why is everyone expecting to behave like a typical pati and support ishita?? on what basis?? their relationship is yet to reach the friendship bridge or any kind of relation. all they share is their love for ruhi and the start of their nok jhoks because they have finally started to like each other a lil bit. their relationship is not strong enough that raman is gonna trust ishita blindly. first of all nobody told him anything and suddenly ishita just blurted out the whole truth instead of explaining him privately and preparing him first. the guy was literally caught between wife and sister. he is suppose to support and trust his sister (whom he knows forever) or ishita (whom he just got married as a compromise for ruhi). so far ishita is concerned, love her honesty but sometimes truth needs to be told at the right time and very smartly when the enemy is very cunning. basically what i am saying is instead of going all guns blazing on parmeet, ishita should have smartly collected strong evidences and expose him. i mean c'mon the guy is pervert and he is not going to change so just take the advantage of that and expose him. i m hoping raman smartly handles this and exposes parmeet because raman is def the smart one between him and ishita. ishita is strong but cant play games like raman or shagun or ashok.
Blue: no one expects him to defend ishita blindly. given the situation, raman's silence is expected. if you see the reactions here, people are mad at him for questioning her at the end. they understand why he did not defend her. Ishita loves ruhi like her own, she takes care of her every need, she even puts up with raman and his uncouth family- all for ruhi. if not trust, then she automatically deserves respect and gratitude. if raman cannot trust her, then he could have at least respect what little dignity she had left.
I wish ishita told him this prior to revealing it to his family, maybe this whole mess could have been avoided but seeing her plight today and yesterday, I cannot blame this on her. as a women, I will support her till end. ishita is a victim here, could she have done things differently? DEFINITELY, but none of this is her fault. besides, I doubt she expected the tables to turn on her so viciously, she was almost molested and then put in prison for doing the right thing. at that point she was desperate for someone to believe her but fell into permeet's trap instead. in order to deal with a sex offender, you need to know the mentality of one and unfortunately, poor ishita could not fathom how low can parmeet get.
