Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan was seen avoiding reporters while arriving in Kochi, following the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) raid on properties linked to him, his father Mammootty, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Amit Chakkalackal, and others. The raids come after Dulquer had approached customs authorities for the release of a high-end vehicle seized last month, for which he received relief on October 7.
In a video circulating online, Dulquer is seen walking past reporters who were questioning him about the ongoing investigation. He did not respond to any questions and went straight to his car before leaving the location. Reports indicate that Dulquer has been summoned by the ED, though further details about the case remain limited.

Several luxury vehicles were seized in connection with a smuggling network. Among the confiscated vehicles, two were linked to Dulquer Salmaan, and multiple cars were traced to Amit Chakkalackal. While Prithviraj Sukumaran’s premises were also searched, no cars were reportedly taken from his residence.
Authorities are investigating whether these high-value vehicles were properly documented or whether the owners unknowingly became end-users of illegally imported cars. Officials believe the smuggling network could involve hundreds of vehicles, potentially causing significant revenue loss to the exchequer.
Dulquer’s arrival in Kochi during the raids and his decision not to speak to the media highlights the sensitivity of the ongoing probe. The ED and Customs departments are continuing their inquiries across Kerala and Tamil Nadu to determine the extent of the network and the role of individuals connected to these vehicles.
The investigation has attracted attention due to the involvement of several prominent actors and high-value assets. While the authorities continue to verify documentation and ownership, the actors are expected to cooperate with the ED and Customs as the probe unfolds.
