If someone told her the world stands still when some people looked into your eyes,Ishita would have denied it any time of the day..
Ishita Iyer was just too practical for it all.
But at that moment,the thundering night sky and pouring rain had all seemed to fade in the background.
A shiver passed through her body,as she watched the approaching dark menacing figure.
Thunder flashed onto his face just as he removed the dupatta off his face..
And her heart reflected the turmoil of the weather..
Those fathomless dark eyes,grounded her then and there.
And then before Ishita could understand what he was about,she was pulled to her feet..
A silent scream escaped her lips,as she winced out in pain,and the next instant had fallen against the man..
Her breathing fast,and her heart nearly bursting out,she slowly dragged her eyes up the unshaven strong jawline,those chiseled male lips,that straight nose,and then the dark gaze locked hers again..
Rain dripped down his face,his strangely long eyelashes wet and spiky due to them,as he stared at her unblinkingly.
This was totally strange..Ishita was not liking the way her body was reacting to his proximity..
Ishita was a strong person by nature,who always acted carefully..And she was not liking her body's response to the man's proximity..He was her kidnapper for God's sake!She tried to explain to herself angrily.
But before she could think further,she could feel his hand against the small of her back,and instantly a hot thrill passed through her.
Her eyes widened as she stared into his dark eyes..
Something strange lighted up his eyes too..!She noticed it,but only for a second,and then it was gone..
"Miss Ishita Iyer..What are you doing out and about at this time of night?Enjoying the rain?"His voice sounded smooth and silky in her ears..As smooth and silky like a slithering snake!She thought angrily.
She was not about to give him the pleasure of a response..!He did not deserve it!In fact she would-..
A startled gasp escaped her lips,as he pulled her body closer against his,and suddenly Ishita felt wet and exposed..
Her dress was clinging to every inch of her body,and the way she was crushed to his hard one,she could also feel every inch of his hard chest,under that wet equally clinging shirt of his..
This was not right.She cajoled herself to calm down and act sane,as her some body parts seemed to be tautening up in response despite her mind's constant warning..
And to add more to her distress,she realised he knew it!
A blush covered her cheeks as she noticed the slight smirk at the corner of his lips,and the devilish glint in his eyes..
"You did not answer me Miss Iyer.."He cajoled softly again,his voice a shade husky now,wreaking some more havoc with her senses..
How can a man smell so wonderful even when he is drowned in rainwater to his skin!
She wondered in vain,as a slight musky sent hit her nostrils,and Ishita reeled,holding onto his shirt for support..His hands curved round her waist,and slightly squeezed there,making her stifle another gasp.
Her pulse quickened,as she looked into those dark magnetic eyes,hypnotizing her with the strange fire in them..
This was just not right..!This should feel horrible!But it did not!WHY?!!
"So you don't want to talk,do you Miss Iyer?"His voice had now become huskier still.His one hand moved to caress her wet back,his fingers lingering against the exposed skin just above her deep neckline..It made her skin burn,as her heart raced faster,and her breathing became fast too..
And then his dark eyes meaningfully looked down at her parted lips..
Her lips went dry in nervousness,and she licked at her bottom lip..Wrong move,she decided too late,as his eyes darkened at the act,and he pulled her closer to his hard body.
"You want something else..?"He was coming closer now..
His lips swooping down on hers,and Ishita tried to move backwards and push him away at the same time.
She managed to push him away,while she fell down on the wet grass with a thud again.
"Aiyyo Muruga!"She muttered as she tried to massage her sprained ankle.
Raman stared confused at her..
And that was when it hit him..
The woman had sprained her ankle!Maybe that is why she was leaning onto him.and he had thought-..
He cursed loudly,controlling his body's strange reaction to this even stranger woman!
He had time enough to think and wonder about what he had thought and what was the reality..
Now she needed to be moved..!He did not want her to fall sick all over again!
And before he could change his decision,he lowered down and scooped her up in his arms.
She gasped out in surprise,as her nails dug into his arm where she held onto him for support..
"Where are you taking me?!"She squeaked out,as he strode towards the house.
"To the bedroom!"He grunted out.
"Why?!"Raman rolled his eye at the question.Women!He really wished God had given them some more common sense in place of the tendency to talk too much!
"To ravish you!"He said in a husky voice,his eyes looking into hers,with hot undisguised unadulterated need.
"What-..?!"Ishita could not finish uttering the word,when she was dropped onto the large bed.
"Open your clothes!"He ordered her softly,as he lowered himself to her level on the bed,and looked into her eyes.
Ishita felt the world reel infront of her eyes..And before she knew it,she had fainted flat on the bed..
So Ishita Iyer never heard the loud curse that followed her fainting,or the sound of him calling in the old female house keeper,to get her changed..
Ishita was up early next morning,having vague memory of what had happened last night.
And then her eyes fell on the bluish green new kurta she was wearing now,and she frowned in confusion.
Instantly her eyes widened,as she was reminded of the memories of last night.
Stormy night..A wet hard body..A musky scent..The feel of hard fingers holding her back..And dark dark mysterious eyes..
Ishita blushed red at the memory of it all..
And then rage followed..
So Raman Bhalla had dared to change her clothes!How dar he?!She would show him what she was made of!
She got off the bed,and stomped out of the room..
Not once did she stop to think that the door was unlocked,nor did she wonder at the probable reason behind it.
Only one thing was in her mind at that moment..And it was MURDER OF RAMAN BHALLA!!!
Ishita was not sure where to find him,so she snapped at the first servant she noticed..
Then the next instant she softened her tone,and giving the startled man an apologetic smile queried about the whereabouts of Raman Bhalla.
Her anger had only one target,and that was Raman Kumar Bhalla!
Her eyes glinting with fury,her lips thinned in determination,she strode into the study..
Her target was leaning against the window pane looking at something outside.
"Mr. RAMAN KUMAR BHALLA!"She snapped out at his back.
He turned slightly,gave her a bored look,indicated her to be silent,and turned back to the window.
"Mr. Bhalla!I-.."She was again shushed down,but this time loudly. Ishita felt like a five year old naughty brat making a tantrum for no reason..!And she did not like it AT ALL!
"Mr.BHALLA!I-..Aiyyo!!!"She screamed out instead,as she slipped on a live cat.
The cat screeched its irritation,and ran away while Ishita fell right on top of Raman Bhalla.
When she finally managed to open her eyes she realised she had pushed him into a huge arm chair,as she slipped,and was now sitting right on his lap!
