Part 5:
Vidhi’s heart mocked her guts to successfully break dev with her cruelty.she shakes her head to clear her over flowed eyes and in denial of accusation and with shame she hung her head and clutched her heart with pain.
Somewhere inside her, a little innocent voice whispered... But.. but.. he loves you! You love him! It's eternal love, right … Love? You have looked for this love forever, haven’t you? How do you say no to love? The love that you longed for and When no one loves you , he is ready to place his heart in-front of you which means a world to him, how do you say no to this man, to this love which is everything, which gives you HIM to cherish your self by being with him.. didn’t you deserve this love?
She couldn’t think further as the flames of her father words igniting the fear in her. She composed and left before correcting her state and joined with team. She is in an emotional turmoil that she couldn’t think straight .she tried to avoid the thoughts of him but failed and reached home little late.
Hp: aagayi thum.. kyon late hoagy aaj.. dekho mujhe pehle hi yeh noukari.. yeh sab acha nahi lag raha. Iss Akash ki chakkar mein yeh sab karna pad raha hai mujhe. Vaise maine usse bola ki tum Mehta industries mein kaam kar rahe ho.vo bahut khush hai ki ithne bade company mein tumhe kaam mil gaya our usne bola ki beech mein ek baar aane ka koshish karega sagai keliye. Tho yeh dhyan me raho ki sab kuch acha hona hai iss baar koi bhi gadbad nahi chahiye mujhe and left to his room.
Vidhi become pale and dragged her form to the room.while she is battling her emotions Bimla came and consoled her.
Bimla: Kuch nahi huva hai vidhi..kabhi tho hona hi tha ab jaldi horaha hai bas. Aapki papa ke bare mein pata haina hame vo nahi sunega humare baath. isiliye jitni jaldi tum yeh manne keliye tayyar hogi uthna behatar hai. Our Aakash umra mein thoda bada hai ..ha panch , chah saal ka antar hai par vo acha ladka hai , bahut kamata bhi hai our khaskar tum uske sath Dubai chali jaogi .. yaha se dur jaogi. Kam se kam vaha tumhe Shanthi tho milega vidhi. Main chahta hu ki tum bas yaha se kahi our chala jaye jaldi our apni jindagi mein khush rahe.
Vidhi just there and listening to her ma words but nothing she is feeling from inside like someone plucked out her heart and soul and she is just a mere physical form who had nothing to feel.she just laid on the bed feebly. She didn’t shed a single tear even though her heart is lying in pool of blood.

Dev went from there with a heavy heart and just walked into his car without bothering about surroundings like being in a trance he drove to home. He is sulking in the room by the shame of his act while Satya noticed Dev’s room locked from inside felt odd that dev never close his door at this timings and thought morning he is very happy.
She nocked the door and called dev … dev first ignored but by the repeated attempts from Satya he sighed and opened the door. Silence prevailed for some time while dev is cursing himself for his act and wondered why he behave like that suddenly. It’s not him he thought.. it’s never been him. He never thought that he could ever behave like this with a girl. How can he question her. How can he force her to admit something that she don’t want to. How can he hurt her . He will never forget the sight of tear farming in her eyes because of him. He closed his eyes painfully , head bent and held his face in his hands.
Satya who is observing dev come near him and held his shoulder gently and called dev…
Dev who noticed Satya got up and made Satya sit on bed and he sat on floor. He kept his head on her lap and closed his eyes.
Satya caress his hairs and gives silent support to him. She know he won’t open up that much easily.
After some time dev opened his swollen eyes and said dekho ma, mujhe gour se dekho, aapko lagta hai yeh main hi hu.. he is tired to fight with all his emotions and he want to went it out. he want to show his anger, his despair , his guilt, his frustration , his fear , his jealousy that he never ever thought that he has in him and mostly his happiness that finally he got amid all odds. Happiness it comes with a heavy baggage but he is happy with what he is getting.
Satya: dev kya hua hai .. kyon tum aisa bath karahe ho?
Dev: mujhse bahut badi galti hogayi ma, maine jo Kia vo main nahi kar sakta, main.. main nahi hu ma, yeh main nahi Hu ma…I am ashamed of my this self while he kept her palms on his sides of cheek and traced them harshly.
Satya: dev, dev calm down Satya was aghast that she never seen him dev like that infact no one. He never behaved like this. She never seen him broken like that. She placed his head on her lap again and stroked his back to calm him down.
After minute of silence Satya said Tum kya bol rahe ho dev.. kuch nahi hua hai tujhe.. kuch nahi badla hai… bilkul bhi nahi..
Dev :just lift his head with admiration by seeing her love and support. His strong supporter throughout his life. Ma, aap tension math lijiye par bahut kuch badla hai ma, ek aisa badlaav…
Satya: kaisa badalav…
Dev: Ek aisa badalav jisse mein apni puri jindagi bachata aa raha hu … said with smile and peace by feeling her aura around him.
Satya understood seeing Dev’s happiness and her eyes welled up.
Dev wiped the tear that threatened to roll and nodded no..
Satya : main bahut khush hu dev tumhare liye.
Tum sach mein kush ho na she asked with doubt by his earlier behaviour.
Dev: khush tho bahut hu ma, par achanak yeh badalav, yeh jaj batein mujhse sambhal nahi pa raha hai ma, mujhse galti hogayi ma..
satya: kaisa galti..
Dev sat silent by not able to answer her.
Satya: thik hai main kuch nahi puchunga.. jab tumhen man lage tab batha dena…she kept her palm on his cheek and said
our … galti .. insan se hi hoti hai dev.. tum bhi ek insaan ho , tumhare andar bhi saare emotions honge par yeh baat alag hai yeh sab kuch mere nikamme bete ko ab jaake pata chal gaya and laughed to annoy him.
Dev agar tumhe lagta hai galti hogayi tumse tho Jake mafi mang lo beta aisa andar hi andar khud ko kosne ki bajay usse baath karo .. maafi mango, mana le usse… our aage se meri bahu ko jyada tang mat karna..
Dev blushed a little by Satya’s tease.
Satya: yeh tumhare muskurate huye ada bahut acha hai dev vo… Devdaas vala nahi… and she left quickly to escape from his reaction.
Dev felt relaxed after talking with Satya .
Next day dev reached office nd Kanika informed that they have a schedule visit to star agency .
Dev is agin uncomfortable and ashamed of his act how much he try to convince himself he thought today he can’t face her. He know he has to apologise but not today he thought. He sent Kanika alone there. He is pacing in the room and not able to come to a decision whether to go to Vidhi or not and thinking about her state after that encounter.he don’t want to embarass her . But He couldn’t stop himself and called Kanika to know about the situation.
Kanika informed him that everything is as they discussed but one employ is resigned to the job but they can manage as it’s big team.
Dev felt uneasy and he couldn’t talk but managed to whisper koun?
Kanika: vidhi Sharma … to his annoyance. Mobile dropped from his hands and he blinked, his eyes smarting with the gathering tears, his throat closing, his heart clenched like a fist inside his chest.
He tossed for some time between heart and mind and finally closed his eyes and lean on the chair.
Vidhi’s resignation was approved by Yogesh as she joined just a week before and company rules allow her to leave.she removed all the things at her desk and she went to take some of her stuff from store room and thought to left immediately to not make HIM guilty by colliding with HIM.
She is searching for her stuff and she heard the footsteps of someone. Why she is feeling this negative feeling she thought. Found none she started search agin and this time someone entered in hurriedly stand behind her. She turned fiercely and found…..Yogesh there.
Vidhi: sir aap..
Yo: why are you resigning he asked by coming close to her.
Vidhi: it’s my choice sir. Why are you suddenly interested in my resignation.
Yo: interested I am on a girl like you..
Vidhi: excuse me sir.. you are crossing…
Yo:how dare you Vidhi Sharma and he scooted closure looking at her with lust.
Vidhi felt disgust whenever she is around him in the past week but she couldn’t do anything about that.
Yogesh forwarded and Vidhi back stepped and stopped by wall.
Yogesh kept his hands side of her cheeks and nuzzled into her neck.
Vidhi closed her eyes with disgust but thinking to not fall weak in-front of a creep like Yogesh.
Yogesh whispered that tumhara jaisa characterless ladkiyon ke baare mein janta hu Koi our rich and sexy boss ke pass job mila hoga isiliye yaha se jaa rahe ho na.. ithna ghamand haina tumhe jab bhi main tumhare pass aata hu tho kisi na kisi bahane se vaha se chali jate the tum. Aaj tumhe tumhara oukat dikhavunga tujhe and he about to clutch her hair
Vidhi pushing him hard but he is very strong on her. Vidhi hit on his chest and bites his hand that clutched her hair and hitted on his leg with her.
He about to fell down dev clutched his collor and pulled back and about to punch.
Dev who couldn’t stop to think about Vidhi and felt something odd that some one who closed to him is in trouble and left to face Vidhi and apologise to her.
Yo: dev… dekho yeh ladki kaise behave kar rahe hai…
Dev: maine dekha hai Yogesh how are you pounding on to her.
Yo: tum iss ladki ke side le rahe ho dev… aisi ghatiya our character less ladki ke bath par vishvas kar rahe ho..
Dev’s blood boiling with anger..
Yo: aisi ladkiyaan use and throw type hote hain dev.. bloody low class ..
Dev: Yogesh he whishpered dangerously and pulled from his collor.. tumhara yeh bakwas band kar our yaha se chup chap chale jana..
Her breath escaping in panting gulps, her choking sobs rising from her throat, no longer held back by sheer willpower, sheer strength
Dev observed Vidhi and asked Vidhi tum theek ho… but he don’t know that she is slipping into her dark, murky pit.
Yo: wow dev.. yeh Vidhi tho kamaal hai .. aaj tak kisi ladki ko ankh uthake bhi nahi dekhne valethe devvrat raichand ko bhi fasa dia…
Dev: Yogesh .. how dare you!!! He whispered spitting fire through his eyes… but controlled and said dangerously chale jao yaha se our yeh baat kabhi bahar nahi aana chahiye.. varna… he warned with eyes and left him.
Yogesh left and this witnessed by Kanika. she left too with shame and anger.
Vidhi thudded on the ground like a statue and not in her senses. Yogesh words are revolving in her mind character less, use and throw, batchalan ladki .. her sister lying there lifeless and all are blaming her calling her names and accused that she died because she is sinner. All old wounds become fresh agin for her.all voices of that day ringing in her ears.
Dev: Vidhi.. Vidhi tum theek ho .. vidhi.. yaha dekho… vidhi kuch nahi hua hai .. he is whispering and trying to hold her.
her body shaking with the force of her pain, her trembling arms wrapped round herself like dirt and not allow to touch, trying to hold in a loss that seemed bigger than what her heart could contain. Slowly she felt like falling into a deep pit of darkness.she is alone in the endless darkness and vaguely she can hear dev call her Vidhi… Vidhi…
She whispered dev…and immediately he hugged her like a cocoon …
Vidhi whispered no.. no.. dev .. aap jayiye ….a..a..p.. ja…yi..ye……. ya..ha …se …yaha …bahut …andhera …hai .. yeh…andhera ..mere sath ..sath.. aap ko bhi… gher lega….. while pushing him but dev didn’t let her go from his hold and hugged her tightly…
Dev: Vidhi… yeh bas ek Sapna hai.. koi andhera nahi hai.. dekho main hu tumhare pass vidhi… tum bilkul safe ho…
Vidhi didn’t react to his words and whispered like dev.. no.. jayiye.. in a trance while pulling him more close to feel the peace in his embrace still living in her dilussion. She heard Seema call her and said … aaphi batayiye Seema di .. dev ko jaane keliye .. and tried to come out of his embrace.
After a pause dev agin she whispered… she is pulling him more into her being in trance and said aap nahi seh payenge dev.. jayiye yaha se .. her eyes are continuously brimming tears being closed and shaking her head she is seeking his embrace to come out from dark but she is not succeeding.
Dev caressing her hair and whispered BAs Vidhi.. bas..kuch nahi hu hai…try to comfort her in his tight embrace. He couldn’t see her like this broken… like this in a panic state. He realised she is fighting the fear of hurting him . He don’t know wether to be happy that she also wants him or to be sad to see her torn like this fighting with herself to accept him.
Suddenly she is shivering vigorously and said dev…. Mere paas mat aayi ye.. main …seema didi ki tarah ….aapko bhi nahi Kho sakti …… mat aayi ye mere paas.. and she is pushing him..
Dev held her tightly to his chest and kissed on her forehead to stop her shivering…. and patting her back and hairs.
She tried to push him some times and slowly her body stabled but her eyes are still shedding tears…
After few minutes she becomes normal and shocked to find herself in Dev’s arms.
Dev left her silently and lifted her up by holding her feeble form.he made her sit on a chair and left the place to not to feel her embarrass but stopped by the tug at his wrist.
Vidhi: not able to see into his eyes she lowered her head and said I am sorry while watching how her hand creeped from his wrist to palm and how her small hand held his big wide palm. She pressed his palm to give him support.
Dev: I am the one who has to apologise you are not. I am sorry.
Vidhi: No , you are not wrong. I shouldn’t have pushed you to that length. I am sorry.
Dev: nodded no and while watching he brushed her hand that felt like a soft feather slides in to his enormous palm with his thumb pad and asked thum theek ho..
Vidhi nodded her head still in the feel of his gentle,warm , secure hold and the silent assurance of his caress made her heart flutter.
Dev : said can I ask something while cherishing the beautiful sight of their united hands.
Vidhi being silent and stable dev asked..
Why you resigned to job.
Vidhi choosed to be silent at this time to being in his hold.
Dev understood her silence but no one dared to move. Both eyes are cherishing their union of hands Kanika came and called dev.
Vidhi left Dev’s hand and left from there before whispering thank you and glanced at him once with admiration.
Dev: thank you Kanika for managing the situation.
Kanika : it’s ok dev but…
Dev: smiled a little and said life is so small and unpredictable Kanika. Don’t spoil your beautiful life for that bast*. He didn’t deserve your sacrifice and you didn’t deserve to be alone. Pls try to move on .
Dev and Kanika went to the manager cabin .
Dev: Kanika.. make the arrangements …From tomorrow all the fm project employees will report to Raichand industries…. Said with a smirk….
