I followed this serial on and off 😆- watched it a bit during S1 (around the JasFa airport scene) . Didn't really watch S2, but followed it enough to know who the characters were- thought they butchered all ships and didn't really do justice to any character in S2.

I used to watch a bit of ZMGA and KKIS on Sitara- both were competitors to UD, so it was kinda natural to know what was happening in UD land.

Sadly there are no WU's on this forum, but I watch the odd Colors promo here and there, just to see what they're doing with the story. Not much hope from SaRavi though (which is why I didn't watch Junooniyat)- it's criminal that they didn't punish Jasmine one bit.

It is confirmed that Alia is def the villain of the story. The fact that Alia is less like early version of Jesmin is that she has been fed nothing but negative things about Nehmat by Harleen. Family has not even done anything to end the rift between mother and daughter. It is as if they do not care about that. Even Ekam is not doing anything. So it is natural that Alia has turned up this way. We cannot blame her; they literally did not let her go to Canada with Harleen. The hatred that she shows to Nehmath is expected. But I just hope that she will not go to the level at which she couldn't be redeemable in the end. I want her to beg for forgiveness from Nehmath in the end.

Why can’t anyone sit Aliya down and tell her the whole story about her childhood? How does hiding the truth at this point help anyone? And even if she knows the truth - she can still want to go kaneda for revenge 😀

It is really stupid. Nobody bothered to tell her the truth ever. I can still understand keeping a child in dark. But what excuse can be there for hiding the truth from a 26 yr old grown up woman. It seems like dumbo Nehmat's idea and everyone just thinks that is absolutely fine. And Aliya has all the time in the world to emotionally blackmail Armaan, lie, cheat, steal to go to Kanneda. But she has no time to introspect why everyone turned against Harleen suddenly or why everyone loves Nehmat. Whole thing is half baked attempt to show some negativity.

Looks like trp this week fell really badly. Forced marriage track will be happening soon.

Forced marriage will most probably happen next week and Harleen will be back in India.

The TRP is 1.0

Makers will have to use the technique they used earlier and introduce a known face to stabilize the ratings.

Not surprised about the TRP - the show has been really slow. Even after a week+ they are still establishing characters with the story in circles. Aliya will do anything to go to kaneda for Harleen and Asmaa will anything to win her dad’s family. That’s the story since leap. If you have seen 2 episodes of the lot, you have seen it all.
