I've called you out on your PR game before...and I'm doing it again now...you need to up your PR game. A good PR team is important, but not necessary if you have your game on lock (case in point: Angelina Jolie), besides they can be expensive...but it's a huge part of my job..so here's some free advice:

Find out, and then stick to that shit like glue...unless it comes time for a re-branding...then go slow and steady, I'm talking 2-3 years (Case in point: Matthew McConaughey)...don't go offbrand because it confuses us normal peeps, and it again feeds the trolls.

3. Control your message-Control your brand.

Social media is great for this...but you need to use it properly. Use it to promote your work, your causes...and to control your brand...again what do you want us to think about when we think about you.

Right now, for me, a random Canadian chick sitting here miles away, watching my second Indian show, ever...who comes on to the forum occasionally to see what spoilers are coming up and to talk with people who actually watch the show (none of my friends in real life do so this forum is great for that)...for me, your message so far has been wholesome-do-gooder/good actress (primary message) who can kill it on screen and who has awesome chemistry with her co-star, but who is susceptible to trolls(secondary message-underlying details) ...and I only follow you on Instagram and read articles/videos if they're posted here otherwise I'm sort of disconnected for the Indian media scene...

Control your message.

You're doing a great job on YHM, you're killing it as Ishita...but you just tweak your PR game a little bit and then you'll kill it off screen too😊.


P.S. A great example of someone who has her PR game on lock , and uses social media really well to control her message is your lovely co star, Anita Hassanandani. I follow her on Instagram as well...she has her game on lock.

Her Brand? Happily married actress/fashionista/fun loving...she even got me googling BCL cuz of her brilliant Chandigarh Cubs promos...👏slow clap...brilliantly executed.

And her hairstyle pics/vids are awesomeness!

What she does need to do is up her PR game starting with a simple but effective social media startegy of ignoring the trolls.

Why? Because she is a professional woman...she's on a very popular show watched by all sorts of people around the world...and her Social Media presence of late has been full of blunders of an amateur or an annoyed teenager.

Yes, she is a human being...nobody is disputing that.

-I replied to your comment in this discussion because it's a fan forum and I started this topic. I have replied to pretty much everyone, either by liking their comment or by responding. It shows respect in a discussion. If I had posted this on my twitter, I wouldn't, but for the sake of argument if I had, then I wouldn't have responded to you. Why because twitter allows only so many words and I'm long winded. And because Sunny303 isn't my real name...and once again this is a fan forum not my professional social media page.

Also, if you've read all my comments on here you would see that I've stayed on brand (that's the very important take away from post that I hope you take as well).

-Yes, she is a celeb and yes of course she should act like a normal human being...in private. On her social media sites she should engage her audience as a professional and she should stay on brand. Her career choice has made her a public figure, and her choice to engage her fans through social media has cemented her brand made her susceptible to trolls...she needs to come to terms with these two choices and the. Work out her startegy. Why? As I said before she's a professional woman...it's kind of her job.

-she's an actress, a pretty good one at that, so no, she can't be robotic...I went back through my posts and I didn't ever say she should. When you go to work you bring your professional face forward, you don't act the way you do with family and friends in front of your boss, your clients or colleagues...that doesn't make you a robot it's called being professional.

-No, she doesn't have to restrict herself from speaking, but she should check her message...going back to the question-what is your brand?
But yes she should pay attention to what she says online, we all should, because what you put on the internet stays there...forever! That's pretty serious shit if you ask me. People may forget, but the internet never will.
