The story of Nala and Damayanthi has always fascinated me. As I remember, my father told me this story in my childhood. I will share with you people. Later, as I grew upI realized, it has a real message for our life.
Nala was master of all Skills. He was famous for his cooking skill, horse riding and mathematical calculations.Even todayit is prevalent when one cooks a delicious recipe people refers it as "Nala paaka"."Paaka" means recipe and Nala means "Nala" like. Damayanthi was the most beautiful girl and pricess of Vidharbha. Also, she was daughter of Bhima Sena. That is why this story is a sub plot in Mahabharatha. Damayanthi falls in love with Nala at first sight. She wanted to marry him in Swayamwara. In spite of many tricks from cunning Indra and his associates, she ends up in winning Nala. They both get married.Their romance was at pinnacle and the pair was famous for their love. Later their romantic married life went through lot of hardship and finally prevailed over the evil.
The trouble started when the Kali (Shani) was instigated by cunning Indra that Damayanthi has rejected him and chose Nala over him. Kali took a oath to destroy Nala. Shani took over Nala and Nala ended up in forest. Both Nala and Damayanthi lead a difficult life. Nala who was totally in love with his wife Damayanthi couldn't see her in pain. He realised that Kali won't leave him so soon. He knew that the pricess is going through pain because she loves him to the core. He was sad that he had to put her through sorrow only because of his fate. He decided leave Damayanthi for the sake her safety and her better life.Thus a truely loving couple got separated.
Damayanthi reached her mother's sister's house and tried all possible ways to look for Nala. Nala reached Ayodhya (I think) kingdom and started living as a manager of horse stable. Every day and night both husband and wife were longing for their spouses. Their love grew stronger as their pain of separation grew.

Why am I telling this now?
Looks like CB is headed in this way. Like Nala and Damayanthi, both Dev and Radhika are poised for leaving separately. May be within same building like PB or may be at distant like Delhi and VR. Thier romantic life has been attacked by Shani Vishaka. May be Radhika will deject Dev for the betterment of Dev.
We were all predicting "when" will Vishaka turn negative and today was the answer. I think we are going to see Nala Damayanthi separation, longingness and love in Dev and Radhika in coming days. When Kalishadows the mind, people act weird. That's what happened to Radhika also.
By the way, this is the reason people don't name their kids Damayanthi or Sita. Parents fear that their girl will also end up in spearating from her husband and has to live the life of hardship.
