Are they going to show Teej in Uttaran? Waise I noticed they never show these sort of festivals like Teej or Karva Chauth or Diwali or anything. Only one time they showed Holi.😆 It will be good to see Teej as I love the festival😳 The shringaar...green saree...heavy jewellery...bada bada sindoor...thaali...love Teej😳

yeh we can have them...I just got the idea cos they were showing it in SBB that Tapu had done shringaar for Teej...but I was unsure...waise I believe that for Teej...the shraddha and devotion for the pati is there in the patni...it will be successful. If...poore dil se she means it.

lambooo ji this prayer is done at a set time every year and is part of a patni's dharm to fast on this day then the pati breaks her fast as the moon rises after some rituals! now whether or not a death has happened...this custom has to be fulfilled

Now it seems that some people have more knowledge about Indian Traditions and costumes living far away from India and having just a rudimentary knowledge of the great Indian culture based on truth, non-violence, love, sacrifice not based on lies, violence, hatred and selfishness. I think our esteemed women members will enlighten the forum though there are regional variations, it is a common practice in all parts of the country that not any rituals, pious things, festivities cannot be held for one full year after the death of a person and if the deceased happens to be a young one, no one even talks about them....here people are lecturing about celebrating rituals with full sringar......I do not know whether to laugh or pity on such ignorance......
