That's the thing. We are only getting news of this one big offer that Sid simply cannot refuse. Who knows how many offers he may gotten but had to turn down in the past? If this is something that Sid really wishes to pursue then he should be allowed to.

As for shows, TEI is going to end one day or another. I don't get why everyone are behaving as if it's the end of the word. Yes, Sid leaving is raising a lot of questions in how Kunj's character will shape out. But do remember that you consciously and willingly chose to invest so much time into this show. No one forced you to.

In this regard, Sid (or any of the other actors for that matter), are obligated to do anything for you. If anything, they will be more inclined to see the role to its culmination for all the time and effort that they have put into it. Yes, they are grateful to the fans, but they are by no means obligated to do anything for us.

They are actors, and this show, and this role, is merely one job out of many for them.

That's my point.

We do not know the full details of what is going on between Sid and the channel. There is no use in us getting so worked up about it. What's going to happen, will.

However, I am not ignorant to your feelings in regards to TwiNj. I fully sympathize with you in wishing to have a happy ending for the couple. They have proven themselves to be formidable and have established a bond that is not witnessed in many other shows. To have Twinkle end up with Yuvi now will be a betrayal to all of your sentiments.

This is why I sincerely hope that Sid is able to continue with TEI while being able to work on his new project as well. He has no wishes to leave Kunj, a character that he has spent so much intimacy with and has literally brought to life.

But alas, it's all up to the powers that be to decide what will come out for this show and its characters.

Sid has my complete support as well.

He has already mentioned multiple times that he wishes to stay on the show but be allowed to work on his new project as well. This dedication to stick to a former character in the light of a possibly bigger opportunity has gained so much respect from me.

It really is up to the production house and the channel on how they would like matters to proceed from here.

#TeamSid - there is so much to this that I can't even begin.

I honestly don't get why Sid can't work on his upcoming project as well as TEI...The channel and production house are really being very irrational over the whole thing! If Ravi Dubey was allowed to work on other projects whilst doing Jamai Raja why can't Sid to the same with TEI? Why the partiality?

Anyway, all we can do is play the waiting game in the hopes the channel and PH see sense...In the meanwhile I fully support Sid in whatever he does...He should do whatever gives him happiness and satisfaction...

I really don't get it either. I mean, his one year exclusive contract would have ended by now as well. So if Sid wishes to still stay with the show but just be allowed to work on the new project, I don't get why he's being stopped. It's not like he's stating he wishes to abandon the show completely.

First of all I think the 6 day week schedule for the shows is absolutely ridiculous. It is completely exhausting for the human body to work that rigorously on a daily basis. The channel needs to ease up on this.

They do not own the actors in any manner. If they continue to monopolize on the actors this way, very soon they won't have the fame that they are boasting around any longer.

As for Sid, with his hard work, passion and dedication to the craft of acting, he will reach success and fame. <3

Yes, we have no means of knowing what the actors/actresses think off camera. And yes, we are the ones who give them success, fame and whatnot.

But get this, if you are not happy with his decision, you can leave. One fan who doesn't wish to support him isn't going to make much of a difference in front of the thousands who are.

I respect the fact that you might dislike Sid/Kunj for your own reasons so kindly please try and respect our decision to trust Sid's feelings for his fans and stop ridiculing it.

Those who are saying that TEI has given Sid fame n he is leaving it and giving Barun's example as how leaving his show backfired, why dont you guys see Sushant or Rajeev as an example?

Pavitra Rishta and Kahin toh hoga made Sushant and Rajeev famous.

Sushant left PR while Ankita stayed back. And see where Ankita is now and where Sushant is.

Rajeev also left KTH while Aamna stayed back. Where is Aamna now?

I would like to believe that Sid will repeat the history of SSR n Rajeev.
