Oh Mush what an OS yaar. You had me in a rollercoaster of emotions reading it. When I saw you posted an OS, it was the middle of the night and I thought let me just check it out a little to see what it’s about and I’ll read it in the morning, but as soon as I started reading it and I read the part where Akshara thinks he’ll plead with her when they meet at the Rehab hut instead he walks past her…I couldn’t put my phone down at all and continued reading till I was done. I even went back to reading a couple more times before getting back to bed.
I loved how you wrote Abhi’s indifference towards Akshu and how that hurt Akshu so much. Especially the elevator scene. My heart broke right there.
I also loved Akshu’s and Neil’s conversation and how he says they are just in the building across from hers, and how you left it for us to ponder and decide on how they might’ve gotten there.
The scenes following the elevator conversation was keeping me on my toes, till you mentioned that Akshu only suffered some burns to her arm. The way Abhi reacted at the hospital and how Neil had to keep Abhi from being part of her treatment were so well written.
One of the best parts for me was how Abhi was looking after her. It was beyond perfect. I also liked how you just slipped in the part where Abhi asks Akshu if she always slept with the light on. That was just perfect yaar. That one line implied so many things, and again you left it for us readers to decide what it implied and I thought that was brilliant.
Looking forward to reading more OS on Abhira from you.
P.S…Maybe one on Abhi’s birthday
