anandi tells sumitra that she is taking snacks for niranjan. Sumitra is worried cos niranjan is in gehna's room and is relieved that maasa is not in house. maasa comes to the house and shouts for basant. She tells sumitra that the jeep broke down so she cldn't go for pravachan. Basant comes there and is also shocked seeing maasa. they try to take her back for pravachan but she insist that she will rest for some time and then go.
maasa sees anandi bringing down the tray. Anandi is abt to tell abt niranjan but sumitra cuts in n says she took food for gehna. basant sends sumitra to gehna's room on the pretext of taking a file.maasa starts praising the swami who is giving pravachan.
sumitra is trying to keep niranjan in the room by involving him in some convo. niranjan says that basant might have got involved in some work , so he decides to take leave. but sumitra stops him. both gehna n niranjan look doubtful at sumitra's behaviour. gehna then requests niranjan to sing a bhajan, but sumitra again stops him n says him to sing bhajan when maasa is also present. maasa starts shouting for sumitra and start going towards gehna's room. sumitra immediately starts searching for the file and comes out just as maasa is abt to enter the room. she gives the file to maasa and takes her from there. niranjan looks at gehna and gehna looks uncomfortable.
basant takes maasa for pravachan. swami is telling that life is not just abt gaining but also loosing. he continues advicing abt sacrifice and giving things to others. basant thinks to himself. niranjan tells that whatever happened today was not right. he says that he knows maasa doesn't like him comming but he came only bcos basant insisted. sumitra asks for forgiveness but niranjan says that it is not her fault. he shld have taken care. niranjan takes leave. gehna looks on from upstairs.
RS is having lunch. he tells his wife that shyam n madan have work, so they wldn't be able to come for lunch. he asks her to send lunch for them. A doctor and nurse comes to their house and tell that govt have send them for free checkup of pregnant women. RS's wife takes them to suguna's room. asha sees RS giving money to the nurse. doctor check suguna and says her BP is low and that she will give suguna injection for hemoglobin. asha comes near the door and shows suguna in sign language, not to take the injection. suguna stops doctor and says that she will take injection only when shyam is present cos he takes care of all her medicines. RS's wife asks doctor to come in the morning when shyam wld be there at the house. doctor is upset that her work cldn't be done but leaves from there.
