Sorry for this delay. My exams were stopping me from being active in IF. Finally, i am back...

That evening, Ishita took Adi and Ruhi out with her. Finally, Adi started connecting with Ruhi as a sister and he started feeling protective about her. Somewhere, he even felt jealous of her. She's leading a settled life with Ishita whereas he has to juggle between Shagun and Ishita. Still, above all, he felt that content which Shagun could never give him with her expensive gifts. He realized that it is because of the love around him. For the first time in all these 6 years, he felt a sense of euphoria inside him. He finally decided to give a chance to his family...whole heartedly.

Ishita has been able to connect with Adi from the moment he opened up to her. So, she knew what was running his mind or rather she wanted him to think so that she took him out with Ruhi leaving Raman at home.

Here, in Ashok's house, Shagun is having a tough time dealing with Ashok. They knew it was coming. The moment Adi confessed that he wants to be with Ishita, they knew that they lost it. Afterall, it is Adi... Not Ruhi who will come easily in their words due to her innocence. He understands more than what a normal 11 year old kid do. He can't be manipulated... But, still, Ashok is becoming unbearable. He has been drinking the whole day and has been blabbering the whole day that Raman has taken everything from him. He even threatened Shagun to bring Adi back on track this weekend on failure of which she's going to thrown out of his life. Shagun was busy scheming on what to do to get back her son's love which she lost due to her foolishness...

In Bhalla house, everyone gathered for dinner. They were shocked beyond words when Adi joined them with Ishu and Ruhi. Toshi wanted to talk to him when she controlled her urge on Ishu stopping her with her eyes. Raman understood Ishu's plan and started behaving in a normal manner. Ishu starting feeding Ruhi and when she realized Adi longing for the same, she fed him with her hands. Adi was happy. This is what she expected to happen. She wanted everyone to give Adi the required space rather than forcing themselves on him. She wanted Adi to feel their love which is present in every single corner of Bhalla house for him. Raman would even say that the ice is finally breaking between them. He wasn't anymore giving those angry cold stares to Raman. He occasionally laughed for his one-liners... Raman was contended and held Ishu's hands under the table to express his content. Both of them shared a eye lock which didn't go unnoticed by Adithya. He was happy to see that love between his parents. This was something which he has longed forever... In all his life, he has never seen Raman and Shagun share such a beautiful moment... He thanked god for sending Ishu into their life...

Shagun was restless thinking about her defeat. Her son whom she has groomed all these years suddenly became Ishita's laadla. Just in a month's time... She was wondering again and again as to how it was possible. Yes, Ishita saved his life... How did that impact Adi so much??? She kept on thinking as to how her life style suddenly didn't go well with Adi and how he started preferring true love over materialistic pleasures... More than anything, the pain of separation was killing her. She herself was new to it. She never understood his importance when he was with her but now... She was determined to get him back.

In Bhalla house, in Raman's bedroom, it was time for a perfect family picture. All four of them were sleeping on the same bed. Owing to its size, all of them were sleeping close to each other. What surprised Raman was that Adi didn't protest to sleep on the same bed with him. He woke up late night when Ruhi and Adi kept on pushing him to the ground. He saw that his place is being snatched by his kids whereas Ishita has been given sufficient space to sleep comfortably...

Raman: Jhansi Ki Rani... Bachon ko mere khilaf badka diya... Dekho, kitne aaram se so rahi hai... Lekin conspire karke mujhe baga diya...

Raman finally decided to shift to the couch in hall... He placed pillow by Ruhi's side to avoid her from falling down. After tossing around for some time, he gave up and decided to stand in the balcony... Peaceful, he thought... More than the society, his mind is at peace...Finally... He thanked god for sending Ishu in his life when she hugged him from back...

Raman: Yeh Ishita hai...

Ishita: kisi aur ko expect kar rahe the kya?

Raman: Mera matlab tum kab se itni romantic ho gayi... (Touching her forehead) Tabyath teek hai na...

Ishita: Tum kabhi nahi sudharoge... Kitna taane marte ho...Sukoon se jeene nahi doge na...

Raman: O madam...Who's telling this... Apne room mein sone ki fursat tak nahi hai mujhe ? Dakka de diya bachoon ne...

Ishita: Suna maine tumhara one-liner...

Raman: Yehi batane aayi ho?

Ishita: (Frowning...) Gud nyt...

Raman stopped her...

Raman: Mujhe kuch kehna hai tumse...

Ishita: Kya?

Raman: Thanks... Adi seemed quite normal today.

Ishita: Yeh Thanks tab kaho jab Adi tumhe poori tarah apnayega... Voh bhi bahut jald...

Raman: Really? Mera beta ziddi hai...

Ishita: Aakir beta kiska hai...

Raman: Mujhe bolne dogi... Itne jaldi nahi manne wala...

Ishita: Manega... Iss hafte Shagun ke saath jaane se pehle aapko papa bhulayega...

Raman: You are building castles in air... Aisa kuch nahi hoga...

Ishita: Hoga na... He loves you so much... Voh kafa issliye hai kyonki tumhara pyaar use itne din nahi mila... He'll be ok now... And, it's a challenge...

Raman: Dekhte hain...

Ishita: Tumhari dekhne ya na dekhne se kya hoga... If i win, what will i get Raman?

Raman: Kaisi baat karne lagi ho aaj kal... Deal, challenge...

Ishita: Thoda seekh liya tumse... Businessman ki biwi hoon... Tum apne precious office ko ek din bunk karke humare saath ghumne chaloge...

Raman: (Raman was floored by Ishita's innocence again. But for family's happiness, she wants nothing. This is making him love her more and more. As he couldn't contain anymore, he hugged her) Fine. Lekin, ek problem hai. Its already Wednesday...

Hearing the same, Ishita broke their hug.

Ishita: Mujhe weekdays ki order yaad hai... Kuch acha nahi bol sakte toh chup raho na... Jaa rahi hoon... So jao...

While Ishita was moving towards their room, Raman heard her ramblings calling him Raavan kumar.

For the first time ever, Raman wanted so badly to lose... He was somehow assured of the same after the morning incident... Adithya was in a hurry to complete some project when he was in urgent need of some stationery... Raman immediately went out to get the same... While returning back, he was fully drenched in the unseasonal rains... When Adi saw him drenched, he immediately offered him towel and asked Ishita to make kada for him... My son still remembers that my throat gets affected on getting drenched... The concern in Adi's eyes reflected his defeat...

That day passed... Thursday evening was there when he was in the office thinking about all the sweet encounters in these two days between him and his son... Adi started talking to his family members...He doesn't mind being touched by them even if he's not comfortable to the extent of hug. Tremendous, he must agree... Ishita was right. He always loved them. Little did he know that his defeat was just minutes away... He got Ishita's call that she's waiting with Adi and Ruhi for him... He saw them at the entrance...

Raman: (In a tensed tone)Kya hua...

Ishita: Ice-cream kana hai...

Raman: What? Are you crazy? Mein itna chintit tha aur tum keh rahi ho ki Ice cream kana hai... Tum yeh baat phone pe nahi keh sakti thi?

Adi: Aap meri ma par chilla kyon rahe ho? Agar pehle bata diya hota toh kya aap apne kaam chodkar aayenge... Isliye nahi bataya... Mera idea tha...

Ishita: Yeh mat sochna ki main akeli hoon... Mera beta hai mere saath...

Raman: (In a low voice) Waise tum akele hi kaafi ho...

Ishita and Adi heard the same and Ishita was giving deadly glares to him. Adi saw another fight making its way and intervened.

Adi: Oh god... Paise dijiye... Main le aata hoon...

Raman: I'll come with you beta...

Adi: Relax... I'm a big boy...

Raman: (Smilingly) I didn't know that... Yeh lo...

He handed over his purse to Adi and got busy with his pending nok-jhok. While returning back, Raman saw that Adi failed to see the truck coming towards his right. He plunged in front of Adi and saved him from that truck. Before Raman could realize more, Adi hugged Raman...

Adi: Aap teek ho na? Dad, aap teek ho na?

Raman: Haan be... Adi... What did you call me?

Adi: Dad...I'm sorry... For everything... I have always loved you. Jab main Shagun mamma ke pass tha, mujhe hamesha se intezar tha aapka. Shagun mamma ne bhi yehi kaha mujhse pehli custody case ke waqt ki mujhe daantne ke liye aap mujhse maafi mangoge and mere pass aaoge agar mein aapke khilaf judge se kaha toh... Aisa nahi hua... Toh mujhe laga aap mujhse pyaar nahi karte ho... Isliye mujhe aapko dekhna bhi pasand nahi tha lekin Ishita mamma se jab main yeh baat kal discuss kar raha tha, tab unhone kaha ki aapko judge ne rok diya mujhse milne ke liye... Main tabse sorry bolne ki koshish kar raha tha... Isliye mamma ko lekar aaya tha...

Raman heard that. Ishita was right. Adi never hated him. He lost it... He has won even by losing it... He looked at Ishita...Ishita and Ruhi ran towards them. All four of them hugged... In the middle of the road... Anything can be given in the world to get a glimpse of this happy family... But, someone saw it who mustn't have seen it... Shagun and Ashok... This one sight spoilt it for them that they decided to get back to their house without attending the party...

Ashok: Yeh sab kya hai? Kya ho raha hai Shagun?

Shagun: What nonsense Ashok... Mujhse pooch rahe ho... Main bhi tumhari tarah hoon na... Even, I'm shocked...

Ashok: Bakwaas band karo... Jab kal Adi aayega, aisa kuch karo jiske baad voh Raman aur Ishita ko hamesha ke liye bhool jaye...

Shagun: Mujhe kya black magic aata hai? Lemme first see as to how much my son is changed before doing something...

Ashok: Shagun... I'm serious. Do it or get lost... This is your last chance...

Shagun couldn't believe her eyes. She wanted to forget everything. She took the help of drinks for the same.
