So Mona's parents were insulted !!

Hate yesterday's episode !
Gandhi family , Ambaji and most importantly stupid Mona insulted her own parents.
I'm sorry but who is that lady 'ketki ben' ?
How come she became more important to Mona than her own parents ?
Parents come first , she shouldn't forget , she's 'Bedi' first and then Gandhi.. How can she not call her parents ' mon dad' just to please Ketki ben?
Questions were raised here on forum when Daarji/Gurnaam were insulted by Hetal , I think the difference is Hetal was arrogant, but even if Mona wasn't doing purposely/arrogantly , this is almost same what Mona has done , I would say she's gone further ahead by " insulting her own parents" !

Many if you might not agree but in case if you agree, please right to
response@zeenetwork.com and request on not showing such things in future.
The script writers need to change on this show, high time !

There is no excuse for what hetal did however she is the outsider and has known the family for a few months and does not love them at all. But how can we expect her to be nice and respect them when their own kids insult them and not ready to acknowledge them. Karan is useless so no point in expecting him to do anything but mona, seriously. The whole acting Gujrati was fun in the beginning but then it just crossed all the lines. One think i dont get even vimmy and satnam were ''like'' parents to mona who is ketki ben to insult them when they come to wish their ''like'' daughter diwali and bring gifts for them. Is that how we behave with guests. suppose they werent even related and were just neighbors is it justified to insult them and kick them out of the house in diwali when they are there with genuine feelings and good intentions and brought gifts for the entire family. It was so rude when everybody just resumed their pooja and the guests were left standing alone. Satnam kept trying to make things better but ketki wouldnt hear any of it. And the line ''go pray to ur Raba or something like that'was totally insulting and uncalled for.

What happened ? ... i missed the episode ... This sounds truly awful ... What did the sanskaari Gandhis do now ?

I dont think abybody will be mad if she acts alittle gujariti when u stay with people for a long time you kind of pick their habits. I love mona's punjabi acting and it is alot of fun. I dont expect her to turn into a ketki maasi or another ambaji. People are mad because she is not acknowledging her heritage and where she came from. Ketki massi does not like punjabi's and that is why she made herself Gujarati and is not standing up for her culture. she should be proud to be punjabi because you cannot change where you came from no matter what. Second, her parents were insulted to the core in front of her and she kept her mouth quite and then acually kept pushing them until they left her house in diwali. Is it really funny to call your parents stranger to please a far relative from your sasural. It was funny during the dining table and when she was figuring out how to pray and the name ambaji picked for her father but insulting your parents, not acknowledging them and kicking them out of your house for whatever reason is just plain wrong.

Fantasy , I am with u , I am trying to enjoy this Ketki track . I hope bijal Hetal r given good by this character I am amused and indifferent but I can understand where the others r coming from ...

The CVs do NOT portray Mona well . For instance , during aarti , simple thing she did not know that kumkum has to be first put on the Ganesh idol , then the Devi Idol

Its common knowledge that before the pooja of any God , Ganesh is worshipped FIRST .Surely after staying for so long in that house she shud know it ?

Then they show scenes where she defends the Gujratis saying WE Gujratis We Gujratis which is kinda overboard ...as she is NOT a Gujrati . Its very nice indeed that she is trying to accept that culture but it can be done in a way in which she remains proud of her roots and expresses a tremendous respect for her husbands culture too . Why go so overboard ...in the ignorance or in the acceptance ?
