The term unusual should not have been used in the first place because it is more synonymous with unconventional or strange.
I think what they meant to express was unlike any other heard before the term original is better suited here.
Yes sometimes they do run out of adjectives. Perhaps they should use some "Hindi" words rather than saying "Superb, Fantastic, Mind blowing, Fantabulous"," Better than the original", "Best performance of the day", .
At least Sureshji said , "If I had my own company I would sign you on straight away"😆
Or they say" you sang it in your own style" to indicate that it was a pretty good attempt, which is fine.
Unusual voices is something which some may like and others hate. so the contestants has a tougher time I think in reaching the top.
