I felt the smile was more for him. A realization that he has and is ready to take the next step in the relationship and she heard him saying that he has gotten rid of the burden of his past. She is also cleared of any misconceptions that she had esp when she ranted In jealousy

So there is no reason for either of them to hold back the wsy he had stepped back from almost kissing her

Also I think he has realized she is in love with him

I am a new member on this forum, to be precise I was a silent member but now I am trying to be active for the sheer brilliance of this show. Anyways @swathibalan introduced me to your posts and brilliant analysis. I concur with her that your analysis of the show is brilliant, I bet even the CVs wouldn't have analyzed their characters and their show as brilliantly as you have.

Thanks Swathi!!! And your response to this post is awesome! you girls rock!!! I am studying for my boards so I won't have too much time to join your fabulous discussions but rest be assured as soon as I am done with my exam I will be here in full force writing essays about this brilliant show!
