When Pakkhi mailed her letter... She was mad as hell. And in her anger she no longer cared about the two girls. She went so far as to tell the land lord it was all a sham to keep a roof over her heads, not for once thinking these two girls would be stranded in a strange city with no place to sleep by that.
Then when she found her kids, she did an about turn and liked them again. That was just a small indication of her. A person's true character comes to light only when they are experiencing turmoil, and in that instance we saw a glimpse of it.
Here to she is blinded by her love for her son, even with the evidence in front her eye that he is not her blood, and that he is a criminal...she is not seeing that. She is burning her whole life and those around her.
She dose need help. Only time will tell how far she would go , what would she lose before seeing sense again!

Excellent observation Vinnie. 👏

There has been no assassination of Anuja's character. Indicative traces of her personality disorder was presented to the viewers way back.

ITA with the above statement in bold. Anuja exposed her true self when faced with turmoil.

Anuja had to work hard to survive and it is due to the very kind Pakhi that Anuja met Anshuman and Lavanya.. She saw that Anshuman was wealthy and there and then she decided to establish herself as lady of the manor. She walked out on her children ( if she is really Devati ) and did not look back.

As soon as she was accepted as Anshuman's mum she suddenly found a son who no one knew about and who she did not try to find in all those years.

No one checked out her story , they all believed her lies., only Anshuman knew that Aryaman is an imposter but before he could do anything about it he was murdered.

Anuja did not mourn his death but she wanted Pakhi to marry Aryaman.

Legally Pakhi is Anshuman's widow so she should inherit his wealth jointly with Ayaan.
Anuja should be thrown out from the house.

Pamela - you are very insightful and have stated very important issues here. All facts seem to point that Anuja may not be Anshuman's mother. The sudden appearance of Aaryamaan whom she claimed as her son was fishy too and then Anshuman's murder.

However there is one caveat - even though legally Pakhi is Anshuman's widow and Ayaan his son - unless and until it is proved that Anuja is NOT Anshuman's mother, Anuja can file claim to Anshuman's weatlth - as he inherited the business from his father.

I agree Anuja needs help and I also agree with Vinnie about this character trait (I have now watched all the episodes from the beginning) that when pushed her mean streak appears.
I think her current state of mind is that she has lost out on a large portion of her children's life. In addition she feels really guilty about Aryaman's suffering (I am making the assumption that she does not know/does not want to believe that Aryaman is not her son but an impostor).

When she finally reconnects with them, one of her children is responsible for the death of another. This was no accident and yes Aryaman tried to stop it but ultimately he was responsible for Ansuman's death. That's a horrible thing for a parent to accept.

She has already lost too much time with her children and lost one child for ever. She does not want to lose anymore time so she has held onto the one ray of hope (that Aryaman tried to stop what was happening) and convinced herself that Pakhi would be able to change him into a decent human being like she did Anshuman.

The difference of course is that Pakhi wanted to win over Ansuman whereas she wants nothing to do with Aryaman (everytime she looks at Aryaman she sees what she has lost because of him).

The other thing fueling the fire in Anjua is the bond Pakhi-Aayan has, something Anjua does not have with her children. That's why she keeping making a distinction between blood ties and bonds of love because it is only in the former that she has the upper hand.

Payal - I applaud the way you think and pen down your thoughts 👏

Your viewpoint is entirely plausible and I can see how unsettling it is for Anuja to get all riled up watching Pakhi-Ayaan.

But then if Ayaan is her real grandson - why is she not concerned about his happiness, his welfare, and well being?

Why is she so determined to traumatize Ayaan? Unless of course she does have a personality disorder that has a strong leaning towards the sociopathic element.
