I have never seen an analysis of a TV character done so beautifully.(in this case of raman). I personally love Raman as a character as he is so real and one can easily relate with him . You will find so many men like that. What adds more to Raman's character is Karan Patel portraying the role to perfection.

I love Raman and have personally not liked the last few episodes of his behaviour towards Ishita and Ruhi. But then no one is perfect and he is gonna learn from his mistakes and redeem himself. This is the testing times for Raman and hope eventually he will come out as winner.

Love the current track and hats off to the CV team who have so intelligently crafted the role of raman and are opening a layer by layers of his person and character. Beautifully and very creatively done. And it is no joke to create sucha character that can have so much of impact on the fans that they feel for him and get affected by whatever he does, good or bad!

Thank you!! 😃 I am more attached to fiction than reality, so for me, its something I love doing!

Coming to the point, I am glad you understood what I was trying to say. I wasn't supporting Raman, nor was I bashing him blindly. Just that I am mad at him, and I am right to be. But in the same breadth, I know that he is human and can make mistakes. That's exactly why I relate to the show. Whether it is Romi or Ishita or Raman, they all seem like people who I can find on the streets. The CVs have handled development and arcs really well, and hope they continue this and maintain more positiveness than vice versa!

Yes wat all u have Mentioned is fine but one thing I just want to add is ishita being a sweet simple living person got so many times hurts for her not conceive.so she experienced d pain n let's herself not to do any mistakes n people do wrong towards her excuses bcoz she knows d pain also know dat ppl realise for d mistakes... Well coming to raman yes he is misunderstood verymuch...pls don't mind for this reply pls excuse...

No problem hun, as I said I welcome any views, and some of the other members like Tanni and Jay did make some great points that made me reconsider certain things. You see I know that ishita get's hurt, and this is wrong. But she rarely does anything to assert this. I do NOT think she should be hurt, but if she is she needs to do something about it, not rue within herself. There are people like her who bottle things up, but I don't think that is right. But she has grown, and will continue to do so, so let's see where the story takes her.

I completely agree with this point. I feel that in the process of getting Aditya to reciprocate his love, he is neglecting what he already has in Ruhi. She is still innocent and impressionable, if he continues this way then she will grow up disliking him. I don't think it is a matter of favouritism, just a matter of taking for granted what you already have. This is not to say he is right in doing this, but a lot of people have been harping that, he prefers adi because he is a boy, which I just don't think is the case, he knows better than that.

True, we must appreciate the improvement rather than just bash him even more. I guess it is always easy to be pessimistic about everything.

I understand and as human beings we tend to take our near and dear ones for granted. He is doing that with Ruhi and Ishita as well now. But Ishita is a mature woman and she will understand even if she is hurt at first. Ruhi on the other hand may be scarred for life due to these problems. I am not a parent but seeing different types of parents around me, I realize that as a parent, one must always watch what they do because every little thing we do will have an impact on our children. And sometimes the things we do for the happiness of one child may scar the other one for life as in Raman's case.
Yes, he doesn't prefer Adi because he is a boy, he prefers him because he is the first born, whom he had the time to bond with and also the one who is away from him now. I think the CVs tried to make this point clear when Raman talked to Toshiji (after he asked Ishita to apologize to Adi and Shagun) but it wasn't clear due to the overload of emotions in that scene. Even if his second born was a boy, he would've yearned for Adi's love the same way. CVs should clearly point that out.
