Vidhi reached the home but she didn’t reacted to any of bimla’s calls . She simply ran to her room and bursted to tears. The pain she buried from yesterday suffocating her. She couldn’t bear the pain she is feeling. She felt like betrayed that finally she realised that he didn’t trusted her. Every time he shared his pain when Chitra emotionally targeted him. But this time he wantedly ignored her.. she know he is in the same city and wanted to be away from her. She know she can feel him…why dev.. why are you doing this? When I am finally started to trust someone in my life and you are doing this to me. Why why? Every time why it happens to only me? She shouted being helpless.
Bimla rushed to the room by sudden shouts and called Vidhi.. . Vidhi looked at her mother and hugged her at once and cried bitterly. Bimla caressed vidhi’s hair and let her vent her pain. After sometime vidhi detached herself and went to freshen up by ignoring her mother.
She laid on the bed to sleep but all the memories flooded through her and again a fear consumed her that what if dev really in some danger? What she expected is wrong and what if Amba mam blackmailed him with something related to his family or any other bigger reason behind dev ignoring her. She is horrified by the various disturbing thoughts. She again dailed Dev’s number in the hope to prove her thoughts wrong but all her hopes got burnt by the switch off message. She trembled with fear and the thought of loosing dev. She remembered dev saying about his responsibilities towards his family and specially his sister/ bacha Chitra.. he can do anything for her. He felt bad for him by thinking his situation of struggling between his happiness and his family’s happiness.All these years he struggled to fill happiness in his family and now if that happiness comes by him sacrificing her.. she would accept that happily for that but she wants him to be happy too. But now that won’t be possible by marrying Amba mam. He won’t be happy without her. She knows that how he becomes a bacha when ever she is around him and how he forgets everything his maturity, his understanding and just tries to make her happy and becomes happy by seeing her. He is always ready to do anything that makes her happy even if it’s hard to do. She don’t know wether she is concerned for him or angry at him for not trusting her enough to share his pain but she came to know that she is nothing without him. She can not live without him. She needed him every minute she breaths.she missed him so much.. she don’t know how she will survive for a week as mentioned by dev. She don’t know how to contact him as he is not allowing her to reach him. She is confused by two contradictory emotions that she is feeling for him….
It’s Next day, a new day with new hopes …
Dev reached the care centre early morning like yesterday and helping the patients…He know that Neela family arrived and they are leaving in some hours.. she heard their giggles and a perfect picturesque family images running in his mind. For a minute he wanted to hold out to hope. Blurred vision of his own family flashed infront of his eyes. His own family he spelled again and his eyes become clouded. He kept his hand on his heart and A smile appeared on his lips with flowing eyes…his mind warned him to atleast now not to do the same like ignoring his numerous apprises being lost in the charm of love that he is longed for entire life. The most worst part for him is He know from the start .. he freaking now ..it’s not happened in just all of sudden like some one showed him the mirror. It’s not like that. His mind clearly knows the after math of the delusion that his stupid heart fabricated. but every time he used to run away from the situation being helpless same like whenever a demand chitra puts in-front of him. In those times he simply searched the ways to hide in a cocoon and relayed on others to escape from the scenario . He is ok to escape the situation at those times because it only related with him self and only about him and he can’t hurt his loved ones becoming selfish.. But now everything is related with Vidhi and her happiness too. So now he can’t afford to do the same that he is habituated to. This time he has to choose between his mind or heart even if it is the most painful thing he had to do ever. He brought back by the sweet, smooth rythemic laugh resonating in the room .He don’t know why he started to feel disturbed seeing their happy family. Everyone is might not that lucky he whispered to himself. Then he chooses to ignore Neelambari and the family . he couldn’t dared to meet her now as he may do opposite to what she wished…. She may think him as coward for not even trying to think about the chances of success of the relationship but it’s best way to avoid the bigger breakdown later for both of them. He defended himself. He is so confused about how to know exactly what he wants? One side he can’t live without her and other side he can’t see her in pain…. He pulled his hairs with frustration…He ignored every time there is a chance to meet the family and make himself busy with other engagements. After sometime he went out to get some items related to natural treatment. He crossed the road after collecting the items he about to unlock the car he saw Neelambari walking on road talking in phone as usual with a wide enchanting smile and failed to see the upcoming truck. By the time dev reached her the truck passes her by hitting her and Dev rushed to her and took her in his arms to check her . He frozed by looking at her as he saw Vidhi in the place of Neelambari. His vision got blurred and he took small breaths.. Pratap who waiting for Neelambari failed to notice the hit. He just see the commotion happening infront of him and came to the crowd .He noticed dev kept the hand on Dev’s shoulder and shocked to realising it as Neela he hurried dev to take her to hospital.
They reached the near by hospital but still dev is horrified by the vision. The hospital asked to pay the money immediately as she needs surgery immediately…. Dev didn’t want to disturb by seeing the devastated pratap he offered his credit card to pay the bill. The operation starts and dev informed Neela‘s son about accident and pratap’s condition. Pratap just sat there as a rock .. he is just staring a spot blindly without any reaction. He is not even crying or showing any other emotion and just sat silently. Dev who observing pratap felt low by seeing his state. Dev went to check on about her condition to nurse came back but stopped by seeing Neela’s children. He stood there little away to give the family the privacy that they needed at this situation . Neela’s sister who came along with the children cried loudly getting caught everyone’s attention by knowing about Neela situation. She turned to her nephew and niece and said dekha. Aapki amma ke sath kya hua hai? Kyo meri behan ke sath hi yeh sab hota hai.. yeh bhagvaan bhi kabhi usko khushi se nahi jeene dega… pehle padhai karne ke umra mein shaadi .. uske baad .. bacha, parivar, grihasthi …sab ka dekhbhaal… sab kuch kia meri behan ne.. zindagi bahut mushkilein khada kar dia unke saamne phir bhi usne himmat nahi haari hai.. sab jimmedari pura karne ke baad tumhare sath padhai puri kia .. tumhare sath apna masters ka exam dia hai usne.. unki Sapna pura karne keliye bees saal intezar karna pada meri behan ko. Jab usse job karne ka socha our professor ban gayi tho mujhe laga ki ab uski jindagi mein vo khushiya vapas aayegi jiska vo sach mein haqdaar hai .. par kya hua.. ek saal hote hi aapki papa ki vajah se vo apna Sapna adhura chodke treatment keliye idhar udhar bhatakti raha gayi vo…aaj yaha usse dekh ke laga ki bhagvan ka shukr hai …ab sab mushkilen khatam hogaya hai our meri behan kam se kam ab apna Sapna puri kar payegi Shanti se… par nahi…dekho unki halat …ab vo fir se hamare saamne aayegi bhi ya nahi ye bhi nahi pata hai… jab uske paas vakt tha tab apni jimmedariyon keliye apni Sapna ko chodna pada .. jab sari jimmedari pura karke apna Sapna pura karne ka socha tho shayad vakt nahi bacha hai uske paas…
Badi maaa…Neela’s son shouted by listening her words…
Mujh pe chillane se kuch nahi hota .. dekho apni papa ko .. meri behan ki jindagi ko barbaad karke kaise Shanthi se baithe hai yaha… isko na koi dard hai ya na koi pareshani dekho…kaise baitha hai pathar banke..…
Badi ma pls aap yeh sab yahi khatam kijiye pls.. hospital hai yeh..
Mujhe pata hai chotu… aisi rishton ka anjaam aisa hi hota hai.. meri behan.. meri choti.. …..unki puri jindagi uss insan ko khush rakhne keliye laga dia uss masoom ne our yeh unko badle mein kuch nahi de paaya…ma, papa, rishtedaar sab bahut samjhaya iss insaan se shadi mat karne keliye tumhari ma ko par uski ankhon mein pyar ki patti bandha hai na tumhare papa ne vo kisi ka ek nahi suni our sab ke khilaf jaakar tumhare papa se shadi kia… ithni choti si Umar mein kya kya dekhna pada mere behan ko…our ab she choked and cried ….
Everyone passed the sympathetic looks to the family ….
Dev got shaken by knowing about the reality of Neela’s life and got devastated by listening that Neela’s daughter-in-law is sympathising with her husband by saying .. dekho jaan papa kithne guilty feel horaha hoga na …. Shayad Kisi se bath karne ka himmat bhi nahi bacha hai un mein…
Neela’s son raged by hearing that and said to his wife .. pls… bhagvan keliye aisa Bina kuch pata hone se pehle koi comment nahi paas karo … tum koun hoti ho papa ko judge karne vale our tumhe kya pata hai .. amma our papa ka pyar ke baare mein our unki khubsurat rishtey ke baare mein…ha…
Dev felt his body giving up and dragged his feeble form to the car . He sat inside and took deep breaths by remembering the horrified view of Vidhi in his arms bruised heavily and the words ringing in his mind… aise rishton ka anjaam aisa hi hota hai…
Khud ka Sapna pura karne keliye vakt hi nahi bacha hai uske paas..
Papa, kithna guilty feel horaha hoga na.. Kisi se bath karne ka himmat bhi nahi hai usmein…..
Dev closed his ears with his hands to stop the words ringing but the voice increased making him traumatised… Dev closed his eyes and rested his head on the wheel to cool down himself. After a while .. dev shaked his head and started to drive to farm house…
Vidhi got ready for office and recieved a call from Abhi.
Abhi sir kya hua.. kuch pata chala sir ke baare mein.. asked while confirming that hp is not in home.
Abhi: Vidhi office ke paas vali bus stop pe tumhara intezar karunga. Jaldi aana.. kuch clues mila hai.
Vidhi said ok and left immediately…
Both reached bus stop and Vidhi seated in side Abhi car and asked kuch pata chala sir..
Abhi: bhai ne directly contact nahi kia vidhi.. par kuch aisa pata chala ki shayad tum jo kaha na kal vahi sach hai .. ek baat tho confirm hua hai ki bhai Indore mein hi hai…
Vidhi: aap ithne sure kaise ho ..asked with shock.
Abhi: bhai ka credit card yaha ki kisi hospital mein swipe hua hai our uska pin BAs bhai ko hi pata hai… our..
Vidhi: hospital.. Abhi sir.. dev ko kuch hua nahi haina.. vo bilkul theek haina…she asked with terror.
Abhi: vidhi.. vidhi.. relax bhai ko kuch nahi hua hai.. agar bhai ko kuch hua tho unka emergency contact list mein ma, our mera numbers hai our almost all people know him in Indore atleast the doctors will recognise him and the pin .. credit card ka..bhai should have said by himself to them right . So he is safe .. ok.. relax… our ab yeh pata Karna hai ki vo hospital kounsa hai our bhai kaha par hai?
Abhi recieved a call from his friend and sighed happily.
Vidhi: Abhi sir..kiska call tha..
Abhi: vidhi.. vo hospital ka naam pata chala hai.. vo Indore ke outskirts mein hai par bhai uss hospital mein nahi hai… mere Aadmi pura hospital ka talash lia par bhaiya kahi bhi nahi hai..
Vidhi … thought for some time and asked sir.. apko Indore mein bahut saare ghar haina.. I mean like a farm house…
Abhi nodded but questioned why?
Vidhi: mujhe sab farm houses ka address message karo aap. Shyam tak main unhe doondh ke laungi.. said with determination.
Abhi messaged her the detailes and said when she getting out from car.. Vidhi.. tum car mein chale jana… bahut dur hai farm houses our main bhi apne Aadmi ko kaha dunga ko dhoondhne keliye… ok ..
Vidhi looked confused but Abhi rushed her.. jao .. jao.. varna bhai hame nahi milne vala hai. Bahut shatir hai vo.. par tum usse bhi jyada ho .. and winked at her… by making her roll her eyes…..
Vidhi checked some of farm houses nearer to the place Abhi’s men checked in some but no clue about dev… Vidhi asked Abhi the exact hospital address and asked the driver to take her to near by houses to the hospital. They roamed for some time and Vidhi felt a difference in the air and asked the driver to go in the direction she says.. she followed her instinct and they are passing many homes and suddenly Vidhi recognised Dev’s car parked outside a house. Vidhi asked the driver to stop and went down and confirmed it’s Dev’s car and without thinking anything ran inside house..
Helpers wife who came to cook saw her and asked her who is she? And why she came inside.. Helper came and said dev sir ki ghar ki gaadi mein aaya hai yeh sir ka koi rishtedar hoga.. haina madam ji .. he asked..
Vidhi nodded and went inside hurriedly…
Vidhi walked through the empty foyer and headed towards the room…. She stopped by seeing the hall decorated with lights and felt like decorated before few days . Some of the dried petals and the few melted candles came to her notice.
Helpers wife saw Vidhi observing the surroundings and said.. do din pehle Saab ne lunch party keliye tayari karne ko bola hai madam ji.. phir achanak kya hua pata nahi.. vo din bahut raat mein vapas aaya our bahut ajeeb bhi behave Kia Saab ne.. sab lights our decorations nikalne ko bola hai.. par vo designers ab Tak nahi aaya…
Helper: ha madam ji.. jab bhi yaha aata hai na Saab bas ghar mein hi rahte the our sirf kaam karte the laptop mein.. par iss baar bahut ajeeb ban rahe the.. Ajeeb sa kapde pehna lia hai our aapko pata hai raat mein baarish mein bheeg rahe the.. pata hai ek pal keliye mein dar gaya tha unko aisa baarish mein jameen pe aisa pada hua dekh ke…maine hi usse room tak pahunchaya…
Helper wife: ha, madam ji.. Har baar mere khane ko bada tarif karte the our puch ke khana banvate the.. our dil se khate the .. par Iss baar ek nivala tak khaya unhone.. jab se aaya Ann ka ek dana bhi nahi chua hai.. vaisa hi vaisa chod dethe the plate ko room mein bina chuye..
Vidhi went inside the room and saw the dresses hanged in different corners of room and checked around to get the clue… she felt a pang in her heart by seeing room and knowing about his sufferings…
Helper: uss raat pura room kithna gandha tha ki .. kapade idhar udhar pura room pada hua tha.. subah subah sahab ko bahar jane ke baad maine hi sab kuch saaf kia..
Vidhi: aapko kuch pata hai ab sir kaha ho sakte hai?
Helper: nahi madam ji.. subah jaldi bahar jate the par vapas kab aayenge vo pata nahi madam ji…
Helper wife: main chalta Hu madam ji.. mere bache ka aane ka vakt hogaya hai… sab khana taiyar hai ji.. kam se kam aaj saab ko kuch khilaaiyega jaroor.. main kal aata hu madam ji shukriya…. and she left. Helper went to drop his wife..
Vidhi came to a conclusion that after knowing everything that dev planned to propose her but why he didn’t showed for lunch and his behaviour at night confused her. She remembered her state at that night and she is worried for dev. Aisa kya hua ki vo aisa react kar raha hai.. na.. khana kha raha hai.. our kaha ja rha hai pura din.. office bhi nahi aaraha hai…
She is in thoughts and waiting for him.
When Vidhi pacing in the room by realising the time she heard some foot steps approaching the room. She went out of the room and walked forward and frozed by seeing dev walking towards the same place where she stood.
She felt relief casacde down her senses on seeing him there. She was scared she'd lost him. She ran to him and hugged him like she'd die if she remained far.
The way she hugged him he had to put in all the effort to not fall back, Dev was taken aback was too simple a phrase to explain what he felt by seeing her there. He just entered the room and Her arms around his back, her face buried in his chest. She held him so tightly. a hug with arms around his chest all the way to the back and pressing him to her self..like assuring herself that he is there with her . Her ear so close to the heart, he was sure she could hear his heart beating crazily by her touch after long time. He forgot everything by this and just feeling only her.
He hated how she was trembling in his arms. He gently rubbed her arms and then his hands went back to her head, keeping her close.
The warmth, the touch, the presence was soothing their tormented and traumatised heart. He couldn’t see her in that state and slowly pulled away, turning other side to her and said casually Vidhi .. tum yaha kya kar rahe ho?
You didn’t think you should may be lift my calls and let me know where you were? It’s been two freaking days and I have been worried sick . and here you are asking so casually why I am here?
all the anger she had controlled to express came pouring out of her in an explosive rant before she managed to take a few deep breaths and gather herself.
sudden gush of pain filled her heart as he did not even turned to look at her. She was waiting. Waiting for him to turn at her. Her vexation was growing.
Dev who got to senses by hearing her rant and remembered the past incidents . He was tantalised by reminiscing the worst view that he had in morning and tried to put up a blank face .
She turned him to face her and Her own heart started to fill with panic as she wondered if something devastating had happened by observing clearly this time the man infront.. with messy hairs.. dry swollen eyes…tired face and that simple oversized kurta with dirt and blood stains.. she never seen him dress like that…
Yeh.. yeh kya haal banaya hai aapne.. kya hua hai .. dev….…cupped his cheeks .. asked…sab theek hai na.. aap aap thik haina.. yeh blood….
Dev held her hands tightly to take her out from panic and said vidhi…vidhi.. listen..main theek hu .. our yeh blood kisi our ka accident hua hai our maine unhe hospital pahunchaya bas…
Vidhi nodded like a child but asked again to assure herself.. sab theek hai na..aap ki ma, Priya mam.. chitra…she stopped as Realisation suddenly dawned on her. she took back her hands and stared blankly at him.
Tum yaha kaise ? Asked dev trying to reduce the akward ness… while maintaining distance.
Vidhi: aap yaha kya kar rahe hain? While observing him. Aapko pata hai hospital ke bare mein sunke main kitna ghabra gayi thi… thank god aap theek hai dev and she about to hug him.
Dev moved back and said dekho .. mujhe kuch nahi hua hai.. everything is fine.. he stammered at the end…. Our tum yaha kya kar rahe ho? Tumhe kaise pata chala ki main yaha hu .. kisi ko iss jagah ke baare mein pata nahi hain.. abhi ko bhi nahi.. yeh jagah sirf mujhe pata hai…our hospital ke baare mein tumhe kaise pata hai?
Vidhi: vo sab chodiye Dev… Ha, main bahut khush hu…aap bilkul theek hai…Vaise aap kuch surprise ke baare mein kaha tha na .. uss din office mein … she signalled by making him remember .. tho socha main bhi surprise kardu aapko….
He remembered her twinkling eyes with excitement and how her shy smile creeped up her lips to her cheeks and finally reached up to her eyes when he told her to wait for his call.. He closed his eyes being helpless.... took a deep breath and opened…
Batayiye.. dev .. aisa kya surprise hai? kuch chupa tho nahi raha hai aap mujhse… said vidhi coming close to him with a naughty expression..
Dev gulped and moved back … aisa kuch bhi nahi hai vidhi… actually I thought to plan a surprise but something urgent came up and I couldn’t do.. and I am sorry I made you wait … said looking side ways…
Vidhi: par yaha ki mahol dekhke mujhe lag raha hai ki aap jhoot bol rahe hai…
Dev stood silent by thinking as he doesn’t know how much she know about this place.
Vidhi understood his dilemma and said … Maine pehle hi dekh chuka hu yeh jagah.. aapko jhut bolne ki jaroorat nahi hai…aap propose karne vale the na .. sach batayiye dev… chitra ke baat janne ke baad bhi aap mujhe propose karne vale the na..batayiye dev.. ha ya na …ek baar meri taraf dekh ke batayiye …. She held his chin and made him look into her hopeful teary eyes .. she is looking with all the love she had for him and a shy /akward smile dancing on her lips…. He felt his breath stop by looking her like that and he is on the verge of loosing his control…
He gently removed her hand which caressing his cheek and took distance and said… nahi Vidhi.. you misunderstood by seeing the decor and the arrangements..
Vidhi felt dejected and came to him angrily… she held his hand and took him to the hall . She asked then tell me what all these.. these dried flowers , those melted candles and she took him to the room and looked at the dresses with a questioning gaze….
He stood there like un affected while looking at the dresses .
Jhoot mat boliye dev.. jo kuch bhi hai mujhse share karo pls… agar chitra se related koi bath hai tho mujhe batayiye.. ham milakar saamna karenge pls.. dev kuch tho boliye.. she pleaded…
Dev : he knows how stubborn she is and she won’t leave this matter easily so he has to do some thing big to divert her thoughts…. He took a deep breath and said Vidhi aisa kuch bhi nahi hai… our main jo surprise ke bare mein bola tha vo proposal vali bath nahi tha… said like trying to convince her.
Vidhi: tho kya tha.. boliye.. she understood that he is hiding something.. mere ankhon mein dekhke boliye dev .. vo kya tha…asked with determination to find the answer.
Dev masked anger and said tum janana chahte ho na.. main tumhe kis liye bulane vale tha.. tho suno..jo kaam adhure rah gaye na.. balghar mein usse pura karne keliye bulana chahta tha main.. ab khush .. maine sab bata dia … and looked side but observing her reaction. He know it hurts her a lot but more than that He is scared by thinking that she may fall into darkness again.
All the colour drained from her face at once.
Vidhi is in think of a conceivable reason for his sudden shift in behaviour….
She waited,gathered herself and took a deep breath before carrying on …
Then what we are waiting for.. let’s celebrate… said without any hesitation…
Dev’s fists clenched so tightly the veins and tendons looked ready to pop through the skin. But his face gave nothing away, was a carefully controlled mask… she observed him…
Dev became angered by listening her words but controlled and said to himself that he clearly know Vidhi is instigating him …
Vidhi.. right now I am busy that’s why I came here to finish the work and you pls leave for now .. we will meet afterwards …..said with last ounce of patience as he himself doesn’t know what to decide after those incidents.. if it’s about family… He would have put everything aside. But the point was Vidhi and The truth was her happiness... He needed her to himself for his survival but he wanted her happiness.. at the same time… He slumped on the bed and hides his face in his palms..
Vidhi kneeled infront of him cupped his face by removing his palms and said.. dev yeh aap nahi hai dev.. yeh aap nahi hai.. I know you well.…why are you doing this to yourself and us!!! It hurts dev ..I know this hurts you as much as it hurts me.. kuch hua hai Dev mujhe pata hai.. I can sense it by seeing you.... pls batayiye kya hua hai.. kisine aap se kuch kaha ? Ya mujhse koi galti hogayi .. pls dev… bolo…
He was scared as he would be rendered weak by her plea… he has to maintain this facade .. for her sake.. she doesn’t deserve to loose the only friend she has…no.. no..he won’t let her know the truth… He gently removes her hands and said.. pls Vidhi.. now I can’t answer any of your questions.. pls.. leave me alone and tum bhi ghar chale jao ..pls....we will talk about this later….
Our kitne din bhagenge dev aap mujhse, khud se , our uss ehsaas se jo hame jodke rakhe hai…… screamed vidhi by loosing the patience that she hardly maintaining from 2 days…..
Dev remained silent by seeing her pleading.. crying…and screaming.. but he thought that It’s a silent battle with himself and he can’t talk about it with her….
Seeing him silent… she felt pained and said dev sirf yeh batayiye.. inn sab ka aapki family ke sath koi connection hai tho main kuch nahi puchunga aage aapse .. Dev you know whatever I have towards you and Those feelings are all mine and if you don't want to feel the same way, it’s ok ..I promise you that I will never disturb you again… and she decided to leave but her eyes caught the flash of the phone and she spelled the name Raj horrifying dev…
Dev grabbed the phone before her hand reach there and cuts the call.
Vidhi asked him why Raj uncle is calling him and why he is not talking with him infront of her. Vidhi got angered by his silence she snatched the phone from Dev.
dev faked the anger and said Vidhi loudly and tried to take the phone from her. The phone fell from their hands after a bit of struggle and a voice note played automatically…
Raj: dev pls.. ek baar mujhse bath karo .. I can explain dev… main manta hu.. jo kuch bhi Ria tumse kaha hai.. vo bilkul galat hai.. par vo bas vidhi keliye concerned hai.. our Vidhi… vo bahut achi ladki hai dev.. vo kabhi tumhare bare mein galat nahi sochega.. Ria ki taraf se main maafi mangta hu dev pls.. koi .. aisa vaisa kaam mat kar mera dost jisse tujhe jindagi bhar pachtana pade .. pls mere yaar… ek baar…
Vidhi who got shocked by listening her name contemplating the happenings she took the phone from floor and paused the voice note…
Dev hung his head low and he don’t know how to react to her piercing looks…
Tho yeh baat hai… jo aap mujhse chupana chahte hai.. mujhe inn sab se koi farak nahi padta hai dev.. koi aapse kuch bhi kahe mujhe usse koi lena dena nahi hai.. main iske baare mein aapse kabhi nahi puchungi.. mujhe bas matlab hai aapse… aapko mujhse problem hai tho bata dijiye… kisi our ki baton ka ya unki bhavanaon ka mohtaaj nahi hai meri py… and stopped by realising what she is uttering..
(but dev is not in the situation to feel her emotions) . hamare bare mein chahe koi kuch bhi kahe but I respect what we have … vo ehsaas… vo longing.. vo har ek lamha ham ek dusre ke sath bitaye mere liye bas vohi manya rahata hai.. koi hamare bare mein kuch bhi bakwas kare usse mujhe koi farak nahi padta hai …
Par usne bas sach bola hai vidhi.. vo bakwas nahi hai… Ria ka ek ek shabd sach tha.. ham sachai ko aise nahi nakaar sakte hai .. vidhi.. manta hu ki maine pehle yeh realise nahi kia par ab mujhe bhi lagta hai ki unki baton mein sachai hai… our kahi na kahi mera andar yeh kashmakash bahut pehle se chal raha hai…

Mera sach vidhi…. Hamari muh modne se yeh sach nahi badal jayega ki main tumhe vo saare khushi nahi de paunga ki jiski tum haqdaar ho.. said dev with a faint smile… and continued.. our hamare donon ka beech ka umra ka faasla… my god… yeh bas mamuli fasla nahi hai vidhi hamare beach ek generation ka fasla hai yaar.. and wiped harshly the lone tear escaped from his right eye. He shaked his head to clear his eyes and said…sach kahu tho I don’t deserve you Vidhi… main tumhe ek aise rishtey mein bandh ke tumhare hathon se tumhari hi zindagi ko barbaad nahi karne de sakta….. main tumhe kabhi kush nahi rakh paunga vidhi… agar tum meri zindagi mein aagayi bhi ho tho bhi jab tum iss sach ko samajh paaye … tab tak kahi sab kuch khatam na ho jaaye …. Vakt kisi keliye rukta nahi hai vidhi… you will end up loosing everything that dear to you just for my sake….And he combed his hairs with fingers being frustrated by this many truths…
Vidhi stood silent looked with teary eyes by thinking that despite of all her pleas all he did was to push her away from him while her happiness was with him. And what bothered her the most is he suffered everything alone. He didn’t trusted her .She wanted to be the hands who caught the pieces when he allowed himself to break but he broked long back , even thinking he gathered all the pieces and now just he is faking that he joined the pieces back but the truth is the broken pieces can’t be fixed same and broken hearts never mend by faking happiness….
He worried that Still she didn’t uttered a word after his constant heart breaking words. He feared to loose the facade he hardly trying to put up infront of her…
Vidhi looked straight into his eyes and said.. aap jo bhi kaha hai sab sahi hai dev… par ek baat mujhe batayiye ki vo ehsaas jo har pal ham ek dusre ke sath mehsoos karte hai vo yeh sab dekh ke ya sahi galat ka calculation karke nahi aayega na.. aap usko kaise rok lenge dev…
Dev gulped with pain by seeing her uttering every word while trembling…..
He closed his eyes hard and opened and said .. Vidhi.. uss ehsaas ko rokna hamare bas mein nahi hai..par uss ehsaas se door rahana hamare bas mein hai na… tho ham dur rahenge… aj ke baad hame ek dusre se door rahana padega vidhi… our koi rasta nahi hai… said to make her close her pleading eyes with pain. hamara milna mumkin nahin hai vidhi… samajhne ki koshish karo pls…. Main kaha raha hu na…Main bada Hu tumse.... our tumhe mera baat manna padega….said making Vidhi furious. Vidhi about to say something but stopped by Dev’s painful plea … main apne khushi keliye tumhara zindagi tabah nahi kar sakta vidhi..ithna selfish mat banao mujhe.. pls… mein iss guilt ke sath nahi jee paunga ki maine khud apne hathon se tumhari khushiya jala dia hai…she furiously nodded no with pain to her pleading eyes…he took vidhi’s hands in his and Ham dost jaroor rah sakte hai.. par.. isse jyada mujhse kuch mat expect karna vidhi… said with letting the tears flow freely..
He apologized in his heart for taking the decision for both of them. She nodded no by understanding his plea with tears pouring out and smiled a little and pressed her lips to control the pain. Both nodded their heads in unison and said only friends while tears flowing nonstop…She touched his forehead with her and both felt the magic of touch for one last time. He left her hands and she stood far from him and left from there …..she is on the last step and both felt the magnetic pull at same time and Vidhi turned to look at him once but instead ran to his arms…. She Hugged him so tight that everything inside him feels squeezed as she will loose this touch.. She couldn’t see his face, but felt his entire being pressed against her . Closing her eyes she is hearing his heartbeat for one last time. Her head is pressing into him more that it could really touch his heart. The hug was too tight. Arms closed around them, squeezing them, pressing together, inch by inch.
Dev felt her press more to himself like she is trying to merge her soul with his and wants to leave like an empty being without any feelings. He couldn’t see her vulnerable with the feel of loosing him the next minut she left him. Dev too felt the same but he is trying to maintain his fake composure for her happiness …He caressed her hairs to bring her to reality. She felt her breath will stop if she leaves him .. she slowly pulled away and raising her toes she kissed on his cheek and said “Thank you for coming into my life” . But got sad by listened back a faint whisper at same time. ” sorry for coming in to your life “ and this time she didn’t dared to turn or looked back……
Only this last sorrowful episode .. pls bear me.. from next you will have awesome ViDev moments ..
