I was waiting for your post today, Dr.Po & I am so so so glad that you did upon instence of a fellow member!!! I dont have words to commend your post- flawless!!! What an analogy of windows & walls & how apt!!!! You put it to brilliant use drawing parallels to Ishra's life!! I also loved what you said "they are reaping jealousy because they never sowed communication"!!! Simply brilliant!!!

Still sleeepng .. Just woke up to chk if us posted and res 😊Editedwow! I'm so glad you got over the unnecessary stuff and wrote about the diamond that you always find in the episode.. That's why I requested you to write ... A lot of things technically went wrong yesterday... But the core of it was not wrong and that needed celebration ... Acknowledgement from someone like you who I know always gets the beauty of the relationship and can express so beautifully ... Because the strength of this story is the relationship of Ishita and raman and till that is not compromised ... I can live ( and occasionally rant 😆) with the CV s creative liberties .I'm so glad you wrote.. I loved every bit of it so will not quote the parts that I call magical hue...as every word has a touch of that today...I cannot express as well as I would love to about the episode and then I chanced upon your writing here one day... It resonated so much with what my heart felt, I've been a fan of yours Doc since that day... I love to read lovely thoughts ... And yours never fail to make me stop, ponder and reflect upon what you wrote... That's what I love about your writingHope I made sense... To groggy to write coherently .. But you get me.and I know will not judge me if it is not 😉It's 5 am here and I'm lying in bed with my iPad to respond.. Hoping not to wake my Raman up😆.Thank you darling for doing this for me.. 🤗
Thank you for such a beautiful and thought provoking post. I'm usually a silent member, because I don't usually get the time to sit down and write down my thoughts regarding this amazing show, its characters and the equations these characters share with each other.
Since the entry of Mani in the show, I have seen a lot of turmoil on the forum and to some extent I can understand why, but my perspective regarding this track is a bit different from most people, which is why I absolutely love this post of yours, because its quite close to what my perspective is regarding the current track. Lets keep aside the treatment of this track on one side for the moment, because like you said in the post, the treatment is not what's important, its the intention.
When Ishita and Raman got married, their priority was 'Ruhi', it didn't matter if they had anything in common or they trusted each other or not, they had tied themselves to each other for Ruhi's sake.Their relationship to each other was that they were Ruhi's Ishima and Papa. That was the first phase of their relationship/equation.
The next phase or turning point of their relationship was after Amma's accident track was introduced, the forum was in a lot of turmoil then too, because that track was all about 'Adi'. But in the end that track helped in making both Raman and Ishita realize, that they at least need to talk and communicate where their kids are concerned, so they became friends, for their kids sake, which is when their relationship turned from being just Ishima and Papa, to becoming Ruhi's parents.
And now this track, where Mani has been introduced, is to make Raman and Ishita realize, not just about their feelings for each other, it is more about them realizing how important it is for them to communicate with each other as couple, because they are not just Ruhi's parents anymore. They want to be more, they want to be husband & wife, they want to have real marriage, but you can't have a real marriage, unless and until you talk and share your fears and insecurities. Its like them wanting to immerse themselves in the rain, without getting wet. It is not possible. The reason why I have brought up this example of rain, because it reminds of a scene and conversation during the accident track, where Ishita is sitting on her couch in their room and she opens the window to feel the droplets of rain on her face, and soon Raman joins her and they talk about about the rain and its importance in their lives and both vow to themselves that someday soon they will tell the other what is in their heart, that they would wait for that day, for that rain of emotions and trust to happen in their lives. This track would make that day come sooner then later, where they will pour their heart out to each other and learn how to communicate, to trust and to let go of their past once and for all.
Hey beautiful post 😳
Ya no matter how pathetic this track is at least Raman is fighting with his share of insecurities which is good. N also u have beautifully explained how both have walls or hiding their true self in front of each other.
Now only thing that needs to be seen is if he wud wall himself up against Ishita or open windows so that ray of sunshine (hope) will fill their Marriage with Light (love) after this track.
As far as Ishita goes she needs to open up the windows of her Brain 😛 Just kidding. She was honest when yesterday she said to Mani "I dont understand Raman". This is crux of this matter n both r equally responsible atleast Ishita knows the problem hopefully she will try n find solution for this problem in her marriage. N by that I dont mean only she needs to work, even Raman needs to work on it. 😊

First of all I am so glad you posted, a voice like yours full of reason needs to be heard often. I do not call your post a voice of reason because I agree with your thoughts, I called it voice of reason because it's well thought out post. I couldn't agree with you more, every hurdle that this couple has been through has exposed their weakness but what's heartening to see is that they make that weakness into their strength. They didn't communicate before but after Adi's accident case they became friends and there was no stopping this friendship. Always there for each other being each others support as true friends would. She stood by him during the simi-param fiasco, she stood by him during the presidentship drama and he stood by her when she lost her dental license. All because they communicated as friends like they had promised post the Adi case.@bold: Such beautiful analogy, you can't dance in the rain without getting wet! How poetic and beautiful. I am waiting for the day that these two just pour their hearts out, like you said that rain of emotions and trust will make them wet sooner than later. I am hopeful that this track will bring much needed closeness between this couple as a husband and wife.Thank you once again for posting and please always feel free to post on my topics even if we don't agree, it's always a pleasure to read a well thought out and reasoned post like yours.
Thank you so much for appreciating my post, honestly speaking its been a while since I have taken out time to post, but your post made me want to write down my thoughts !!
I had actually wrote down the previous post in a limited time, so I couldn't really do justice to the rain scene I had mentioned earlier, which is actually very apt for the situation Raman and Ishita are at this point ad they desperately need that rain to make sure their their love and relationship blooms. Because I remember the dialogues of the scene now, where Ishita says, 'Some people doesn't like it when it rains, but they don't realize, just how much dust surrounds them, and when it rains, it clears away all the dust, making everything in the surrounding clean and clear. Hopefully Mani's presence in their lives will be that dust, which will clear their doubts, fears and insecurities soon. I just hope this misunderstanding is not dragged beyond endurance by the CV's. Because if anything is stretched too much, it eventually snaps, and in my opinion, if this misunderstanding is dragged, it will hamper Ishra's relationship more then it will help.
