I think she would have "settled" with Jacob.She would have never really gotten over Edward though. I think when he left her, he took a big part of her. They are soul mates. They belonged together and thats why they suffer when apart😭.

I don't think it would have ever been possible to make these stories about her and Edward not being together... it is their love that makes the books.😛 What do you think?

hmm yes... you know that might have ended up being a kal ho na ho scenario where bella learns how to live with jacob but still loves edward though she can't be with her.

If Edward had never come back.. She was already falling in love with Jacob. I don't think she would've completely gotten over him, but she would've learned to live without him and Jacob would have most definitely kept her happy. Her feelings for Edward would've still been stronger than for Jacob.

my heart broke when alice came back and then it got stabbed into pieces when edward got back in the picture.
