Looking for 'unusual' voice ? what?

When Mentors say "You have an unusual voice or a different voice" What do you think they mean? Is it politely saying that the voice is not sweet enough or the voice sounds other than human?😆 They also claim they are looking for voices they can use.

Reality music shows have been miked to the last drop..So,nown they are talking of unconventional voices.Trying to be unconventional in judging.Finally,they will come round to selecting "normal" voices.

the term "unusual" generally has a negative connotation, so when i hear "unusual," i don't take it as a compliment.

"different" and "unique" could perhaps be taken as compliments.

I don't know how sincere they really are about it, but the idea makes sense. With so many music shows on so many channels, people will get bored of listening to dozens of Sonu clones or Shreya clones, so they're looking for a new voice that is different from the existing singers in bollywood. It's not a bad idea, but the "unusual" voice should at least be pleasant. I've heard many unusual voices before that I would rather not hear. 😆

Yup shehzaadi ..i agree with u ..between an unusual voice with beekhre hue sur ( i can name them in this contest too but won't 😆) and a normal voice with perfect sur and melody ..I'll surely pick the latter ....😃....

The term unusual should not have been used in the first place because it is more synonymous with unconventional or strange.

I think what they meant to express was unlike any other heard before the term original is better suited here.

when i was creating my account, i couldn't think of an id. i was literally saying to myself "ummmmm," so i decided that "ummmmm" would be good enough :)
