wat is the role of male characters in the show???

i never thought i will make this post on any forum ! a story is always about a girl and a boy ...their love their hardship their track their family maa papa saas sasur devar bhabhi are important but they are side characters add up the spice in the story !

but here i dont see a story of girl and a boy how is diyaa and baati in show sandhya and bhabho ???? wat and how is sooraj a bystander

this show has plethora of talented actors like Anas a polished actor Gautam ( who has won accolades internationally Varun his potential was seen by a maker and he is doing a movie bhabhasaa (sorry dont know his name ) but has seen him in many movies ! and now the recent addition neil bhatt !

inspite of having these talented actors i only see them standing on the queue giving the mute expression every day !

looking at the new promo my hopes are dashed the new track again is focussed on sandhya and web bhabho is with sandhya sooraj's contribution goes unnoticed ! again there is no track for sooraj my actor zakir leave alone other male characters !

CV why you brought so many male characters in the show wen they have nothing to perform ?

It's a serial, it is going to go on for years. So, it's obvious that there are going to be different tracks focusing on different characters at different points of time. It is also a known fact that serials are mostly more female centric shows unless they are something like Mahadev or Prithivraj or such shows with strong male characters.

I disagree that male lead of DABH is non-performing. There has to be a reason why Sooraj is so loved. He has had his share when the story has demanded. Even in the last few episodes, he was the one who made Bhabo realize that it was his mistake. In fact, the character of Sooraj has had a meaty and meaningful role compared to many other shows that have gone ahead to be telecast for almost 3 years. I actually tend to think that Anas has got himself a great role as Sooraj. It's not easy to get such good male lead role in the female centric TV show era.

As far as other male character goes, they are all "supporting" characters. supporting characters means that they won't have as much screen-space as the leads. Babasa and Mohit characters have gotten pretty good screen-space. I think, with Gautham, even he prefers to play a cameo since he has so many other commitments.

that s the limitations of the CVs

yet I would say they r doing what all they can with the male characters

Yes i kinda agree , Males Characters has Nothing to do in almost any show Exception for Shows like Mahadev and MahaRana Pratap still there also u see Woman Power

Stories are of Different Kind Love-Hate , Saas-Bahu , Sisters show.

In TV Stories are said from a Female Prespective and Mostly they are Female Centric.

It goes same Not only in Hindi Soaps in any Regional Language Soap World

Would like to see more of Suraj in upcoming episodes. Though, soaps are female centric, characters like Suraj are much loved by female viewers. So, he should be given more screen space and meatier roles. Initial success of of DABH was due to both Suraj n Sandhya. Not sandya alone. The appeal was mainly due to how they both supported each other through thick n thin. That made DABH the number one show.

sorry but i disagree i am watching the show since january and its almost half a year i havent seen any track tht focus on sooraj or vikram or bhabhasa its only about sandhya or bhabho the side tracks are on chavi emily or kavita where is the scope for male performers ! i dint compare them with any show but since u are mentioning the other shows i am watching almost every show in the tv and i dont think so tht sooraj character is substantial compared to other shows take for example JA YHM YRKKH beintinhaa EHT Do dil bandhe yaa every show is woman eccentric but not to the extent this is turning out to be ! i have watched old epis and i dare say tht sooraj character hadmuch more [pottential before their SR night after it seems like they have lost it !

no they are not doing wat they can do ! sooraj seems too engrossed with his wife's job it looks like he doesnt have anything to do except iron her clothes deliver the lunch salute her take her jeep for the pleasure ride ! where is his pride his honor his career his ambition his difficulties his thought process !

there can be innumerable plots tht could focus on sooraj all they need is think from sooraj POV too !

i have already replied in one post i repeat i have seen lots of woman based shows where lead have powerful role to play !

how come sandhya won an award and sooraj not even in the nomination list clearly he doesnt have much to do here

i only demand good track for sooraj and other male characters its pain to watch such talented actors getting waste for nothing !
