surname confusion back to square one

few weeks back, i have posted my confusion @ surnames basu Vs ganguly in this forum....

none of us actually understood who that basu was....n 2day a bit of mystery behind basu got cleared

athidi, the guest cum sekhar's frnd's surname is basu....onu mentions him as 'basu uncle' to taani


n the confusion re-begins here..... so how come taani has become taani basu
onu has changed his surname as he is going to stay with his basu uncle for the nxt few yrs (my assumption)??
or usual Ekta's mis-match in marriage with Mr.basu's son?.... for some lame reasons


or ekta forgot her first episode @ taani introducing herself as taani basu??

i know, when HC n AK are entering the show....this is all so useless to think of......but it being ekta's show, nothing is certain except for the love between the leads despite of whatever
this whatever includes anything n everything n most importantly marriages too which is linked with surnames 😛

Taani as per first epi is Anurag;s wife she herself said it thats all i want to see ... Taani basu in first epi was a blooper i guess because initially Anurag was supposed to have Basu as his sir name but later they changed their mind and made him ganguly but by that time first epi was already shot hence Taani Basu 🥱

For now we know Taani is onu's wife and I m happy with the fact till they reveal other things

Taani married someone else coz Onu ditched her and later he realised his mistake hence the mad-house 😆

Onu is in asylum because he will realise he did wrong with Taani and will get ditched by the other girl not because Taani married someone else but because he fell for someone else ... and Taani herself said Anurag merey patti hien ... what is left after that?

If I'm not mistaken, I think that shop mortgage guy that came to Laboni ma's house called her Laboni Chaterjee?

since 1st episode m tryin 2 solve d tani basu puzzle.. i tot later she gets married 2 subodh may b it cud b a mock marriage but den dey shwd subodh as bhattacharya.. b4 dat i assumed as they had decided basu surname 4 anurag.. it cud b a mistake or tani "basu" is d son of basu uncle who was shown yday or it can b entirely new character..

There is always bloopers in Ekta's serial to confuse everyone.

Anurag was supposed to have Basu as his sir name initially later they changed it to Ganguly thats how

Ummm when Taani said she is wife of Anurag, i think she was talking about one very important aspect of the story, i really can't think they will make her say only to confuse viewers 🤔
