I was so upset when geet said to maan that u dont love me anymore. I mean how could she even think for a second that maan, MSK doesnt love geet anymore. This was the most hurtful line for maan which he couldnt bear up and then he yelled at geet. and geet how can she not read Maan's eyes. it was so in pain.

hope geet understands her mistake today and say sorry to him

I personally don't favour any of them, neither Maan nor Geet. I feel pity for both of them for not being able to know how to deal with the situation.

We, as the viewers think and say that, why can't she/he say or do this or that? But we don't see the depth of their characters.

Maan and Geet are two different characters like the rest. Though they love each other (sorry, I cannot judge who loves more) they are stick to their personalities which I don't want to see them to change. Even if they want to change also they won't be able to do so.

Maan is a loner, he won't share anything with anyone, and he is a man of actions rather than words while Geet is the opposite. So we have seen the difference, Maan kept quiet while Geet burst out everything.

I don't want to blame Geet or Maan for the action. We, the audience are aware of the reason behind Maan's behaviour, but Geet has no clue about it. She knows and believes that Maan loves her, may be that's why she wanted to know the reason...what else a newly wedded wife could think that her hubby is distancing himself from her since after the marriage???

Maan was hurt, we have seen the pain...so as usual he brought out anger to cover up...

Maan's dialogues....

he made Geet K family bahu, gave her name, wealth....so and so.

the same thing Geet has asked before marriage...the cause of a previous MU....she asked, for which Maan didn't answer then, so what could be the after effect of it now?

If Geet comes to know the truth from the doctor she will feel guilty for doubting Maan's love...but the words spoken could be a barrier between them.

For conclusion, all I can say is that both Maan and Geet were the victims of the situation...Men keep things to themselves while women let things out....It is not because they doubt each other's love or it isn't because of lust that Geet questioned Maan.

Beautiful explanation for the reason behind Geet's over reaction even though she knows in her heart Maan could do no wrong towards her.

"Blinded by her own fears, desires & unable to comprehend the depth of the reason for his actions & his love for her .... she reacts. She assumes 'all love lost' in between them .... and she confronts him....blames him of having changed."

The reason behind Maan's outburst comes to light so well in this paragraph

"All his hopes that she will trust him , understand him unconditionally as he does, crash to the ground into millions pieces , he looks at her searches her eyes for a single spark of trust she might have for him to hold on to it for his own sanity of mind , he finds none , nothing but questions & glaring accusations"

You have beautifully explained the pain of Maan. Whenever Geet need something Maan is always there, but most of the time when Maan need some emotional support or believe, most of the time Geet failed to show trust and believe. How she questioned him about love ? He has already proved so many time before.

Really Maan is in double pain. My heart is went out for him. He is emotionally weak, Geet has just seen this during Sangeet. She has to understand that something is hurting him.

Once again thanks for your wonderful post, because most are blaming Maan.
