Great Depiction of Punjabi Culture

I just want to give the makers of this serial props for depicting a very real Punjabi culture. One of the reason's I love this serial is that it never goes over-board with it's stereotypes. I feel like they've made this serial very realistic compared to a lot of the other serials and that is why we love it so much. I respect this serial a lot. I don't want to diss out any other serial, but I've seen other serials where they depict Punjabi's as drinker's etc. I really am glad that they show an accurate depiction of what Pind life is like.

They show how rural communities like Pinds have people with the same morals, culture, out-look on life, and how tight-knit they are together. For example when Veera is told it's not okay to hug a boy-friend in the Pind, or when Ranvi took Gunjan to that forest area and he was told that's not okay in the Pind; that is very accurate to the rule's of a Pind. I'm really glad they didn't go a long with the stereotyped Punjabi image, that Punjabi's love to drink, party, be loud, and are rude.


Also I think the characters are very realistic as well. Even Bansuri is a very realistic character. I respect how they respect Punjabi's people's values and culture. It's nice to see one serial that's got it right. I hope this serial lasts a very long time, and never ends I love it so much!

i think the entire pind set up is the best thing in the show.. moreover they are not stuck to just one place in every scene.. like in some shows we forever see just one bunglow or house.. but here we get a lot of out side scenes plus multiple houses.. so it is very refreshing to watch..

I am quite new to Indian TV. Also I am not of Indian origin. The first Indian TV show I followed was IPKKND. I have glanced at a few other shows here and there including EHMMBH and now I watch Qubool Hain and Saraswatichandra.

Yeah I totally agree that's what sets thus show apart 😉 there are no other characters no heavy makeup jewelry nor dragging tracks! Everything is kept realistic and the true essence of pind is kept! I think the cvs have put in a lot of hard work in this show and portraying its so superbly 👏 .. All the backgrounds and location are wonderfully shot and there is freshness in this show ⭐️ .. After ages I am liking a show thanks to the entire cast crew of veera

I also wanted to add that I really like how they respect all the different religions in this serial. I know it's main focus is Punjabi's but I like how they still respect Hindu's, and Muslims. It is needed for them to do this in serials, because people of many different background's watch this show. I really like how they don't over-do it or show to much about a religion to where it can become ignorant or wrong but they do it in a right way, where theirs no complaints.
