Zoya...one of the very few positive people in this forum...and when u bring in that much needed positivity, u do it with such poignance...
I am one of the members who is able to relate to both Raman n Ishita in this track...Yesterday that one line from Raman led to such a big hue n cry...But for me the very fact that it was said to none other than Mani, definitely have some future implications...
Anyways once again sharing my happiness with u for the positivity...

he vl nt say ruhi to cal her ishima..
rather wud nt hv been sitting beside her too..

Its good to see the silver lining but the fact is Raman just made one call to Ruhi and gave up! He was just waiting for what? Pihu took Mani to Ruhi and got her to meet Ishita. Raman should have gone to Ruhi and tried to convince her like he used to fall at Shagun's feet for his kids and even Ishita earlier... so the drive is not there. It also seemed like he wished her to die but when Ruhi was likely to be alive he sudennly started mumma papa thingy even though he had just come from his marriage to Shagun...

So obviously now that Ruhi is there even as a human thing to do, he will request her to call her Ishima...

So it's ramans fault that pihu took mani to meet ruhi and get her there.😕?...isn't it evident cvs want to have pihu play a role in uniting ruhi with ishra..plus pihu reacted the way she did because she saw her papa upset. .upset not just because ruhi rejected them but also in pain looking at ishita in pain... that's how I see that scene. .they could have easily had pihu take raman to ruhi and convince ruhi didi...but no..they had mani do it...

And as a human thing to do...making ruhi call ishita .ishima...why even bother..if he can't care less about ishita. .there are other ppl., he could have led mani or baLA coax ruhi...

No and I am not searching for a silver lining..in yest epi i genuinely felt raman behaved numb and heartbroken. .heck ruhi had just rejected him and ishita both.. what was he supposed to b think when she didn't pick his call..no its not that he gave up..he was just as hurt and upset as ishita to think of what to do next. .
It made sense for the more 'not emotionally vested' people like mani and pihu to play a role. .

Just my pov. .and no its not cos I blindly support everything that raman does. , I had huge issues with the marriage gimmick. ..but no yest raman was just human..not the emotionless monster he is being made out to be...

Viewers will purely go by what cvs want and not by their earlier perception of Raman. So whatever they are showing they are killing Raman's character. Him sitting at the mandap, him just waiting after a call to Ruhi! So did Raman know Pihu was going to get Ruhi? Why will Mani and Bala coax Ruhi? They barely know her. He has seen what state Ishita is in and that is purely coz of Ruhi, so if he did not do the bare minimum of coaxing her to call her Ishima, Raman would not even be as useful as Ahembhai of SNS. I am just pissed off with the Cvs too. As yet he has not owned up to his guilt, the fact remains he drove her to suicide; that is what they have shown us... we can keep analyzing and wish away certain scenes, thats the only way we can justify Raman and even Ishra...it is just the beautiful cast and their acting that is worth watching and just keep blinders on and watch lollipops...

And it reinforces the fact that during a crisis Raman is the most helpless fellow and he just sits and watches just like he did during the child swap which led to Ruhi's kidnap and now when Ishita is nearly dying, so maybe we can say he is in character...

I don't have much time today but would like to add my two cents here briefly.

Raman has been in denial all this time. That wasn't about to change simply because of a single conversation wherein Romi blamed him and called him out on his part in this mess - showing Raman a mirror wherein he projected that Raman isn't the victim he is making himself out to be - someone who was a collateral damage in the mess that was created seven years back as he paints himself to be, rather that is his child - and he in fact has been the one who played an instrumental role - that of the creator here.

If you have to accept, You have ruined your child's life even though involuntarily. Would it be like a cakewalk?

When it comes to parenting, There's a thing a pattern if I may. Fathers are around when the child has accomplished something. They want to puff their chests and declare my child, mybaby, my upbringing but the moment something goes wrong the mother is blamed.

Mothers may not be given credit, but the onus of screwup is on the mother. So here it is happening too. Because this isn't a simple thing, it's not like Ruhi has done something incredibly stupid in a teen rebellion, this is something so huge that has happened with Ruhi.

It is basic human trait, no one would step forward to say I goofed up I'm a screw up. And it happens with even simple things like forgetting about getting the said item on a shopping list.

To put it simply, I would paraphrase,

"The human mind isn't a terribly logical or consistent place. Most people, given the choice to face a hideous or terrifying truth or to conveniently avoid it, choose the convenience and peace of normality. That doesn't make them strong or weak people, or good or bad people. It just makes them people."

So when ishita was getting hanged , raman sat and v watched? ..like most others? I thought he was tjhe only one who ran pillar to post to save her..so that was 'out of character' ..if raman sitting numb yest was out of character then ishita fainting and almost paralyzed was also out off character. .she is tjhe one who is sane and acts even in tune toughest of situations doesn't she. ..if we say that was because she was in shock.. can't raman be too?.

As for raman being all angst and no action. .I guess cvs are going to make ishra 'work' together to get ruhi back. .
So when he acts,.trying to coax ruhi to call ishita..ishima..it's just something any human would do...that's not action..? I honestly can't look at everything with a myopic lens...😕

Yup ...i have loads of issues with cvs too... and raman not yet owning up is true...and I am sure he will at some point later..that's why all the editing and backtracking last week..
.but if he did won't it end tjhe track. . What's left to show. ?..plus cvs have had loads of bad days.. why not hand it to them when they give us a decent epi..?

The most important facts are still that Raman has not taken any responsibility for his wrong in both Ruhi's kidnapping or ishita's suicide. Yesterday what I saw was Raman shocked because both Ruhi & Romi blamed him also for what happened. Raman is numb because Ruhi holds both him and Ishita responsible for her plight. He thought like him Ruhi will only explode on Ishita.

He is not what he has become. The change in core concept of the show has made him powerless, a beast to be precise.
