Closing the door behind, she turned the water on and splashed it on her face to cool herself, grabbing his towel off the stand she wiped her face she could smell him, looking in the mirror "oh God now what do I do" Jai had left a huge love bite on her right shoulder she didn't know how to hide it, it was too darn big and would not go unnoticed. She rushed out of the bathroom
Jai: ready, chalen
Bani glared at him
Jai was completely oblivious to what happened, 'kya hua Bani'
Bani came close to him and pointed to the mark 'this is whats wrong, how could you Jai, now how am I suppose to go down and face everyone, uhh I knew it was a bad idea coming in here with you but you.. ah'
Jai's eyes shone with mischeif, 'there's nothing wrong with it, just shows how much I love you'
Bani: be serious Jai, what will everyone think of it, think of me she was at the verge of tears
Jai: tried coming close to her
Bani: stay away from me Jai Walia and moved back a few steps
Jai took a step forward, she kept moving back till she was caught against the wall, he took another step towards her and put his arms on the wall caging her, 'aab kahan jayogi Bani?' she could feel his breath on her face which made her shiver.
Bani 'Jai please she barely whispered'
Jai moved his thumb gently over the mark and kissed it, 'there is my seal on this side and looking at the left side which was covered by her pallu, nothing here, slightly moving the pallu he lingered his lips on her creamy white skin kissing it biting it, she was loosing her self yet again to his passion, he was instilling too many emotions within her, she wanted to push him away, she knew this was nor the time nor the place for it but she had lost control over her senses her ability to think the moment he touched her, she closed her eyes, a few minutes later satisfied with his seal on this side, looked at her, her eyes were closed, he blew warm air on her face, her face crinkled 'Bani' she opened her eyes 'now its fair on both sides' Jai; she hit his shoulder 'tum bahut kharab ho'
Jai: admit it jaan you like no love it too being close to me
Bani: no
Jai: you sure, cause your eyes betray your words
Bani: you need glasses
Jai: for you never
Bani: Jai serious now I need to cover this up, it is too darn prominent
Jai: ok ok, what do you want to do?
Bani: well maybe i can cover it with some foundation
Jai: ok great, then do it why are you asking me
Bani was exasperated; sarcastly well Jai I would have you know besides the fact I don't have it here with me, or you forget I'm at your house
Jai: it'll be yours soon
Bani: Jai can you please just get me some foundation?
Jai: ya Bani ofcourse I use it everyday, why did you even ask it should be in the drawer
Bani who was getting irritated 'Jai I'm sure Anu must be having some, please get it from her'
Jai: let me see, it'll cost you
Bani: what
Jai: well Anu is downstairs, so technically there are about twenty steps on the stairs and them to the living room about twenty more steps, so that's forty steps, and then coming back up to the room, another forty but I'll give you a discount 'ok then I need forty kisses'
Bani: ya right rolling her eyes
Jai: ya and if you want that foundation or whatever it is you better start soon as we don't have much time looking at his watch and then back at her.
Bani: I don't think so
Jai: really, well the good luck coming down and be ready to give an explanation for this little thing 'rubbing it again gently winking at her' her face flushed, but she was not going to give into it this time
Bani: we'll see about that, but for now can I borrow your phone
Jai was like yaar yeh phone kahan se beech mein aa gaya 'haan here'
Bani took his cell and browsed down till she found Anu in the listing and dialed her number
Anu: mamaji
Bani: nahi Anu mein hoon
Anu: Aree Mami aap, kitni deer se wait kar rahe hain apka jaldi se neeche ayo naa, movie shuru karne lage hain bus Mom coffee of pop corn bana rahi hain
Bani: haan, per mei baat toh sun
Anu: haan bolo
Bani: listen Anu can I borrow your makeup kit
Jai was like what in the world he tried getting the phone back from her but she was too quick and went in the bathroom locking him out.
Anu was like why does she want my makeup set 'kyun kya baat hai Mami'
Bani: nahi woh actullay haan just wanted touch it up a little if you don't mind
Anu was a bit surprised cause from what she had seen of Bani she didn't remember seeing much make up on her at most she thought Bani might've been wearing lip gloss and kaajal
Bani: Anu?
Anu: jee Mami meh abhi ayee
Bani: thanks
Anu: dadi meh abhi ayee
Dadi: puttar jaldi aana aaur upar Jai aaur Bani ko bhi bol ki jaldi karen
Anu: haan Dadi
Bani came out of the bathroom coming near him with a smile 'oh haan here's your phone thank sweetheart'
Jai sulked, this is now how it was suppose to be, he took the phone and crossed his arms across his chest
He looked so cute sulking like someone had refused a kid his chocolate, she heard a knock on the door 'oh that must be Anu, I'll see you downstairs Jai' and walked of smiling to herself
Before opening the door she had taken the palla over her right shoulder around her back to hide it from Anu.
Anu: hey Mami, chalo my room's that way
Anu: ok here is all my make up use what ever you need to
Bani: thanks Anu; she waited for Anu to leave but that didn't seem to be the case, from what Bani could judge she wasn't going out without her 'ah Anu mein bas laga ke aati hoon, tu jaa neeche sub wait kar rahe honge na'
Anu: oh no probs Mami I'll go with you, oh God I totally forgot I had to tell Mamaji to go down too, lets do this why don't you finish up here and I'll go tell him to go.
Bani: immediately agreed and sighed in releif upon being alone, quickly going throuhg her kit she finally found the foundation and applied it, she couldn't help keep the blush from creeping in her cheeks as she touched the very spot where Jai's lips roved not too long ago.
Closing the lid of the foundation she put it back in and just to be on the safe side applied some lipstick incase Anu asked.
Slipping out of the room she met Anu and Jai by the stairs, she could tell he was still sulking.
Anu: good you're done, lets go before Dadi has our heads instead of those popcorn
Dadi: chalo sub aa gaye, aab shuru karo
Massi: kya beeji aap bhi na, aa Bani baith (they had laid comfortores down on the floor against the sofa and everyone was sitting down on the floor we do this all the time when cousins and all come its sooo much fun) she came and sat next to her while Anu took the seat besides Adi
Massi: munna tu wahan kyun khara hai, aa na baith
There was only that one spot next to Bani which was open he went and sat down pulling the blanket over him too (what their house was cold) Bani smiled feeling the slight tug on the blanket, how she want to be in his arms right then and bring a smile to that face.
Soon Jigs came and handed eveyone coffee, and they started the movie all lights turned off, Bani was scared for a sec until the screen projected the light they were watching 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' half way into the movie unknowingly her head drifted to the comfort of his shoulder but as his hands went around her back she jerked a bit as the realization dawned to her position, she looked at him he stared back at her a smile formed on the corner of his lips and was soon tranformed to hers, he pulled her slightly towards him and she let her head against his thumping heart she was eternally thankful that the room was dark. There on neither of them knew what ever happened in the film they were lost in their own world, yes both had drifted off to a happy sleep.
Soon after with the movie ending Sahil got up and turned the light on, everyone stretched and getting up saw these two cuddled up together and burst out laughing
Massi: shh chup sab ke sab quietly
Anu: Massi dekho na they look so cute
Massi: nazar na lagee indono ko
Jigs: Massi hum sub andar chalthe hain, inhe sone do
Massi: haan yahi theek rahega and they all left
It was about nine now and these two were still sleeping, they had decided to order some Pizza for dinner which too had arrived now the thing was who will wake them up
Sahil: kya Massi, itni bhook lag rahi hai aap uthao na Mamaji ko, pehle subah vrat karwa diya aaur ab bhi
Anu: tuje toh har waqt khane ki pari rehti hai, they must be tired
Sahil: tu har waqt mamaji ki tarafdari kyun karti hai?
Anu: Sahil tu
Adi: Anu Sahil that's enough for today sternly
Massi: meh bulati hoon dono ko
Adi: jee
Massi came and lightly touched Bani's forehead 'Bani bacche utho'
Bani: moved a little
Massi: Bani utth ja bacche, she opened her eyes and jerked away from Jai seeing Massi there waking up Jai in the process who too looked baffled they both got up as fast as they could, Bani fixed her pallu correctly 'Massi, sorry woh'
Massi: koi baat nahi, aab tum dono chalo dinner karna hai ya nahi
They both looked at her 'dinner'
Jai: kya baja hai massi
Massi: nau baj rahe hain beta
Bani turned crimson
Neither knew what to say, Massi sensed their discomfort 'chalo abb'
All through the dinner Bani felt all eyes on her though no one said anything, Jai kept them all in check with his looks, knowing well Bani would be uncomfortable.
Bani: Massi kafi der ho chuki hai, I should be going now subah kam bhi hai
Massi: beta bahut raat hu gayi hai, yahin ruk jaa aaj raat, kal Jai tujhe office chor dega
Adi started laughing, 'Massi chor kahan dega dono saath mein toh kaam karte hain'
Massi: Jai tu toh bara chupa rustam nikla
Jai: kya Massi app bhi
Massi: aaur nahi toh kya
Ranveer: per I've never seen Mami there
Adi: umm woh kya hai na
Jai: Adi you've spilled out enough beans to last a century in a day
Adi took his cue and shut up
Massi: beta yahin ruk jaa aaj
Bani: Massi aise mera matlab Massi acha nahi lagega
Massi: kuch nahi hota beta ruk ja
Jai: Massi rehne do, I'll drop her since we're not married yet, and besides I don't want my head chopped before getting married by her brother
Bani: Jai
Jai: dekha Massi bhai ka naam aya toh kasie dekh rahi hai
Massi: cher mat meri bacchi ko
Jai: toh aab meri koi value hi nahi hai
Adi: shaadi kar le bachu phir dekhenge
Jai: Bani chalo I'll drop you
Massi: ek second ruk beta meh abhi aye
Massi came back with two kangans in her hand 'pehli baar ghar aye hai khali haat thori jane dongi' 'beta yeh kangan Krishna keh hain, Jai ke Ma usne mujhe yeh keh ke diye thee ke main uske bahu ko pehnadon, tu teri amant tuje saup rahi hoon' and slid the diamon studded kangans on her wrist. Bani bent down and touche her feet.
'khush reh aaur jaldi se iss ghar mein bahu ban ker apne kadam rakh' Massi
Saying bye to everyone Jai dropped Bani off at her apartment and came back home himself and hit the bed since they were going to have a long day at work tomorrow.
