CHAPTER-6. Ishita sat paralyzed for a few seconds unable to believe what had just happened..!
She only had to drag her eyes up the tanned column of throat to look into those dark eyes to see if it was real or not..And Ishita could not stop herself from looking into his eyes,to check if he was as shocked as she was.Or-..
Her heart stopped the moment her eyes met his.
And the very next instant her poor heart got busy in pumping more blood,and her lungs started working overtime too,as if her life depended on it.While something in her stomach rolled over and made her feel queasy with the expression in those mysterious dark eyes..
Was she dreaming or was he really studying her lips with fire in his eyes,and something akin to hunger..?!
She should be moving away,but then his eyes locked her startled gaze and held them in its hypnotizing hold.Ishita felt her heart beat escalating at a fast pace..
Why did this man have such a strange effect on her?!
And that also EVERY time?!
Ishita tried to move a bit,and was nearly slipping to the ground,when he grabbed her waist.
And then he had pulled her up,made her sit up closer on his lap,and also pulled her body close to his..
Ishita could not breathe as her face brushed with his shirt collar,and quickly she tried to sit straight and move away at the same time as something delicious and heady teased at her nostrils..It was a mixture of his cologne and something else..Something that smelt just like him..
She could hear her blood roaring in her vein,and she slowly raised confused wide eyes to his..
HOT!That was all she felt when her eyes met his dark ones!
Raman just could not believe this was happening again!
His body was reacting to her just as if he was a teenager and she was her first crush!
Hell!He did not remember reacting like this towards his first crush too!This woman was a witch for sure!
His heart was beating fast as if he had been running for miles now,while all he had been doing was preventing the woman from falling down on the ground and hurting herself again..
She had just recovered from an illness and was still in a pretty vulnerable state.Her fainting last night was a clear sign of how vulnerable she was,right now!
But before he could think further and stay sane,he had pulled her closer..His hands round her waist tightened so that she was now almost crushed to his hard body.
His one hand squeezed her waist gently while the other moved up,to remove some stray wild locks off her face..Slowly..Slowly he moved the soft silky strands,that slipped along his fingers like molten silk..
Her soft lips parted in a slight sigh,as her beautiful eyes closed at his touch..
Raman felt his heart squeeze in wonder,and he just could not stop himself from touching her beautiful soft features and creamy skin..
His fingers moved along her cheek,her jawline ,her straight nose,touching them in feather light caress..Was he imagining it or did she just shiver in his hold..
Her eyes opened,as he moved his fingers to the corner of her lips,and he looked into her beautiful mesmerizing eyes,as something strange started happening within him..
And before he could stop herself,his thumb brushed against her full bottom lip..
She gasped out,parting her soft juicy lips..
But Raman locked her gaze with his heated one,as his thumb brushed along her soft bottom lip,moving right and left,then left to right..
He inhaled a raspy breath,not understanding why his body was reacting like this to what was merely a slight touch to an experienced person like him..?!
Ishita felt her lips were on fire,as his thumb brushed against the soft fullness of her bottom lip.
Hot zings of electricity were passing from her lips to all over her body,and her nerves were on fire..!And the odd think was she was frozen at that time..!She could not move then even if a bomb blasted there right then..Though practically she herself felt like a ticking time bomb..
His eyes were getting dark too,with every soft brush of her thumb,and his face was coming closer..
Somewhere at the back of her mind Ishita knew she should be moving away..That this was not right..It was all wrong,but she could not..!
His lips were so close to hers now,and Ishita was sure he would kiss her any time now..And like a trapped deer she waited for the avalanche of emotions to take over..
His lips were almost touching hers now,and-..
"BHAI!"
Raman and Ishita moved away instantly as Mihir barged in the room..
An awkward silence followed,and getting over the shock quickly,Ishita tried to get up from Raman's lap,but found herself being held back and falling back again..
She tried one more time,but her eyes widened as she felt the zipper at the back of her kurta opening up..!
What was happening?!She went still,embarrassed irked and irritated all at the same time thinking Raman was doing this to her!
Mihir looked at Raman and then his captive Ishita who seemed to be sitting on his lap..!HIS LAP?!!What the hell was he seeing?!
He blinked trying to understand what was happening?!
He watched as if in a daze that the woman called Ishita was trying to get up,and then she again sat back on his brother's lap!
He was seeing something amazing in a long time!
This was his brother,The Raman Kumar Bhalla,the most arrogant man ever,and he was-..What?!He was doing what?!He just could not fathom..!
And then Raman's voice broke into his dazed and stupefied state..
"Mihir!I am busy now could you meet me sometime else?"He snapped out,and Mihir quickly strode out of the room,breaking from his trance.
He knew that tone..
Raman bhai meant business and did not want to be disturbed..But why?!Was he-..Was what he saw-..
Mihir shook his head,confused as ever,and decided to spend some time with Ruhi before he left..He needed to talk to Raman bhai..He needed to understand..
As the door closed shut behind Mihir,Ishita felt shame take over her..
Ishita wished the floor would part and she would enter just like Goddess Sita!
Oh God!What had just happened?!And why was the man doing this to her?!
She again tried to move,and her zipper came open two more inches..!
Quickly she grabbed the shoulder of her kurti,afraid it might completely fall off,and ashamed more than ever,of the view she had just given to the rotten RAMAN KUMAR BHALLA!!!
"Will you let go of it?!"She hissed out angrily.
A few seconds silence,and then..
"Let go of what?!If you are not sense less then you should be feeling that..Ummm.My hands are on your waist.."He said in a curt voice..
That was when Ishita felt it too..
He was saying the truth!
But wait a minute!He should not be holding her waist too!
"Move your-.."She did not need to finish her sentence as he had already let go of her waist by then.
But then what had happened to her zipper?!What was pulling it open,and why couldn't she move?!
She tried to turn round and see,when she felt a strong tug on her hair..
"Aiyyo amma!"She moaned out.
"Don't move!Bewakoof aurat!"He scolded in his husky voice..She was getting ready to blast him,when his words again stopped her.
"Your hair..Your stupid hair has tied together your..Ummm..Your zipper and my shirt button..Wait..Let me open this.."His words were followed by a loud and lengthy line of expletives cursing her rotten hair,his rotten luck,bewakoof aurat's more bewakoof hair,and what not..
Ishita tried to sit patiently,as he tried to untangle her hair,trying not to wince too much when he tugged too strongly..
She was ready to sacrifice her hair,if it meant she could move away from this man!
Finally after six or seven long minutes Raman had managed to untangle the stupid hair strand..
The longest seven minutes of his life,he realised angrily..
If this went on for some more time,she would know very well how much she affected him..!
Hell!maybe she already knew,since she was sitting on his-..
"You can move now!"He said harshly,giving her a push at the same time..
Ishita stood up quickly,and tried to pull her zipper up..
She was not being successful..
"Here..Let me.."
"Don't you dare come near me again!"She hissed out taking a step back..
Raman stood shocked..What was the woman playing at?!Wasn't she the one who pushed him into that chair,and then followed her way to sit on his lap?!
"Why did you tell that-..That man to leave?!What will he think..?!"
Raman rolled his eyes at her words..
"Mihir?He is my brother..He won't think anything..He will-.."
"Yes!He will think I am one of your stupid Bimbos entertaining your needs!"
"Excuse me?!"
Raman was at the end of his patience now..This woman was getting hysterical now,and he was losing his temper fast!
"Stupid Bimbos?!You think I entertain Bimbos in my study?!What the-.."
He could not finish his sentence as the woman turned round and left the study like a storm,just the way she had come in..
Raman stopped himself from following her,or explaining anything..
And what the hell was he going to explain anyway?!He himself was confused as to what had just happened!
Things were all going wrong..!
He needed to make his next move before things got out of his hands..!
He needed to plan his next step..
And he had to be very professional and very careful this time..
This woman was the only hope he had for his daughter,and he was not going to mess it up in anyway..Not this time..!
Raman walked towards the bar at the corner of his study..He normally did not drink so early in the morning,but it was necessary now..
He needed to get hold of himself and think up his next step..
His mind showed a flashback of her creamy back,that had nearly been exposed to him by the coming open zipper,and his body twitched in response..
He cursed loudly again..
He needed to think with his BRAIN..BRAIN!Not any other regions of his body..!
As he kept remembering the feel and smell of her with every sip of the whisky he took,he nearly threw the glass away,but controlled himself at the last moment..
This was going to be a little more than difficult for him..He thought with a sigh..
And then leaned back on the sofa he was sitting on,and let the memories wash over him..
Maybe his body would calm down after he had relived the moment,and then he could think with his BRAIN..
But at that moment it was another part that was ruling his senses..
But Raman Kumar Bhalla was a fighter..He would fight it out and win again..He always did..He had to..
