All I can add is I'm still watching this show only for Ishraru n the rest of the cast. Sorry to say this but some of the new actors are only bringing the level down I feel 😕 Sorry I do not mean to hurt anyone but I feel by focusing so much on them they'd rather focus on the char who are really good. So many impending tracks then why introduce new ones?
Anyways I hope they get to see what we think. 😛

Beautiful post that outlines loyal viewers feelings! I too have watched this show since day 1 and it has become part of my daily routine..I have tried to remain positive with the time change but unfortunately the drastic change in characters and the essence of the show I fell in love with leaves me heartbroken.

However, I am still keeping the faith that the CVs can resurrect this show to what it was (maybe not completely but salvage it somehow and bring some of its former glory back) As you said there are so many issues /tracks close to reality that can be shown.

The ensemble cast and Divan as the soul of IshRa keeps me hooked.

Thanks for making this post. You did bring out all the question we loyal viewers have who started watching it for the different concept they showed in the beginning deviating from normal soaps but now I can't tell any difference between YHM and other soaps.

I agree to everything you just said.. It's very annoying that every track is started as a promising one but at the end of it all it never concludes with something nice. Lately every track is meaninglessly being dragged

More than any of that I find the fact that Ishita is made to be the almighty in every track .. I don't mind that she's a wonderful person and almost always right. But why can't there be a balance. Why can't Raman be as involved in everything she does. Why is she the only one who finds out clues to issues, solves them all? Is Raman even needed in this show? Or is he just a prop, whose meant for Ishita to romance and have issues with so that she can be shown as the bechari?

Don't take me wrong. I love her. But I appreciated and loved the realism attached to both the characters as much. Ishita and Raman were both so real to life. I am and was a fan of the both equally. But now they've taken each of them to different extremes and the balance is finished. I am so annoyed with how everything is going. Even the track right now started so well but now it's just gone down to the pit like others if not as badly.

And I agree, the end to the Mani track, Raman wanting to go to Singapore track, Ruhi feeling abandoned track, Adi reformation, all have been messed to an extent that I cannot gauge.

And plus even the side/supporting characters and their stories have been played with.

But the end result of everything is just nada. Nothing ever turned out justified eventually

Loved the description.. Though I love Raman s one liners sum topics can be dealt more nicely since ..YHM has a more mature audience.. One thing I loved I. Yesterday s episode Raman asking Ishita ..is she ready for physical intimacy it must be first time in Hindi serial's.. Kudos..

Aani - great write up!

What's so sad is the show didn't have to fall this far. Almost everything they wanted to present made sense and was so promising...but somewhere something was lost.

So I think disappointment is even an understatement because this show was botched when it easily could have been avoided.

We still watch out of loyalty, habit, hope, the few moments of beauty, or because of the acting...but the story is sadly lost.

If only they had as much respect for their product as we did, but I guess artistic fulfillment holds nothing against TRPs, which appear to be driven by cheap thrills and lack of emotional depth. 🤔
