I find it strange that the "fair and reasonable and compassionate" Ishita has NEVER said to Raman or to Mihika or Vandu

"HOW COULD SHAGUN SLEEP WITH ASHOK WHILE MARRIED TO RAMAN? HOW COULD SHAGUN ABANDON HER BABY? HOW COULD SHAGUN BREAK THE SANCTITY OF VOWS?"

I hear her say all the time: Mujhe SHAGUN KA SOCHKAR BURA LAGTA HAI"

WHY?

Did you ever think how your husband must have felt when she was s----- Ashok while married to him?

She convinces Mihika that Shagun did the right thing by abandoning Raman (on the bench)

I find her concern for Shagun disingenuous to put it mildly, and horrifying to put it strongly

It wont shock me at all if they show her tying a rakhi on Mani's wrist tomorrow...

Yes she was excited

But now she has been meeting him regularly for 3-5 days

But she is still excited and ott

For first time I agree she was over excited

But now she still is gushing over him

It was kinda sad actually, you dont need to have a spiral bound script like they do in Hollywood, but atleast the lead guy should talk sensibly about the kind of business his character owns?

Kindly refrain from discussing actors and their opinions when the topic is on characters .

When they have the luxury of 20 episodes in a year ONLY . believe u me all indian telly shows will show logic will show depth in thot & will show fleshed out perfect characterisations .. theres enuf talent for that ..

I am a great fan of a series called HOMELAND ... the show really has a very real to life look .. but at the end of the day .. wheres the logic .. there just seems to be ONE CIA OFFICER . CARRIE MATHISON .. who is capable of solving every US problem with middle east ..

Thats why it is called story telling if it was REAL . it would be a DOCUMENTARY ...

The only iteration is Ishita ..
as u said .. we really don't know how Ishita was when she was in school & how she was with manI or for that matter Subbu .. how she behaves now .. how can that be inconsistent .. i would say the writer is adding another dimension to the character .. this girl can also let go .. & not always be a "BAHENJI" in thot .. but was once young & youthful ..

About your facts... I dont think I dispute them at all. When we sign up to watch something thats telecasted 6 out of 7 days a week, we all have established expectations. But debating about it on IF is half the fun!

Thats why I used the word tolerance level in my first reply to Leo. The amount of 'illogic' and inconsistency that one can take varies from person to person, and it's heavily dependent on that person's expectations.

My level of disappointment changes with the expectation I have. I didnt care about Suraj, I didnt care about Sanjana. I dont even remember Poornima's face.

But with Mani, I did expect something. I expected a subtle reference to Raman-Shagun-Ashok... and how that could bring Ishita and Raman closer. I did not expect what people now refer to as 'Mani Jaap'.

On a lighter note , I love Person Of Interest. an AI machine monitors and controls every movement of humans and predicts stuff. So don't talk to me about expecting logic 😆

Basic trait of character change with the change in track. First it used be with raman and toshiji now ishita turn. In show only shagun ashok param and Neelu are constant. They are same from day 1.

Fans arr asking growth in ishita character that doenst mean cv brought any kind of story. In real life we tried made mistake and learned from and we have out growth. That's called actual growth. If we go by raman character he is not constant but his growth has shown in good way. He is like us normal human who made mistake accept it and learned from iT and that's how his character grow either his present life or past life.

Ishita character cv are trying to show her perfect who never made mistake. Problem is in her character that she is not making mistake even if she is doing any mistake she is not accepting and if anyone pointed out her mistake for the sake of she said sorry and sometime don't even say sorry. Bringing param and shagun at home even without consulting anyone. Mr. Bhalla and Mrs. Bhalla arr still head of bhalla house.

As a viewer I am not asking for perfect and always right female lead. Let her do mistake let her accept it and let her grow.

About Subbu writer always said that she has moved on from subbu and they are making clear from mani constant subbu reminder. She has moved on from subbu but not fear of rejection and her infertility. Same goes with raman.

Ishita mani

Seriously I really can't understand their friendship and why on the earth he is taking again and again subbu name when he knew how much she was hurt thanks to him and now she is married. I am saying this from my personal experience because no good friend do this kind of act.

As lucky said only to give way to this character they are playing with other character raman ishita and romi. They are just making him superior infront of others.

Their constant chant of each other and specially ishita was praising him even at midnight infront of her husband that's really uncalled. Only to show how mani is helpful they showed that others were just sitting on sofa and having chat and aren't they same people who help her in navratri preparation.

Raman should get his brain back and stop comparing himself with him and try to prove anything. He has his own place in their life. If they don't respect it than better let go instead of making force place which won't stay long.

It's ishra ruhi story first. Ruhi is busy with fighting with shravan and ishra are getting fit in others track.

This jealousy track is for 2-3 days was ok but it's getting drag. As u said in my topic. New viewer surely get that idea

I just want to say I want human ishita and raman not mahan and always right ishita.

As for Mani - I believe he brings out good memories in her life. He brings out the fun she had with him when she was young. It happens. I have some friends when they come in my life after so long, I start behaving like a child with them. I believe it's human nature (though sometime her doing Mani jhap gets irritating when I look at it from Raman's point of view. I am partial to Raman)

I shall try my best to comment on matter; but won't take clear stand of agreeing or disagreeing with you or anyone else 😆

Are characters at times in consistence, they sure are !! I don't care abt others just Raman & Ishita !! I find inconsistency when it comes to their relationship and it sure annoys me !!

Now talking abt both as individual characters; you have to be careful. In real life we may know a person as one dominant characteristic. But in reality people have many layers. We all behave differently with our friends, our cousins, older cousins, colleagues, parents, in-laws and then spouse !! I am not married so can't say abt spouse part so will stay away.

So if Ishita ll of sudden appears behaving like teenager when interacting with Mani, it makes sense to me. There are some friends you pick up where you had left with. So last time you saw best friend in college, after 10 years you will start from there depending on friendship.

Another issue of what Raman-Ishita feel or say abt each other and making list of who did what. They both know what they have done for each other and also know both care abt each other. But here's the thing, their expectations from each other are rising. Both deep down know they have more than care but at this time not willing to accept it fully ! But expectation is very real and important part of marriage. In this phase both wud also compare thier spouse to someone else, again very normal thing. Now just because they are comparing doesn't mean they don't care abt their relationship or insulting other party. This comparison comes from lack of somewhat satisfaction which again comes from rising expectation. If both are fully satisfied then it wud be boring for tv ! This lack of satisfaction is what makes both going and yearning for more. My parents have been married 30 years but even today when ma is ging for event she asks papa how do I look ! Those who are married with kids wud say spouses feel other spends more time with their kids compared to them. Yes they wud be jealous of their own kids 😆 all that is normal and says it is REAL marriage.

Raman-Ishita wud fight and have disagreement where they wud not have that with their friends. Why because their is clearly different level of expectations !!

I am not saying CVs are doing perfect job, no they are not. Sure some things need to tone few things down in Raman, Ishita and Mani ! But then it's Indian daily soap so I'll keep my expectations low 😆 But I have yo give it to makers they have done good job for most part !! But taking care of few things wud sure take things to another level in good way !!
