'Mujhe kisi se s*x nahi chahiye': Akanksha Chamola opens up about bisexuality, now identifies as ASEXUAL

Television actor Akanksha Chamola has made another personal revelation on Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, days after confirming that she and actor Gaurav Khanna are heading for divorce. During a recent conversation on the reality show, Akanksha said she currently identifies as asexual, explaining that she no longer feels interested in physical intimacy.

The discussion began when fellow contestant Varun Yadav, also known as Laila, asked whether she would consider getting married again or remain single. Responding to the question, Akanksha admitted, "Mereko dar baith gaya hai."

Laila then asked if a person's sexuality could change over time. Sharing her perspective, Akanksha replied, "Sexuality aapka change hota rehta hai, aapke phases ke upar hota hai."

Speaking about her current state of mind amid the ongoing divorce proceedings, she said, "Ab mera divorce ho raha hai, abhi mereko kisi se sex nahi chahiye. Mujhe ladkiyon ke sath bhi nahi chahiye, admiyon ke sath bhi nahi chahiye." She further explained, "Alag phase chal raha hai, isko bolte hain Asexual."

When Laila asked whether living without a partner automatically makes someone asexual, Akanksha clarified that, in her case, it means she has no desire for any physical relationship. She concluded by saying, "Main completely Asexual ban chuki hoon."

Earlier on the show, Akanksha had also shared that she identified as bisexual before her marriage and said Gaurav Khanna was aware of her sexuality. According to her, he had accepted that part of her identity during their relationship.

Akanksha has also stated on previous episodes that she does not plan to remarry after the divorce. She said she wants to experience living independently and focus on herself instead of entering another relationship.

The actor announced her separation from Gaurav Khanna during the premiere episode of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa. She revealed that they had mutually decided to end their marriage after living separately for nearly a year, adding that there was no bitterness between them and that they had different expectations from life.

Responding to her announcement, Gaurav had said his respect and support for Akanksha remained unchanged. During his appearance on the show, he told her, "Legally you are still my wife and I am still your husband," while maintaining that he wanted the separation to remain respectful.
