The public jilting of Arohi - POLL CLOSED

The jilting of Arohi in front of her family (and guests??) by her groom running off with her sister could not be more humiliating. But it creates a moral dilemma.

On one hand, she’s manipulated circumstances to get to this stage, knows Abhimanyu loves Akshara and vice versa but doesn’t care, and expects her sister to prioritize Arohi’s interests over her own.

On the other hand, she’s acting in good faith by showing up for this wedding as the bride (despite her exam fiasco and all). Abhimanyu has constantly (if rudely) indicated he’s acting of his own free will and wants the wedding to happen for his mother’s sake. So Arohi is behaving responsibly by holding up her end of this social pact (regardless of how or why it happened). Abhimanyu has left her standing without even the most basic courtesy of privately telling her “I’m not going to marry you - deal with it”. Instead he’s leaving her and her family (and his) to find out in the most public, most degrading, most scandalous way.

So does she really deserve this public humiliation? Or not? Cast your votes please!

Ok I said she doesn't deserve it, Ik its quite unpopular opinion but hear me out. If you don't feel the same way that's alright too we all are different ppl with different thought processes now aren't we??

Aarohi did wrong agreed, very wrong agreed that too. But who are we to judge n make decision on anyone's karma. All were at fault Abhi, Akshara, the families then why should only Aarohi take the burnt of all. Public humiliation is bad like really bad I remember in class when teachers used to insult us in front of class felt so bad. I can't imagine the embarrassment of going through it in front of all strangers. We unfortunately live in a society where girl left at alter is supposed to be at fault. Ik Aarohi has brought it on herself but still public humiliation is not a way to go it brings shame, fuels insecurity n gives birth to device revenge plans.💔

Similarly was what will happen with Aarohi, if this things would have been discussed in private with families would have been a better choice by the writers.

This. I can't believe this guy. And on the top of it, he whines like an immature teenager that he doesn't want to go back as his mom's not back yet and he doesn't want to face the elders, meh meh meh. For all the seedhi Baath, he is the most tedi hypocrite. Freaking whiny manchild. 🤢

Arohi is a brick wall, nothing would have made her understand what she did was wrong. This is the only way.

I was not happy with the bhaagke shaadi option because no matter how many kaands Aarohi did, whether it's the fire rescue lies or the exam kaand, those are not valid reasons for Abhira to do bhaagke shaadi. Instead of running away, Abhira should have gone to Goenkas home and should have talked to Aarohi and all the elderly members of both the families in private. Akshara should have told them her reasons for not accepting Abhimanyu's love earlier and Abhi too would have apologized to Aarohi because it was he who proposed to Aarohi first.

In all these, not just Aarohi but even the Goenkas and Birlas are looking like victims and Abhira irresponsible selfish youngsters who ditched everyone in the last minute.

I don't support Arohi at all but in the case,,,,I do feel sorry for her,,,whatever she did is on her conscious ..to have her sister and to be husband getting married on her wedding day - I would never wish upon that to even my enemy....she will also have a heart break - true she doesn't love abhi but she also had a dream of getting married to this dude...and have all the family members be there and getting rejected on the wedding day is such tragic..yes she had it coming but not this...

I won't opine on this..first , all those responsible for manipulations and speeding up the marriage should be taken to task. When they r even with abhira , then I can judge . Harsh is crying meri izzat ka faluda ho gaya..on Christmas he was trying to destroy the proof of fire incident bec he knew if abhimanyu sees it ,, he will cancelthe wedding

Abhimanyu Was wrong to suggest shadi but they won't go all the way ..its sad that there is not one intelligent person whom I would like to listen at this time 😆 like maheswaris had dadi ..abhi toh I find abhira to be at the bottom of the list of ppl who did wrong.

Exactly so that’s the moral dilemma that comes in this situation. Think of the worst thing that you can do in a situation. Think of the worst person you know. Would you do that thing to that person? There’s a philosophical belief that this answer defines the line that divides a good human being from a bad human being.
Yes Arohi is horrible. If her position were switched with Akshara SHE would have no problem letting Akshara be jilted publicly. But now Akshara and Abhimanyu are showing themselves to be no better than her by completely disregarding how catastrophically their actions will affect their families. I mean, will anyone want to marry Nishtha after this scandal taints their social standing?

At this point both families are not capable of proper conversation with each other. Harsh always use manjri to get to abhi as for akshara family waste of time kairav knew how akshara felt about abhi yet he never put forward a case why arohi was the wrong choice. Akshara is living in a house and those who claim to love her never sees her pain... She was in a major accident and they proceeded with arohi wedding... So if arohi gets humiliated she and her family as well as abhi family put that on themselves... Sometimes things need to fall apart for new beginnings... Abhi family had no right to proceed with the wedding when they could not find him... Harsh caused this on himself... As for arohi she was should not have gone to look for abhi... Clearly he could not go through with the marriage.... There were many things that could have prevented the humiliation but arohi motto in like arohi gets what arohi wants because she is the best and she is a topper.... And what is she going to blame akshara.... So akshara had a near death experience but her family will now support arohi and blame akshara....

My question is where is Mahima....
