Late in the evening she woke up.raman was by her side within seconds.she didnt even notice his presence until she felt a hand checking her forehead to see if she hav any temperature.she wasnt immune to his touch she moved back quickly as she felt his touch nd shiver went down her spine
"Main thik hoon" croaked ishita
He gave her a glass of water she silently accepted it without any fuss as her throat felt like sand paper was rubbed against
He went out .toshiji came to ishita
"Ishita puttar thik hai na ? Mata rani meri bacchi ki raksha karey pata nahi saari duniya ki chinta issey kyun rehti hai.."complained toshiji.
"Mummyji main thik hoon...itna araam bhi toh kiya abtoh ekdum perfect hogayi hoon" smiled ishita
"Puttar tu samjhti nahi hai .tujhe kuch hojaye toh hum sabki saansein atak jati hai .ruhi toh tere begair kuch der nahi reh pati ...tujhe toh pata hai wo har kuch der main kisi na kisi bahane se tujhe dekhti hai ki tu thik hai ya us ke aas pass hai aur raman..."toshiji was in tears
"Mummyji main jaanti hoon aapsab mujse bahut pyar karte hai...ye chota sa scratch hi hai mummyji...aur raman ne itna bada bana diya" she laughed at her own wrds
"
"Puttar sab thik hojayega...tu chinta math kar khush reh ..teri khushi se khushiyan hai iss ghar main" toshiji blessed her and walks out thinkinh
"Main teri maa toh nahi par samjh sakti hoon tu bahut dard main hai aur usey chupa rahi hai ...matarani meri bacchi mushkilein hal kardein"
Raman entered room with a tray
"Ishita ye soup pelo"
"Thanks par apko karne ki zarurat nhi thi . Im fine and i can manage it" she stood up nd felt dizzy she clutched the head rest. Raman moved to help her.
"Ishita tum thik ho?" Asked raman in a worried tone
"M fine .. just like u want ur space...i want mine aswell dont treat me as child" stated ishita freeing her hand frm his grip
"Wat do u mean ishita ...m trying to help u "he stated
"did i ask u for any help? No so let me be ,u hav helped me enough. I dont want u to worry abt me"
He held her shoulders in tight grip
"Tumhara dimag kharab hogaya hai ...tum biwi ho meri ..i hav certain responsibilities towards u . Dont be childish"he seethed in anger
"Huh...biwi.bahut jald yaad agaya. Let me remind u mr raman kumar bhalla not hours before u reminded me nature of our relation. Where we are nothing more than strangers who came together to help a child who is our daughter. We are not a couple but parents of our daughter..and u like it to be dat way. So lets just not cross the lines"she wiggled out of his grip and ran towards washroom leaving him gaping at her words.
She cried her heart . She could suppress her pain more than this...its not his rejection which hurts her but his lack of trust hurts.
She came back to room late at night. She couldnt face him anymore.the awkwardness in the room cannot be ignored. Ruhi came breakng the ice
"Ishima can i sleep with u if u are not tired?" Asked ruhi
"Sure baccha ishima is not tired"ishita tried to smile at her ruhi
Both ishita and ruhi were settled in the bed and raman on the couch with files or rather say acting so dat ishita takes the bed
"Papa aap nhi soyenge ?" Asked ruhi
"Ruhi beta papa ko kaam hai aap sojao"replied raman
Ruhi tossed nd turned in bed playing with ishitas hair.ishita was lost in sum other wrld
"Ishima ...can u read me a story ?"
"Yes...which stry does my princess wants me to read ?" Asked ishita
"Ohooo i left my stry books with shravu so dat he reads them to his sister"
"Koi baat nhi ishima apko new stry batayegi" ishita smiled at her
"Hmmm oki"
"It's a story that is older than time. It's
a story about the first and the last true
love that ever existed."said ishita. Her wrds caught ramans interest
" It was about the
blazing sun that shone brighter beyond
comparison to anything. It radiated a
light that left every single being in awe
and admiration. It was source of life and
love. The sun was beloved by everything
and anything. However no star nor any
being ever got the suns attention. "
"Wow ishima sun?"asked an amazed ruhi . Ishita nodded at her excitmnt n continued
"Sun
was loved but never loved. He never
stopped shining and never planned to
stop. He was the best and he knew it. He
didn't care about the other stars that
were enraged with jealousy. He didn't care abt anything and never planned
to. But one day everything changed. "she said
"He saw in the distant the moon. She was
dark and alone. Not like other stars that
at least possesed some light."
"She was
surrounded by her own darkness and
accepted her fate as being alone and
never being noticed.clouds came and passed Barely anyone even
cared she was there and she made no
attempt to change it. She knew deep
down she won't ever shine for just one
person to see. One person to say at least
she has some light."she continued
"But Ishima moon is so beautiful..why doesnt any1 like it?" Asked innocent ruhi
"Because she surrounded by darkness none attempted to see beyond darkness beta"replied ishita
Raman has his ears for her ...her wrd broke something within him..somethng was at miss
" The sun was
mesmerized by her darkness and
braveness. She was alone, dark and
nothing in this world but she still had
that little smile and seemed content with
what she had. Not many people can
achieve her greatness and be happy with
what she got. The sun was very curious
and couldn't help asking her the question
that he yearned the answer for. "
Raman couldnt help but put himself in sun's place n her in moon's place
How she came nd changed his life ...made his life worth living.she had her own heartache but she never once let dat come across her smile and life.she was content wid her life.she never complained of her life.wen life itself has played the biggest prank wid her.
Raman was brought out of his thoughts hearing her continue
"Moon,
the that one has no light nor no hope,
what makes you smile in the misery that
you drown but still breathe? Asked the sun"
"The moon
was shocked by the fact that the sun saw
her. She was unable to answer the
question no one cared about. She didn't
know why he would care why she was
content. She was flattered in a way and
took a deep breath and answered the
shining beauty in front of her. "oh Sun,
the source of life and light. Your shining
self is envied and hated as well as loved
and adored. You love what you have and
you know you will be in that position
forever." Ishita said smiling at her little daughter who was amazed listening to the beautiful story of sun and moon
"Ishima does sun and moon talk? But i didnt see them talking ever"asked ruhi
Ishita laughed at her innocent statement
"Roo sun and moon does talk but we cant hear them because they are in the sky "explained ishita
"Ohhh...agey batao na ishima"
"Okay...then the moon replied No matter what I love myself too. I'm
not shining like any of you do but I know
I'm special. I know I was created as
beautiful as you are created. My purpose
differs from your and that's simply my
fate. I learnt to embrace the darkness
that no one sees nor cares. That darkness
is who I am and that darkness is part of
me. It's not needed by you, but it
completes who I am. I'm content with
what I have because I'm perfect the way
I am. I don't need any light nor any
attention to define that. I'm beautiful
even though no one sees it."said ishita drifting into some other world.wrds doesnt just wrds but a reality whch she lived for a long tym
"The sun was
speechless. He now saw the hidden beauty
the moon possess that no eye saw. She
was breath-taking and he wanted every
single being to see that. He knew she was
worth everything he was going to risk."continued ishita
" Slowly the sun sank. Slowly his light
faded. He was dying while she started
living. Every eye was on her. Every eye
looked and finally saw her unique beauty
that people despised before.
Moon was
finally noticed. Her great but unique
beauty was finally seen. She didn't know
what to think about the sun killing
himself for moon to rise. Even though moon
loved the awed eyes that looked at her
she wanted to give the place back to the
sun. She sacrificed herself for him to
rise again. He died for her and she died
for him. That was the beauty of their
love. They were willing to die for the
other every single day. Each time they
sacrificed themselves there love got
bigger and stronger. They both lived for
each other, never stopping the other one
from showing their absolute different
but equally beautiful self's." She completed as a tear rolled down her cheek
Raman sat numb hearing her pouring her heart out in a story.a story dat resembles theirs. A story of true love a unconditional love at that.he felt her pain in his heart .he got answers to all the questions dat was clogging his mind why did it hurt him to see her in pain.why her eyes always looked at him in antiscipation .why he was relaxed when around her.
He never realised she had already broke in the wall which he have built around his heart.
"Ishima does sun love moon or moon loves sun?" Asked ruhi
"They both loved each other to no end sun died every night to bring life to moon so did moon she died every morning to bring life to him"
"Ishima can sun love me?"asked ruhi
Ishita and raman both smiled at their daughter's wrds
"Hmmm sun ..yes there will be a guy who will love my ruhi like sun loves his moon"replied ishu
"Like papa loves u"stayed ruhi smiling
Their eyes met hearing their daughter say that with an ease ...they didnt realise ruhi has always been wrds to their unsaid emotion which never slipped their tongue out of fear. Fear of losing each other.
Ishita nodded at ruhi and excused herself n walked out of room on pretext of getting water
