Raman will not become a Mani.. he will just bring back the Happy Bhalla in him mixed with Raavan Kumar. That is all.

Hating Mani to this extent is in my opinion, insane. Doesn't make sense to bash a character who is helping the leads come closer and better yet helping Raman realize Ishu's worth in his life.

Honestly I didn't even see this much hate for Param, and he was a damn rapist.

Mani, in my opinion isn't doing anything with ill intentions. He is not like shagun who purposely hurts ishita in an attempt assert her position in raman's life.

any outsider, such as mani will look at ishra's relationship and call it dysfunctional and that is most likely where mani is coming from. if he knew that raman subconsciously loves ishita then he would back off. he knows the circumstances under which both got married, so he is making assumptions right and mani has so far, seen nothing to believe that raman treats ishita well. Yes he rushed her to the hospital but I guest he sees a disconnect between them and therefore, assuming that they have a lifeless marriage(which, to a certain extent, they do.)

That's the thing, he saw how much he cares, but then he has conflicting views thanks to Ashok, and Romi's (rightful outburst). He is trying to figure out their equation, mostly because he doesn't want his friend to be hurt. He might love her, but that's on one side, he cares for her as a friend and knows that she will never leave Ruhi even if that means she has to put up with Raman for it. I think Mani is like the defibrillator in IshRa's wedded life. I think this will all turn out well.

I was just expecting better scenes when ishita woke up, Raman caring for her etc but what we get is a Ishita-Mani scene :(. Thats all that has bothered me.

Secondly forget Mani, people are blaming Ishita don't understand the reason why. What has she done wrong, I know she keeps doing Mani Mani but I never found anything wrong in the on-location video. Only thing which annoyed me was instead of getting an Ishra scene we got a Mani-Ishita scene.
Though I am still going to wait for the actual next few days to see what happens.

I actually think, Raman's reaction at that point was in character. He is still disturbed, he is mad at himself, and Ishita is his natural scapegoat. He won't get it so quickly, Rome wasn't built in a day. I would have liked them to realize on their own, but my god after that rain dance, if they didn't develop feelings, then it was never hurting.

Exactly, and tbh it felt more like a ruhita scene, Mani is just there, to screw around with Raman. Even if Ishita is going gaga over Mani, what's wrong with it. She isn't in love with him, she's just happy for the attention she lacked.

But I wish they flushed the character out a bit and my hope is that the rest of the characters, Ishita and Raman in particular, stay true to their characters...I hate when the writers change their innate nature to fit a situation and don't let the characters respond organically.

Other then that I for one am loving jealous Raman! And truly Mani ain't an issue for me:)))

I actually feel that they have all gone back to their original characters from what they had turned into at the 7:30 time slot. Raman would react this way, he is confused and mad at himself, and of course he would take it on Ishita, he yells at everyone, its him. That's why mani is there, to teach him some tact.

they are annoyed with her because ishita never said anything when mani reprimanded raman.

Thanks Garima! I haven't been saying much, but I saw the outbreak on the recent on location video, and I was utterly confused. Then after posting this I surfed the forum and found a lot more of it. People are saying how Raman should have realized ishita's value on his own, without mani. But how much more does Ishita have to do for him to value her? How much more obvious does she need to be, and how much more can she deal with his indifference. Lets be honest, a guy like Raman needed a blast from the past. And by that I mean both Ishu's past, and a mirror from his own that would make him insecure. I trust the creatives, they haven't screwed up too badly just yet.😆

Indeed Reina, I was highly shocked and disturbed seeing all those comments on that thread! 😕 But I'm glad there are people like us who trust the creatives and still have faith in them to tell their story like it is! And I completely agree, Raman did need a dose from the past.. and I'm glad they are approaching Ishu's past like this cuz we have already scene and dealt with a lot of Raman's past! Raman will only come out stronger after this whole situation! :)

In all honestly I had started simply reading written updates for that entire track and was very close to leaving the show altogether, but I love Divyanka and Karan and wanted to hold on. The story picked up again from there which was nice.
But painting a guy as perfect to a guy who's ex-wife left him for someone better than he was doesn't seem like the right way to go about this.
I honestly think Ishu doesn't even realize what she's been doing in terms of talking about Mani. She was just saying her feelings honestly to Raman and he got jealous. It may have become excessive after a point though.

The thing is, Ishita is constantly reminded similarly that Shagun has children and can have them again, and she cannot, the reason why SHE was left behind. If she can have the insecurity hanging over her head every few weeks, then I think Raman can deal with this for a short time, for the better.

Also I love your name :) Yup my name is Reina. LOL I feel the same way here as well, its weird, but I suppose that's what you get from online chatting.

My reason to dislike Mani, I don't watch YHM for Mani. I watch it to see Ishita and Raman, so when I suddenly see Mani everywhere it annoys me. Also I don't like how in an attempt to show contrast between mani and Raman, Raman is bring shown like a silly guy. This is definitely not the Raman I fell in love with, this is not the Ishita that I fell in love with. So yeah it annoys me. I would have loved to see Raman realize Ishira's worth because of Ishita and not because of Mani. I would have loved to see Ishra come closer to each other because of themselves not because of a third person. So there lies my unhappiness with the track and a new character with not much logic behind him.

But, haven't IshRa always come together by the help of a third Party. Be it Ruhi, Adi, Shagun and even Param. People seemed to love Param despite him being a despotic cheapskate, because he brought IshRa together. As for him realizing his 'love' and her 'value'. She has done SO MUCH for him and his family, but its always the same old. She has been so obvious, but he is still indifferent. There was no way they would have been able to realize without an other, it has always taken a catalyst for them. If we can handle Ishita being constantly insecure of the dangerous Shagun reminding her that she can have kids, and Ishita cannot, then we can deal with a perfect guy giving Raman a much needed wake up call.
