There are very few actors on the Indian Television who have been able to amass as much love, as much adulation and as much appreciation as Nia Sharma has in her career spanning five years! Nia-her name is enough to bring a big smile on the face of her innumerable fans and followers! Her friendly, straight-forward nature, her exuberance towards life, her commitment towards her work and the conviction with which she carries herself is an inspiration for many young girls...Nia has cast a spell through her acting on the hearts of her fans both young and old and while doing so she has added many achievements to her name!!
Nia's acting talent has been applauded right from the time she played one of the most inspiring character ever played on Indian Television that of Maanvi in the superhit show Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain.She was awarded with the diamond studded trophy for the "Nayi Soch Kirdar"at the Star Parivaar Award in 2011 and this character also lead her to win her first ever Best Actress-Desh Ki Dhadkan Award in 2012 from the very prestigious Indian Television Academy (ITA). She has definitely lived up to the award "Lambi Race ki Khiladi" that was bestowed on her by Saas Bahu Aur Saazish (ABP News) because since then there has been no stopping her!! She has been honoured with two awards at the very popular Zee Rishtey Awards 2014- namely the Favourite Saas-Bahu Jodi with Shruti Ulfat and Favourite Nayi Jodi with Ravi Dubey for her portrayal of the character Roshni in her second hit show Jamai Raja. She also won the award for being the Most Stylish Beti (Onscreen) for the very same character at the first ever Indian Stylish Awards 2015! Recently she received her second award from The India Television Academy (ITA) for being The Most Popular Face Of The Year 2015, adding yet another feather in her list of achievements!!
Apart from this Nia has walked the ramp quite a number of times starting with her debut walk for designer Neeta Lulla's Shehnai Collection at JW Marriott, on March,2013 and since then her flirt with the fashion continued as she walked the ramp once again at the IIJW,with utmost elegance and poise, for a social cause "Beti"during Gitanjali Gems Show, on August,2013 and once again in 2015. Her elegant and sizzling personality was captured through the lens, during her photoshoot for ZING magazine of India-Forums.com in Decemeber 2012 and she became a part of the photoshoot for the India-Forums Calender in 2013. She has also featured in the Telly Calender 2014.
Along side her incredibly natural acting skills,Nia's sense of style and her oomph factor has made her regularly appear in the Sexy List where Asia's Top 50 Sexy women are featured in London's famous People's Magazine conducted by Asjad Nazir.She was the first television actress to be ranked as the 5th most sexiest woman in Asia in 2012 and she followed it up by appearing at the 11th spot in 2013 and 7th in 2014!
Even after accomplishing so much and that too at such a small age, Nia has often been seen stating that to her, the most prized possession is the immense love and adulation that she is bestowed with by her fans and that shows us how humble Nia is as a person and its this particular trait of hers coupled with her talent that is always going to make sure that she remains blessed with success,love and happiness!!
