^ They should've written off both. I would have loved to see Archana without her toxic family around, where she raises her daughter on her own while finding her independance. That is how it should've been done. I am sick of Sulochana and those values she proudly flaunts around, she has ruined Archana's life enough.

viram and mandy , Sulo has not been bumped off coz they want the fight between the two old ladies to continue

Its as much important to the show as the ARMAN romance

btw I don't want to offend anyones feelings etc and I am not going OTT either in my Archana hate , I simply wanna state this so CVS read us if they peep in ...

It looks very ODD that after 20 years , at 50 , Archana is still thinking like a teenager about Manav's breath on her face and remembering his hand on her waist etc . Its extremely CHILDISH and immature . She is not 16 . After what she has gone thru ...losing her children etc , her mind shud be shown on another level ...saddened , wisened , more MATURED . Rather TIRED . Of all the blows that fate dealt her . Two dead children SAP the estrogen .

Oh by all means show ROMANCE as the USP of the show but carry that romance up to a different level . As age changes , concepts of love and romance ALSO change . Do not show a 50 year old acting like a teenager or a girl in her early twenties , reminiscing about honeymooning moments or physical titillation .

So Sorry but had to speak my mind . I apologize in advance if I offend .

Kools you took words out of my mouth...My thoughts exactly when I wrote my post b4...I just did not say it outloud...The first thing Archana remembers on that particular day as it is their anniv is Manav's hand on her waist, than blowing air on each other's face...She does not even think how she has lost 2 kids already and twins are with Manav...
@ 50 and your manopause yrs one gets hit with bit of depression on top of some health issues..Lack of estrogen and urge to be on physical terms..
Her 6 yrs of marriage and calibacy of 20 yrs she is still thinking abt Manav on that level..Kind a hard to believe...People usually move on...You do remember but that is not the only thing one does.
EK wants to show a 50+ yrs old woman like estrogen bursting 20 something than all power to her...

hi kools,
loved the post. exactly what i was thinking.. like people, i feel emotion shud also mature.. at the age of 50+ showing that scene it was a little awkward, i m not saying that romance ends after 50 or 60. the feelings n emotions change. from the physical level, it shud expand to the emotional as well as spiritual level..
just my opinion/... was not trying to b harsh on any1..😊

Evening tide everyone!

So I will try not to analyse the storyline so far, after all it's a "fresh start". Not to mention, these CVs might give my 17 year old brain an aneurysm with their "intelligent logic". I will say that I completely agree with Kool di on the romance levels.

As usual, Ankita's acting was a pleasure to watch. She really has come a far way from that first epi in 2009. her expressions really involve you in the moment. I rather enjoyed that imperceptible moment when she raised her eyebrows when Sulochana ji stopped her. And the way she portrayed quiet rebellion in response to her mother's statement.

Enjoyed seeing DK in his new avatar, distinguished , handsome looking gentleman who has learned to appreciate the emotions of those around him. It's such an irony that he became more of what Manav was.

Manav being portrayed as a loving, involved father is a delight to watch. Hiten is beginning to fit into the role of Manav very well (but I still miss Sushita!). The children are portrayed as a bit spoilt, but we acknowledge that this may have been due to the family trying to over-compensate for the loss of a mother's love.

Savita ji and Sulochana ji should have matured by now. Why are these 2 elders teaching youths to think negatively of their elders, even worse, their own parents? That was what really bothered me today. Romance we can live with, but such hypocritical morals passed on to those children is wrong.

Over all, it was a great performance by the MOST of the cast. Kudoos to Ankita, Hiten, and DK!!!

(Oh btw, the age in relation to Ankita and Manav isn't all that bad. I'm 17, my mother is 38 and she looks young enough to be my elder sister, you can barely see her grey hairs peeking out😉. Same with the mothers of some of my friends.)

hope its not off the topic,
read about archana looking younger than the kids. true, but she s not the 1st BT female lead to look younger than the kids, and she wont b the last either.. and if sulo & savita look the way they r, why cant archana.. i thought they shud ve taken some kids looking younger. was not impressed by any1 of the younger ( on screen ) lot , i m afraid
as for manav, the daughter looked nothing like a daughter. if they r going to show the girls jumping on daddy, just to show that they r his pets, then its going to b hmmm... i cant say more..
teju is still ok, though she doesnt look 19. what about ovi, i found her very plastic... unless she is an awesome actor, i dont know why she was chosen.. sorry , to her fans ..

Kool no offense taken, I like the romance aspect of the show but not when the leads are written so poorly. I don't like that Archana is still shown pining away for Manav, its been 18 years! After everything Archana has been through pining for Manav should be the last thing on her mind.

Sulochana continues to show her hypocrisy, isn't this the same woman who cried bucket of tears despite the fact Manohar abandoned her? The last thing she should be doing is judging Archana. As much as I hate the fact Archana is still pining for Manav, at least she doesn't carry around this hatred in her.

Here's one thing I don't get, Satish knew about the plane ticket right? So in all these years he and Archana haven't talked? I guess Satish has been written out of the show otherwise it makes no sense.

The CVs continue to make Archana's love for Manav overpower her love for her children. I don't understand why, if they can show Manav loving his children and putting them ahead of his love for Archana then why can't they do the same for her? Isn't Archana supposed to be human? Isn't she supposed to hurt? Why only make those emotions specific to only Manav?

Thank u so much Mandy , poppy , Kittya and others for not misunderstanding

I do not like the stupid crudity that Ekta's CVS show so thoughtlessly

Neither r they showing Archana Maturing nor Savita

Savitas comedy too is purposefully kept crude

Mandy I too did not Like Sulo's ungrateful talk

So Archana Manav seperated , ok

But even then Manav has done a lot for her , much more than her children have

Varsha NEVER helped her financially inspite of doing job

Archana at that point was NOT doing job

Vinod had taken her house away from her

Vaishali was herself dependent on the bigamist's riches for a comfortable living

Manav offered rewards for her when she was missing

Gave her costly presents when he became rich

Kept her in his house for months at the cost of offending his mother

Bought her house for her by putting lifes savings at stake

A person gotta be loyal to the salt she has eaten

Even dogs r more loyal than this honestly

In Archana Manav Split , 90 % of the things were done by Archana

Sulo never reprimanded her or told her even once to give her marraige priority

She acted as if Archana had a point

Savita has done many many wrong things but there was nothing wrong in two things she did

Telling Sulo that I will support my son and I want to see him as a big builder , to hell with the world

Enjoying Manav's wealth and status instead of cribbing about it and reminiscing about the good old poverty days

Savita has seen the worst side of poverty and does not like it

Where she goes wrong is in splurging money etc , but her distaste for poverty and wanting the good life or better conditions is something I cannot criticize

I wud have preffered if Sulo had sharply pulled Archana up and told her to stop being silly and support Manav in rising high instead of pulling him down by tying him down by court cases

The real fact is Manav flourished financially the moment he got away from Archana and The Karanjkar family . Emotionally he may feel a void but he rose financially and it was high time .This is now a FACT in this serial .
