This is the man who has been so humble and grateful to all his fans. Who has done nothing but loved his fans 100x more than we have loved him. He is eternally grateful to us as it is because of his fans' love and support that he is able to claim the fame and success that he has today.
Now he has reached a stage where he wishes to do something for himself but he is unable to take a firm decision due to so many variables. Some of them being his fans.
Yes, we have gotten to know Sid through Kunj Sarna. But let's remember it is not Kunj Sarna who makes Sidhant Gupta. It's the other way around. If he wishes to try out different ventures then he should be given the opportunity to.
I'm not 100% certain of his reasoning behind leaving, but if he is being offered JDJ, then I don't see why he cannot do it at the same time as TEI. Other Zee TV actors have done it before so why can't he? Why is he being picked on and treated this way?
Sid, as an actor, is at the prime of his life. He should be exploring different avenues and different roles and growing himself. Not typecast himself as one fictional character for the rest of his life.
Let's remember that acting is the sole and prime reason for his being right now. He wishes to be a great actor and that's what he should be given the opportunity to do. Zee should give him the opportunity to explore himself by taking on side projects. If that means cutting the show down to 5 days a week, I'm fine with it.
Why?
Because that will mean more relaxation time for the actors to allow them to be even more energized and healthy for the show, and more time for the writers to write better scripts.
So I guess in all this rambling, all I'm asking for is to allow the man to try out different ventures.
Yes, we all deserve a happy ending to the show and Sid isn't denying us that. He is more than willing to stay but he would also like to try out different things.
So the point here is, why not?
