I kept thinking about Raman and ishita and their journey so far which has been so slow. I feel Raman has feelings for ishita and he is very clear in his mind that he loves her. So many actions of his prove that. He is also making an effort to get close to her and make her understand. Many times we have seen him lost in her eyes and he then snaps out. The recent shower scene where he hugged her and after seeing the reaction he thought she is changing . Gathered a bit of courage and slept next to her and finally got a reaction which was not expected. After which he went back to his shell of denial. He does not want to openly show his feelings to her mainly not because of his ego but because of his past experience with shagun and the scare of being rejected. He does not want to open up to anyone now.

Coming to ishita she has no expectations from anyone after Subbu experience. She came in to this marriage with zero expectation. She just believes in giving and has made up her mind that Raman will be never able to love her as she feels that he still has some place for shagun in his heart. She likes him as a companion and friend but nothing beyond this. She trusts him but does not expect anything from him,

If both of them continue this way then they will never move forward in their life. One has to persuade and express. In this case I strongly believe that Raman should soften a bit and try to express himself more. He should pamper her, give her the importance and make her believe that life can be good and she can expect love back from him. Ishita will no doubt melt as she has a good heart. It is just a little push needed.

No one can play Cupid for them. Raman should understand the situation and take control if things. Taunting her always will not help.

well i agree wid character sketch of raman...he needs to open up...bt i feel he is opening up!!... bt he needs a realisation..he knows that he is completely ovr shagun...he knows that his feelings fr ishu are changing, he knows dat he is getting inclined to ishu...bt wat he fails to undrstnd is the reason behind it...he fails to undrstnd dat he has fallen fr her...he is in LOVE wid her...he oly needs this realisation...

hmm...coming to ishu's feelings...its nt dat ishu doesnt love him...the oly difference is ishu is reluctant to accept dat she has fallen fr raman... there are two main reason behind this

1) bcz of hr past experience wid subu

2) bcz she still feels dat raman harbours feelings fr shagun

well i dont blame her fr dis...its nt easy fr a girl who has been dumped many a times to hav dis fear...the fear of accepting it...she has already gone through a lot when it cums to relatnship...many wud say dat raman has also gone through...bt here ishu has gone through failure in love as well as being dumped multiple times by men just bcz of her inability... also ishu's feels dat raman isnt completely ovr shagun bcz she has seen raman pretending multiple times (in front of shagun) to be a "happily married couple" ...he has faked confession twice... its believes in giving..she loves raman bt she doesnt expect anything in return (fr instance varalakshmi puja)...she gives more preference to raman's pain dan hers (example: during accident track when no one was supporting raman, ishu sent ruhi to take care of him)... when one strts giving more importance to the othr person's pain dan urs, it clearly indicates how much d person matter fr her!!!

the oly difference is raman has been able to accept his changing feelings fr ishu whr as ishu is still reserved in dis case...

N I think these two shud also spend more time with each other to understand each other better. Go on dates or shopping together or something like that.

Too much taunts giving ishita wrong signals...

And Raman has to clear up ishita's doubt that he isn't moved completely.. In accident track ishita directly said him so many times but he ever clarified it..its not easy for Raman too to take forward step in their relation because of past experience but now he knows which type of woman ishita is..

One more thing ishita's past is nowhere in her present but Raman's past is and will be there always..so in their relation Raman has to be initiative then ishita will sure step forward with him..

Ishita has been meddling in other people's lives because of her inability/fear/reluctance to deal with her own marriage...it's called playing the avoidance game...if you keep busy with fixing other people's lives then you can always pretend there's no time for your own.

Raman has made a few overtures recently, he gifted her the saree she really likes but set aside when she saw the price (Varalakshmi pooja) but rather than accept it graciously she gave him a lecture about buying her expensive gifts. She criticized when he bought her a necklace but felt bad only when Mihir told her about the time and effort he spent on designing it.

Marriage is a two way relationship of give and take. For whatever reason she freaks out when Raman gets too close for her comfort. Even if he wanted to get close, any man would back off what with her cheee and ewww reactions. What went wrong with Subbu?

Raman for his part goes overboard with the taunts sometimes when it's uncalled for. They are dancing around each other not with each other.

I agree, I too feel that Raman is already in love with Ishita but she's still trying her best to give her all to all of her relationships including her role as his wife.

Perfect analysis, specially Ishita's part. She loves Raman. She subconsciously realized she loved Raman and that was why she almost told Bala that she loved Raman. But thanks to Adi-accident case, she thinks Raman still loves Shagun or atleast has soft corner for her. That is why she is now back to her shell.

Raman's behavior is not helping either. First time when Raman proposed (fake), she was angry at him but in the second time she reacted like she was expecting it for some time. She even nodded her head slightly when Raman told her they were only made for each other. But she can't tell him she loves him as she won't be able to handle rejection this time.Because they have to live under the same roof rest of their lives and if he doesn't feel the same way, it will feel awkward and dismantle their status-quo. That's why she's reserved for the time being.

As far as Subbu is concerned, she is over him well before her marriage but she thinks if a man couldn't accept her with a decade long bf/gf relationship just because she couldn't conceive, then no one would. But she's on the verge of changing her this view seeing the inner goodness in Raman but her misunderstanding regarding Raman's feeling for Shagun is the biggest barrier.

All Raman and Ishita need heart to heart take open thier heart for each other and tell every things either thier past pain than only they can relize each other importance and see the love for each other eyes

great post ! agree with what you said !

ishita has no expectations mostly because raman is so rude that she can't even think about him being in love with her. But she is open to his love :

-when she realized the picnic trip was only for them two, she apologized

-when he did the fake declaration, she got teary eyed

so basically ishita is not receptive because raman is sometime nice but sometime mean so she can't figure him out. If raman stops his taunts and tells her how he really feel, then they'll move forward.
