My post has probably covered every nuance in the episode but 2 ...

One was the curse word that Raman utters when he hears how Shagunn had manipulated Ishita

& the other is the smile that Raman gave after he finished hugging Mihir when he first caught a glimpse of ISHITA ...

I never cover every aspect of an episode in my post ..hoping someone notices it & would bring it up .. Hugs to u for pointing out the BIG moment @ BOLD RED ...

yes he was concerned about his brother .. & how his brothers life was getting ruined by simply being a slave to his past .. exactly like he had been a slave to his past ..

BUT BUT BUT .. in all this there was a BIG CONCERN for his WIFE .. ISHITA RAMAN BHALLA

he says the words .. if she is happy she will leave us alone .. if she is not happy she will constantly interfere in their life ... & see how she had interfered .. his absolutely pure gullible wife had become a victim of Shagun's diabolic plot ...

So the most important underlying message of the entire MIHIR RAMAN CONVO is .. RAMAN's CARE FOR HIS WIFE ... ISHITA ...

Now i urge all to go back & view that scene with this lens .. the care of a husband .. the protection of a husband .. the promise of a husband ...

In a way ... RAMAN sat for a puja with his wife .. a puja across the sacred fire .. then he stood up to protect her .. DID HE BY ANY CHANCE ... deliver on the SAATH VACHAN ...

Think about this ... this was Raman delivering in spades on the marital promise ...

For rich or for Poor

In sickness & in health

Forsaking all others

Till death do us apart ...

Now look at the puja scene .. Ishita places her palm below Raman's palm but leaves a gap .. a gap which Raman closes .. by cupping her palm from below .. holding the hand & linking it to his ...

This is the genius of the writer of the show ..

On the smile .. i still have hopes someone interprets that smile .. it was a very big moment in the romance that is YHM 😉

Was surfing this thread thanks everyone who has mentioned and appreciated my post ... I am amazed people do read the length of my ramblings 😆 and Swathi no issues Bhanu made the best post hands down.

Oh I completely forgot Ruby did you see the E24 or any other segs Ishu- Adi coming up 😛 ... and I know you have been awaiting this thing for long now

Was reading about the smile and I think that and two more things - he mentions pichli zindagi - a past life when he mentions nothing can change the fact that Shagun will always remain the mother of his children and if she earns a bad rep it would affect his kids..and asks Mihir to look at him as he speaks, cos only then he would see Raman isn't merely saying those words he means them when his eyes too reflect the same thing.

The smile and the words - nothing could have spelled out he considers that part of his life a closed chapter - a different life altogether from the one he has right now with Ishita - a new one, a different one - one where he is actually happy - happily married at that - as he had mentioned when Ishita scared the daylights out of him faking amnesia.

He wants to shed every last bit of his former life and hence wants Shagun to have a closure too, hence his words if she gets her happiness we would be at peace... cos he wants a life without her interruptions - where he is with Ishita and his family... somehow he has also made peace with the possibility that Adi would never return to him... but now that doesn't haunt him like it did previously.

His smile on seeing Ishita was such a spontaneous and real thing - cos this talk killed two birds with one stone - he knew what happened in the tilak was because somewhere Ishita doesn't trust him enough, where she was ready to believe those lies - now the truth regarding all matters is out in the open but what is more important is Ishita KNOWS he HAS moved on - he isn't stuck up in his past anymore...he has let Shagun go on all accounts.

So the smile was for those two things - now Ishita knows where he stands and yeah... the fact that it was she who had guided him onto this path with her gentle persistence, her support and care - and he acknowledged she had been right which is why he was doing what she did that day at the bench. Life coming a full circle indeed. He knew she is proud of him and that...that got him to smile too.

@BOLD: Couldn't have given a better description to it ... I think our eyes are a mirror of our soul, there when Raman asks Mihir to look into his eyes ... he bares his soul in front of him and lets him know that Raman has actually moved on ... he has finally found peace and wants the same for his kid brother.

Killing two birds with one stone .. BRAVO ... a smile .. no words are needed when gestures are a give away.
All this happened because his wife could not trust him ... she still had one last bit of apprehension that may be ... just may be she can never be what Shagun is ... but .. this conversation clears all the doubts, all the veils are removed ...and Ishita is able to look at the clear picture for the first time ...

Maze aa gaye padke 😳.

Yea i know Adi will be introduced into the story full fledged now .. according to me this will be the best track of YHM .. the ADI track ... its end shud be a shocker ... i sincerely hope they stick to the shocker they plan to give & don't go in for cliches .. it will be the make or break of YHM 😳

Act II starts from today
