I concur with RogerRocks- the whole "not telling the father about the kid" is a desi tried and tested formula..this acts as a balancer for the sins committed by both parties.

A- When you use a trope like infertility for a female lead, it is ridiculous how they miraculously show a kid just like that. Ultimately, this is what the story, woman comes down to- the kid.

I for one was writing all sorts of posts on the infetility and handling of it on this show but realized that the makers will show what they want to and social responsibility is not one of them..learnt it the hard way since this is my first Indian Soap only watched mystery tamil serials before this one

B)- Sonakshi was a PhD , a dietician . Now I don't mean to say she cannot turn into a businesswoman but this is beyond stupid that she had to reflect Dev's perception or her take on it and become a "successful businesswoman" . But desi tv.This woman was qualified and could earn a living without goin through the cliches.

This tactic is only for drama sake again how else will they move the story which was going around in circles ..make her a businessman, make Dev a cassonova wonder whether they know the meaning ?..but in real life some one who works very hard can be a biz woman, a straightlaced person can become an womanizer but then will them coming back together ever happen hell no

C- For all it's worth. Sonakshi as a woman, wife went through hell. She should never go back to Dev but coz this is serial, she will. Which is precisely why I feel, Dev should have known about the kid or was informed. If Sonakshi wanted to fight completely parental rights, she should have. Dev could have been a shitty husband , man but a father? That right has been taken away from BOTH Dev and the child. A , 6-7 year old might not understand this but if this would have continued ..wonder what would have happened.

Sonakshi could have cut it all away but gave her child the experience of being with a dad during those formative years. Unless, the guy was abusive to your child and unless he was hindering her from separating, I don't see why this fact was not shared.

Yes this I agree but if they tool a non dramatic route this would be a reality but the makers aparantly told that this was not a documentary so this is what you get

At this point this question and freedom of choice to a 6-7 year older seems to be an emotional trope.

This is a tv show, in the end, this is a start to a new HEA for the 3 but it makes it really manipulative of both the leads. Sigh..will give up in few days when Sona and Dev's story re-starts. Meh.

I have no doubts they will go the cliche route and will show all sorts of inane things because the show has to run and it is all about the money ..so if we are viewing it for social responsibility I dont think we will get any if we are viewing it as a dramatized rom com old wine in new bottle we may get that

For some of us it has become a bad habit that needs breaking 😉

Do they all have to be businesswoman? I think I chose the wrong profession 😆

And it's super wrong about keeping Dev in the dark because yes , they had failed marriage but no where did it came to the point where Sonakshi can draw up a conclusion about the type of parent he would have become. And fair enough it's great to be clear with your kid because she is at that age where now or some time later she will ask Sonakshi uncomfy questions about the dad too?

I am sorry it's not a single woman ki majboori but a need to refresh desi tv format and get this show few more months of air time which means using the kid as the string to continue the relationship. 😆 We will see Dev-kid bonding, guilt glances, angst and finally , they both will be together coz kid.

I watch this show for trolls , sometimes it's pure comedy. 😆

Whatever is in store for future, I do not know. But one thing I can say is even if Suhana ends up with the Dixits due to some reason or the other, she will always be this way, as Sonakshi has brought her up. Her upbringing will teach Dev-Ish some good lessons that in itself will always be Sona's achievement.

The way Sona let Soha do the phone call and how true she always from start till end was amazing. Now dev is intriguing me. When his PA mentions Sona he's very casual, then curious as to how she become this, then that smirk tells me maybe he will parade his various gfs and ruin the party. Will he? And what if Soha is there and sees it. Not a good impression for future daddy.

He still attends meetings and takes important decisions, so he's involved in business but just drop by every once in a while. Vicky still have rs2 wali aukat, his fancy suits can't hide it when his staff goes running to dev who's mia most of the time😆 he didn't even know his own company going in losses wah wah some businessman he is. House scene GKB as usual poisoning a kid against a woman he never met or seen and as usual Elena is silent. Oh why do I even bother with her. When Golu asked if Sona was bad you noticed Ishwari's face? As if asking herself is she? I so hope she is repenting her mistakes 7 years ago. I still hope, damn us idiot viewers.
