"Ruhi ke saathi bhi" ššš, the unbridled outrage of a devastated mother... History is repeating in YHM and how... Devil strikes back with much vigour than it did last time... Ishita is bombarded with the gruelling memories of her past, her scars are revived yet again.. Unlike in the past, the sufferings and pain is manifold, after all she is no more a daughter but a mother, infact Ishima, the Eternal Mother... This change of roles would make it extremely challenging for Ishita to handle the crisis... It was easier for Ishita Iyer to put up a facade of strong, bold woman to console her grieving mother.. She conceded defeat in the hands of fate and never fought for herself until the arrival of RaRu in her life šš...
The above statement stands vindicated when she blurts out "Mera bura saaya uss pe".. It's innate trait of a mother to take on the blame for the suffering of her progeny .. However, Ishita is reminded of her dream to nurture and cuddle her baby's baby. Alas, all her CONCEIVED dreams would eventually end up as a nightmare, this realization of sorts leaves her guilt stricken... This feeling of compunction isn't just an impulsive deliberation, perhaps it stems from the treatment meted out to her... The rigmarole of humiliation, she had to go through for her inability to conceive should have a Cascading effect on her šš
Though Raman is shaken with the turn of events but his demeanor emanates confidence, he firmly believes that infertility isn't an obstacle in the path of love... After all, he married an infertile woman who resurrected his barren soul with seeds of love šš... The one striking thing in Raman last night was his OBSESSION...He is hell bent to get his daughter married come what may..This obsession makes Raman what he is, the same was evident during the surrogacy track where he was mulish to make Ishita a mother at any cost. ( Unfortunately, it proved too expensive at the end šš ).
The reason for IshRa's divergent views on infertility could be attributed to their perception...Raman could see the light at the end of tunnel but Ishita is a victim who had to endure many hardships for her inability to conceive and being a mother, she is skeptical of her daughter's future..
"woh log Ruhi ko ACCEPT karange ", the word Acceptance still makes her cold... The only constant in her life was REJECTION.. She was rejected by Subbu, with whom she fostered a 14 year old relationship and envisioned one happy life... She was taunted as a rejectee until Ruhi accepted her... It was Ruhi who fought for the self respect of her mother, insulated Ishima from the toxicity spewed at her... That epic confrontation Ruhi had with Subbu's Mom instilled courage in Ishita to fight for her self esteem... Who will be a first child to her first child Ruhi š¤§š¤§
Finally, where she would find a Raavan Kumar for his Ruhi... A wonderfully flawed human being who loved her for what she is šš...An insolent husband who helped her to conquer insecurities by providing a shield of love.. And most importantly, a father who completed her by coronating her as a mother to their children š¤§š¤§..
Though CVs made travesty of infertility but it would have been intriguing to see how IshRa would have handled the biggest crisis of their lives as parents... Earlier, they fought infertility as a couple and did make some mistakes, which they could afford by virtue of their love... However, as parents their margin of error is small and there would be many more stakeholders to deal with...
The episode was sort of okay but the intensity was lacking because of BDs š¤š¤š¤...I longed to see the reaction of Raavan Kumar when her Jhansi ki Rani calls herself bura saaye but it was way off...
