Yes, amnesia is one of the most cliched tracks one could take up. But sometimes it is needed. Whatever has happened in that one year, if Dev wants a fresh start, fresh memories... this is the only way. I agree and trust you on this one. 👍🏼

I won't try to predict what is going to happen. I don't want to. I am just going to sit back and enjoy the read. As for your last question at the end of chapter 4... I don't think it's the incident Dev is trying to make her forget. That won't come so soon after her arrival is what I feel.

I liked how you clubbed the show story... took parts of it, changed it to fit into your story and made a new, fresh one. With a three year leap, no less. I am sure you had the outline of the whole fic mapped out in your head before you started out chapter 2 or 3. Maybe not scene by scene but the rough sketch. The way you dealt with his actions / reactions post her injury... excellent!! Nothing OTT. Lovely work, that one!! 👏 👏

Thoroughly enjoyed reading it my lady!! Bring on the next part. Earlier the better. 😉

One request. Post an index of chapters in the first page or list the page number of the next chapter at the end of the previous chapter. Easier for the reader.
