WAALA JIJAJI episodes where he positively reveled in how much it pained Akshara that he was going to marry her sister

So there's some debate about whether Arohi does or doesn't know if Akshu loves Abhimanyu. I think she does if for no other reason than she saw her run into a fire to try to save him. But there's a thread somewhere today where other pretty strong points were made in support of her knowing - but just not caring (probably because of her view that Akshara is not suitable for Abhimanyu so why bother).

Or maybe Aarohi being the self- centred person she is doesn't really register other people's actions and use them to understand their feelings. She will know only when it's spelled out to her in BOLD

She had it coming for a long time

They say vengeance is a dish best served cold that's what happened karma had the last laugh.she had been torturing akshu for year's this is her reward for that.so 100% well deserved.

but then again, who in the right mind would take Baarat for the wedding when the groom himself is missing. this could been avoided easily if they had waited for abhi to show up ...they could have called Arohis family and informed them they were running later or any other bs excuse...I just don't understand Baarat without the dulha part

I am not sure

Is it better before marriage to accept for her the reality or after marriage getting divorce?

Some of the statements here are so dramatic and far-reaching. When did Abhimanyu promise Arohi ANY emotional fidelity for him to emotionally cheat on her? As far as I can remember he offered her a pseudo-contract where he clearly stated he'll marry her but NEVER love her or be a husband to her in any capacity except in name. All he offered was the deed itself--the marriage--and the Birla name. And the unsaid why was because she had saved his life. That was the motivation for the decision. The moment that why disappeared so did any commitment on his end.

Not saying he hasn't messed up enough but then which character hasn't? Whether Arohi deserves it or not is irrelevant given how she does play a part in what's happening. Literally, everyone is at fault here. From Harshvardan to Arohi to Abhimanyu, Akshara, and of course the Goenkas.

Each side, each person has an agenda they're trying to fulfill and that has resulted in the present chaos. Abhimanyu's actions are rash and irresponsible but not out of character. The dude's petrified Akshara will give into family pressure and walk away from him. He's selfish but then who isn't? Akshara, Abhimanyu, Arohi, Goenkas, Birlas literally everyone's contributed to this mess. Everyone's at fault. And so whatever consequences/disasters come their way, they all 'together' deserve their share of them one way or another.

It would be a case of “better late than never”.

I think it was too late. Even if Abhi had decided to talk it out, what would you tell the guests that had already arrived? I'd understand if this was a day or two before the wedding but this was at that time when the guests had already taken a flight to attend the wedding. Remember that lady who met Akshara at the airport saying they've arrived and will be ready soon. At least such guests will get to eat and see some drama this way. Imagine taking a flight to attend a wedding and then being told to go back home as wedding cancelled, I'd be pissed. So in my view, it was already too late.

And I personally don't like the way Arohi and Harsh manipulated the situation and forced Abhira to stay apart for their benefit. Such people do need to face karma.
