Dear Talia,
I know the past was like beautiful dreams but the present is like a nightmare.But as the both side will proceed I hope you'll like it more. As this story is more about fighting back. Already I wrote a draft for the present situation I think hopefully everyone will love.

Dearest Nyna,
My chapters are always incomplete without your analysis. I really don't know how do you manage this... Your every review is nothing less than an artwork, even if the actual update of mine was ordinary. I told you once romance and emotions are not my comfortable zone so writing those parallel tracks was actually a Herculean tasky. I still remember your Amaranthine... Pure Bliss!

Laksh has an very important role... He is a witness and chariot in Swasan's journey through heaven and hell. It's a refreshing change for me as in my other story he's like the most despicable human being.

My fantasy of automobiles is fulfilled through my writing, as driving(and many other things) is strictly banned for me for a certain health issue...

LIving with scars is not easy. Reality is difficult. Also I wanted to spread some awareness here. I did a training on burn wound management few years back, also faced such patients in my life.. At least about the first aid part and after management. I guess I should post some informations some other time.

I'm really very confused about Sahil's punishment part... More I think I feel it's not enough...The punishment should suit Sanskar's blinding rage too...

Hope to do justice to this theme and your future analyses.

Love,
Dyuti

P.S.Great minds think alike... BTW is it for FM?

Dear Dyuti,

I am glad to know that you like my comments (though I would draw a line a calling them "artwork"), though to be fair, the credit goes to your story lines.

Amaranthine - I loved writing it too, and those were great times, the forum now is such a dull place.😭😭

Living with scars is difficult, but with family and friends, does become easier. And the information, it is a good idea, post it as a footnote.

Sahil's punishment - considering what he has done, nothing seems to be adequate, but as the story progresses, I am sure you would come up with the appropriate one.

Looking forward to reading more from you.

love,
Nyna

PS - yes it is for FM, I think I will retain it😳

Hi dear friends! This is probably the longest chapter I've written till date. Few words more than 5700. Another thing is I'm going to take a break. I'm coming to India for almost 2 weeks for vacation. so no net, no time to spare, nothing. This time I'll miss writing and the wonderful girls here!!

4 . Don't go home without me

Kaleidoscope of memoirs: A ride to remember

" Oh hello! Why are you still standing here like a lamp post? Ghar jaane ka irada nehi hain kya?" Swara was all set to start her Cutie pie', she was wearing a cute red girly helmet. "I don't need any bodyguard to see me off, got it?" Sanskar unwillingly mounted his sports bike, a black Kawasaki Ninja 300 which he got on his last birthday from his elder brother Adarsh. But when had Sanskar Maheshwari ever acted against his will?

"Swara wait!" He got off his bike suddenly. Yelling at the top of his voice, he began to chase after her scooty which was still moving at a relatively slower pace. " Please don't leave me! SWARA!"As soon as that commotion reached her ears, Swara glanced at the rear view mirror . With a puzzled expression on her face she halted her scooty by pressing hard brake, making a slight screeching sound on the ground.

She waited till he had reached near her. "Now what? Just now you were telling me to leave for home ! What happened to your concern?"She seemed clearly livid by his tantrums by now. Sanskar, on the other hand,was holding his knees bending forward, huffing and puffing. Looking at her he gave his best toothy grin, a smile that was charming enough to make almost any young lady weakened at her knees. Swara's frowning brows even couldn't dimmed it. "Don't go home without me, Swara! "

"Heh?! "

"I don't have any ride to go home! Give me a lift na Swara! Pretty pretty pleea-se!" Sanskar made most innocent face, almost giving a puppy eyed look. Though she felt pulling his cheeks, she still kept her stern mode on... Wait! Why would she feel like pulling his cheeks?She felt her own ones were getting warm with rushing reds. "Why? What happened to your buddy?"

"They left for their home! I can't stay here for hours waiting for them!"He pouted, desperately hoping she would melt by his faked innocence.

"Uff!You're impossible! I'm not talking about those manner less, foolish friends of yours!" She bit her tongue. She was talking about HIS friends, about some seniors! She felt relieved when he didn't seem to acknowledge her slip, "I'm asking what happened to your handsome bike over here!" She pointed towards the magnificent black sports bike standing behind him. This time he didn't laugh crazily like before, his lips curved upwards a little. "My Buddy got sick, dear! He can't get me home!Now please let your Cutie pie to help me! There's even no taxi nearby!"

" OK, hop on!" she sighed. This guy was nothing but a trouble!A hot trouble!

==========================

"Had you gripped my cutie properly? Though I'm a very careful driver, there are many other idiots on the roads." Swara's eyes were on the road. Her stray strands of hair were brushing Sanskar's face occasionally,his nostrils were filled with lavender fragrance of her. He dreamily murmured, " Koi bhi idiot baan jayega... After sensing your presence around any sane people will forget how to drive..."

"Did you say something?"

"Nahi, I mean I was saying I'm around 1 feet taller than you... Toh bahut jhukna par raha hai...l My back is paining in the process of holding the seat properly."

" Alright then!You can hold by my shoulder. Par jyada chipkao mat." She cursed her fate today, which was adamant about bringing her closer to him at an alarming speed.But she couldn't let Sanskar to get hurt in case there's any untoward event, could she? He mentally raised his collar, to come up with such good excuses, pretending to have his bike not working and that back pain. He hesitantly grabbed her shoulder, "Curious mind wants to know... Do you give names to all of the bikes around you? Cutie pie! Buddy!"
"Nope!" Her lips lingered around the P', "That bike must meet the standard of Swara Singhania! Everything about that bike should be hot n happening!"

"Absolutely right you're! That means you liked my buddy! Waise... is the owner of the bike included under everything about the bike' list... Wow! I didn't know you find me hot n happening!"

"YOU!!! I never told you were ... those..."She really wanted to hit his head now. Shameless fellow!

Noticing her reddened face he really wanted to pull her cheeks"Arey don't be shy! Not only you, all the girls who know me feel this way ... You just took few days more days to admit!"

She halted her bike immediately" Mr Sanskar Maheshwari! Aur ek shabd bola toh bich sarak pe chodkar chali jaungi!" She threatened turning her face a bit towards him.

"Okay okay! I'm not saying a word more! See?Jungli Billi! "He muttered the last two words almost as a whisper, and the scooty started again

After few minutes he again nudged her. "Swara! Suno na!"

"Now what?"

"Where were you these days? You and your two bodyguards?

"Lucky's cousin Arjun got married in Chandigarh, so all of us had bunked college! One second! What did you say? Nikhil and Lucky... that too my bodyguards?! Those two chicken hearts! Hahahahah!Nice joke tha Sunny boy!" Sanskar got mesmerized again and again, he had never heard her laugh so openly... Nor had he ever felt someone's giggle can be so magical! It seemed as a gush of wind played their symphony for thousands of windchimes to do their happy dance together. His heart too joined the jives as he heard her calling him as Sunny boy'.
"Accha laga sunn ke!"He was looking at her reflection on the mirror. A soft grin tugged on his lips.

"Kya? About Nikhil and Lucky?"

"No... You... calling me Sunny... It felt like you're not that distant anymore..."

Swara blushed... She suddenly felt too aware with him around her... To avoid the situation she asked him, "Now what turn should I take?"

The naughty cupid near his ear whispered, "Tell her to turn towards you! Tell her to make you her destination!" But the mind was sane enough to knock that mischievous creature away.

=========================

"No-no-no-no-no-no-no! Damn! Please, don't stop! What happened to you,my baby?"Swara was acting all horrified and frantic when her scooty stopped moving without giving a single warning. She screamed in anger when her eyes went toward the fuel gauge. "Arghh!" Simmering with anger she dialled Laksh's number, "LUCKY! I'll kill you! Didn't you fill up the fuel tank? Kya kaha tha maine?"

Laksh had picked up his phone quite unwillingly after 17 missed calls. "Shona I'm sorry! Tu ghar toh pauch gayi na? Nikhil will pick you tomorrow ! You are our good princess, aren't you? Good night! Sleep tight!" he completed all those words in single breath.

"You Monkey! Baboon !Chimpanzee! Gorilla!" She was screaming at the top of her voice over the cellphone, exercising different zoological profanities on Laksh.

"Stop stop! They're almost the same, angry kitty! Why don't you try some other animals? Like donkey, elephant,zebra, giraffe... No giraffes are taller than Lucky... Panda? Nehi, panda toh cute hote hain! Bilkul tumhari tarah! "Sanskar intervened her non stop blabbering, and pulled her soft cheek impulsively. Can someone look more adorable in her anger ridden state? "How about hippo? Or rhino?" Oh, how he loved her face turning crimson like the twilight sky!

Swara gave a nasty look that make him seal his mouth immediately.She continued to speak over phone, "Aww! How sad! Your one day old relationship is over already! That's why you were drinking and forgot about the world ! Leave alone the world! You forgot about my cutie pie!" She taunted under the veil of sincere sympathy, "Idiot!Now I'm stuck with your new found big brother! Where? In the middle of the road!...No! It's nothing like that.Woh he was asking for a lift!Lath khayega Lucky! OK bye!" Gushes of blood rushed to her face again as she heard something from the other side... Probably teasing from her BFF?

"Aab mein kya karu? Mommy!" Swara threw her hands in the air. Her eyes fell on Sanskar and her frustration grew many folds! "You! I got stuck just because of you two ! That's why people say, never try to do good of other people!"

"Those people are mean, okay!" he rolled his eyes, "Listen, I've a solution. My home is within the walking distance from here. Why don't you leave your scooty there? I'll return after filling up the fuel tank tomorrow . After all you're stuck here for helping me!!!"

"Sounds fair enough!" Swara replied after thinking for a while, " But you should walk with my cutie, okay?"

"Aap ki hukum sar aankhon pe, rani sahiba!" He bowed and greeted her as if he were in ancient royal court, "Waise maan na parega! This Lucky turned out to be a dark horse! Drinking! Breakup! Considering his age he can handle alcohol quite well! I couldn't guess his drunken state at all! Mein toh 2-3 shots ki baad hosh hi kho baithti hoon! By the way tum bhi aise...?"

" Shut up! Alcohol and us? Chi chi chi! Mein toh cold drinks ki baat kar rahi thi!Every time he has a breakup, he has this cola mania episode!"

" Weird! Your friend har angle se thoda ajib hain. Which guy goes for a date on a scooty ? I'm sure she dumped him for this cause! It's okay! Not everyone is a charmer like me!"

"Lucky ke sath tumhara koi dushmani hai kya? Again you're bragging and assuming things! That girl was telling so much rubbish about Lucky and my friendship,that he couldn't take it and dumped her."She had subdued chagrin in her voice. "Listen! My life revolves around my family and friends. So it would be better for you not insult or trouble my friends!"

"No! No! Not again! I don't wish to die at such a young age! Duniya abhi dekhna hain mujhe! From this moment Nikhil and Lucky are my dearest , little brothers, I swear!

"Not only them... Meghna, Urvi, Samar, Manish ... I'll be happy if none of them have any kind of troubles from you people" Swara's face gleamed while she mentioned the name though she sounded a bit serious at the end.

At this moment it occurred to him: every person, every feeling, every thing related to her mattered to him. Why? That he hadn't come to realise yet..."When you care about them so much, then why won't I? Swara, look! We've reached our home! Wait inside for few minutes. I'm getting the keys from my big bro!" None of them seemed to noticed when he said our home' instead of my home'. Perhaps it felt so right. He had pointed toward the palatial home in the peaceful suburb of Bandra, resembling neo eclectic design except the red Mangalore tiled roof inspired by Portuguese architecture. The watchman opened the gate with a puzzled look in his eyes. Sanskar led Swara inside stepping on the large lawn.

"Uh.. Sir... I mean Sunny...I think I should wait here only!" Swara's voice was full of hesitation. What would his family think?

"No way! For the first time my friend has come to my home, how can I let her leave from outside?" He was dragging her towards the front entrance, smiling ear to ear.

"Friend? When had we become friends?".

"From the first time... ever I saw your face!" He didn't even pay heed to her probable reaction... Even if he did... it was nothing to worry about... For her face had radiance of full moon... radiance that came from the warmth of the sun, the adorably weird Sunny boy...

==========================

"Arey Sunny... Where were you? Aj itni der kyun hua?"

"Bhabi ask questions later... please let us enter at least... Is bro home? I need his car keys to drop Swara home..." Sanskar impatiently came in, " Arey, come na!"

Parineeta Adarsh Maheshwari was looking hell confused, "Devarji, you haven't introduced her yet!".

" Hi Bhabi! I'm Swara Singhania, his junior and..."Swara started introducing herself but Sanskar butted in.

"NEW FRIEND Bhabi! Now go naa!"he desperately wanted to send away the third person kabab mein haddi'.

Surprise should be the understatement if anyone described the expression appeared on her face when Parineeta had opened the door. Never had she seen her brother in law to bring a girl home with him in her six months long married life. Instead of going to her husband Adarsh , Parineeta walked towards the kitchen in a haste and shrieked, "Mom! Please come with me! SUNNY BROUGHT HIS GIRLFRIEND HOME! Her name is Swara! And... she's so pretty!"

==============================

Anuradha Maheshwari entered the living room to find an angelic looking girl strolling around, glancing the interiors and family pictures with a childlike curiosity ... and Sanskar following her every step like a little cute pug dog... A content smile was plastered to his face, while his sense was oblivious to his surroundings...

"Swara beta! I'm so happy that Sunny brought you here!" Anuradha stopped Swara when she was going to touch her feet, instead she hugged her. She lifted Swara's chin with her fingers and said softly, " Finally my good for nothing son has managed to do something right. Who knew his choice would turn out be this good! I couldn't have found a better daughter in law than you in this whole world!"

Present: Hasta la vista,baby

Mumbai central prison was traditionally known as Arthur road jail . The arrested people from different police stations in Mumbai were transferred here to stay until and serve their sentence after trial, if they were proven guilty as charged.The prison that was built almost 90 years back, in the era of British rule, had enough "good will" to make any new entrant to lose their peace and sleep on the very first day...

"Aye! Kapde utar! Are you deaf or what? Ya sahebzade ko Hindi samajh mein nehi aati?You bloody, f***** scoundrel, strip! Now! " Visnu Prasad Sharma, The Officer in charge barked, punching the top of his desk. "Mohan, search the clothes of this b****** , who knows what is he hiding?" Constable Mohan Das who brought him from Andheri Police station remarked, " This Sahil Sengupta bahot tedha aadmi hai Sir! 326 ka mamla,uss ladki ko uthake le aya tha. He didn't stop troubling her even after being arrested. You know this type very well. Gandhe nali ki keede hain ye log... "

"YOU! Do you know with whom you are talking? DO YOU KNOW ME? I can buy thousands of your kind within an hour!" Not being able to bear the insult hurled at him, Sahil yelled at the top of his lungs, at the same time raised his fist to charge at Mohan. But he was captured by others.

"How dare you! Jail mein khade hokar police pe hat uthana? And what did you say? You will buy me! Visnu Sharma ko kharidega tu? " Officer Visnu, a gigantic muscular man landed a massive punch on Sahil's torso, who was out of breath for not being able to withstand the impact of the hit. "Mohan take him away,search every inch of his clothes and body...". He spat those words out of malevolence.

"Do you think that Sanskar can stop your transfer or save your career? I know what you are doing here!" Sahil's every words came out venomous shots as Mohan and another constable were dragging him away... "I'll make you pay as soon as I get bailed out... as you don't wish to get paid my me."

"You've a 326 in your account, Mr Billionaire! You're not going to leave us anytime soon!.Yaha par tere khatirdari bahot acche se honge! Intezaam main khud dekh lunga,tu chinta maat kar! Nothing less than those five star hotels of yours! " Officer Sharma sneered; a crude, sardonic smile playing with the naked revulsion emitted from his narrowed eyes...

After 15 minutes Sahil was taken away from there. Officer Sharma was heard to talk with someone over the land phone. " Pandya, sending Sahil Sengupta to Barrack number 3. Make sure he gets his place near Jaggu and his gang... That guy desperately needs some extra attention..."

========================

Sahil's face turned reddened with outrage and insult after that altercation with officer and the body search that followed which was not any less than slow motioned molestation. He thought that getting bail would be a cakewalk as he had influence and money under his belt.
But little did he know that he would have to face judicial magistrate Arun Sahani in less than 24 hours and would be rejected, for his offence was non bailable. His frustration knew no bounds when he was dispatched to the Central prison without wasting any time.

He was still recalling the jailer' s words, " Listen Mr Billionaire, this is barrack, not your palace. Sooner you shed your cockiness, sooner you would learn to endure. Here you're nothing but a worthless felon. You eat when we say you eat. You shit when we say you shit. You piss when we say you piss. Got it?"

"Jaggu bhai,look! A new fish!" someone shouted from the heavily crowded hall of the barrack. Sahil scrunched his nose in disgust as the dirtiest place ever on the earth was now in front of him. " From today here is the place you'll lodge." The jail police who had guided him up to here left after that.

==========================

" Gauri Ma, if you break down so much, then who will support your daughter?" Sanskar looked at the grief stricken, middle aged lady. Gauri had held herself with great difficulty inside the cabin, but burst out in tears as soon as she came out.

" I'm not strong like you beta! I don't how would we have managed to arrange this surgery without any hassle... Swara ki Papa, woh toh puri tarah se tut chuki hain... Sharmila... her condition is not any better than any of us."

Well what else could be expected? Gauri and Sharmila both were this innocent angel' s mother. One' s soul was slowly decaying , seeing her apple of her eyes, by this cruel, harsh world, the child who was intertwined within her flesh for 9 month, inside her womb. While the other lady felt she failed what Swara could do, she had been a better daughter despite of having no biological connection, where she couldn't even do anything when that beast abducted Swara in front of her eyes.

=======================

Sanskar was gazing at Swara who was still under the effect of general anaesthetics. Right half of her affected face was covered with surgical dressing as well as her neck from where the donor skin has been carefully acquired and processed further for a full thickness graft procedure. He was feeling like a lone sailor in the deep sea who had been on a quest of a faraway deserted island where his beloved had been marooned, away from life,away from hope, away from love...
"Mr Maheshwari!" the voice of Dr Mukesh Aiyyar brought back from his reverie. " The road before you is not easy. This is just the beginning. Pray that her skin accepts the graft without any problems... I've told you the success of the produces greatly depends on her willpower and mental conditions."

"Sometimes I can't depend on myself doctor! Already I couldn't prevent this crime happening to her! What if I fail again? What if I'm not worthy enough to give that rock solid support she needs at the moment?" Sanskar's voice trembled with doubts he had been harbouring about himself; his palms covered his frustrated face.

" Mr Maheshwari, just be with her. That's the best thing you can do."Dr Aiyyar placed his palms on his shoulder, " I'd suggest you to contact a psychotherapist, if you ask this question from professional aspect. Stress or emotions can cause excess movement around her operated area, which may be detrimental for the her graft area. We can't take any risk here at any cost. I'll visit her again time to time. Take care."

Sanskar slumped down on the chair beside her bed, just after the doctor had left the room. He was about to touch her face but withdrew his hands at the end moment. Instead he lowered himself to kiss her fingers, then held her hand close to his heart.
His aching heart was recalling the morning before surgery...

=========================

"Ms. Singhania, you've to fight back, for your parents, for your wonderful friend and this man before you who may not smile again, if you wallow yourself into self pity." Dr Aiyyar was trying his best to motivate the patient who was very absorbed into the abyss and despair, "At least don't talk or move your face at any cost." His last line almost came out as request.

"Doctor, whatever you people are attempting for me, can those bring same old Swara back to him?" She showed doctor the photo of her and Sanskar's engagement. "You don't have any answer, right?" She smiled sadly while Dr Aiyyar silently observed her. Then he calmly reverted.

"You are still the same person, young lady. I'm a mere mortal who don't have that power to predict with absolute certainty. The outcome at the end of the day is decided by the Almighty and to some extent by you too. God helps those who help themselves...Best of luck, Miss Singhania!." Saying this he left.

Sanskar cupped her face, carefully avoiding the wounds, "Promise me Shona, you'll give the best from your side. Promise me, you'll never abandon your treatment midway! Promise me... on my life!

Swara looked up to meet his eyes at once , startled, "Why are you doing this, Sunny? Making me swear on your life... Do you think these are fun? Is your life something to be toyed with?"

"Then what do you think? You wouldn't let your gaze meet my eyes, you wouldn't let yourself even talk to me properly, you would let yourself drift apart from me more and more... Is this fun? Do you think you can play with my life, your life, our lives this way?" His words were the living proof of his inner turmoil. "I can fight everything but not this void you're creating inside me."

Her heart was wrenching when she heard him, see him, feel him... Her life has ceased in front of a crossroad where all ways have blazing red sign... not green... not yellow... she can't be with him... how can she let him be with her? " I'm begging you Sanskar! Please don't waste your life. Being with me will only eat you alive... I don't have anything for you anymore!" Removing his hands she turned her face.

But when Shona could turn Sunny down? Without wasting his moment he kneeled down on the floor... hugged her resting his head on her lap... softly planted kisses on her belly over the fabric of her sky blue hospital gown... inhaled that lavender aroma he was so familiar of... she began to caress the jet black strands densely covering his scalp as if her deep rooted reflex mechanism guided her. Closing his eyelids he smiled, lost in the intoxicating moment, " It seems I feel alive for the first time after so long! Never leave me again princess! Never! I love you Shona!"

He paused when droplets of tears had touched his head... " How can you love me, Sunny? When I don't love myself anymore? I'm not your Shona, neither your princess. She was killed that day when he..." She couldn't finish,for silent tears turned into violent sobs, piercing his heart like numerous glass shards... again...

==============

"No, I can't let him go that easily." Sanskar got up from his seat, determination etched on his tone and appearance. He contacted Laksh who was waiting outside the door, " Lucky, please manage everything till I come back here. I'm going out for a while."

"You're going... at this time!" Laksh looked a bit perplexed.

==========================

Jagdish, more known as Jaggu bhai inside the underworld, was leisurely sitting on a iron bench on the yard of central prison. His heavily bearded face had remnants of various deep cuts, among which the one on his right cheek and one on his forehead were prominent; former of which travelled down the whole length of left brow and the later up to the chin. His black lips were forming rings of smoke containing mixture of nicotine and weed. That combination would render anyone delirious ,but years of relationship with them rewarded him with a mild kick of ecstasy whenever they met.

His group of henchman surrounded him, passing nasty remarks and slang words generously. If some newcomers or menial criminals managed to pass their way, they took responsibility to toughen them up by exercising their mouth and hands on them.

The prison guard Karthik had formed a bond of return and receive with the the gang of Jaggu. It seemed luck had bestowed favour for the former, as he stood before the latter with a smile,
"Jaggu Bhai, you have a visitor!"

==========================

"Good afternoon, Mr Maheshwari! Decent people like you usually never socialises with the kind of us. What made you to step inside this hell hole?" Jaggu was astonished to meet Sanskar, a sophisticated young man, who was well known around the business world for his strong principles. " Do I have to protect some friend of yours?Par Jaggu kisi ko godh mein rakhne ke liye paise nehi lete! Babysitting doesn't suit my image. "

" Par kisi ko narak toh dikha sakte ho?" Sanskar passed a photograph in front of him, "Sahil Sengupta, he has just been brought here, that too very close to your hangout."

"Woah! Aap toh saarein planning kar ke aaye hain! What did he do? Love shuv ka mamla hain kya? Did he have affair with your wife or, girlfriend ? Iss liye fasa diya!" Jaggu leered, being amused by the grim tone of Sanskar.

"SHUT UP! Just shut up!" Sanskar jumped to grab at Jaggu's collar by one hand. He lifted his other hand to hit him, but controlled himself at the last moment, "Khabardar meri Shona ki baarein mein kuch bhi ulta sidha bola toh... you'll see the worst of me!"

Jaggu was stunned by the maddening courage of this man. No one has dared to look at his eyes directly, here he... Sanskar's eyes were spitting fire at this moment, "Listen, Jaggu . You need money, I need revenge! Tum kaise kaise ghatiya kam kar ke yaha aye ho, maine nehi pucha. Then you shouldn't poke your nose into my personal life either. Tum sirf apni kam se matlab rakho." Leaving Jaggu's collar, he shifted his gaze from him and said mechanically, " Just name your price. I want that guy begging for mercy by this evening at any cost. He may offer you money. But dare you double cross me,or I won't think twice to shift you from here. Yaha tumhara dhanda kafi saalon se chal raha hain, hain na?"

"Sahab, Jaggu aaj tak bahut kuch kiya hai, par beimani nehi. Your work will be done. I promise." Jaggu's eyes were piercing into the form of scorned lover before him, for whom
the memory almost 16 years old buried deep inside his heart resurfaced. When Jaggu was Jagdish, when he had someone too, waiting for him at the end of the day; only to be found in the deepest slumber for he was too late one day... for he was so worthless... so weak...

Irony of the fate! Whoever this girl Shona was, she had managed to awaken the human inside Jaggu ,the alleged murderer, smuggler and drug dealer, even for a flickering second... and the wounded beast inside a humane, warm hearted prince, until the longing for vengeance lasted, or perhaps forever...

==========================

Sanskar came out of the prison after meeting the prison officer. The broad daylight was a stark contrast of his psyche, which better complimented the shadowy dungeon of the British era structure he had left behind. His chocolate brown eyes burning like hot coal, his lips was contorted with a cruel smile. "Aaj ki raat kissi ki liye bahot yaadgar hoga. Sorry I couldn't see you off for this wonderful trip to the land of Hades, you ba****d. Hasta la vista, baby... Oops! I mean hasta la vista, Mr Sahil Sengupta!"

Res - and welcome to India. Enjoy your vacation.

And I unres

Okay you said it was a long chapter, but then it still got over too quickly😳 Poor Swara, things are moving quite quickly - Sanskaar is falling for her, she is absolutely oblivious to it, and Parineeti makes her his girlfriend while his mother welcomes her as a prospective daughter in law. That was such a warm and beautiful chapter, which makes the present even more bitter and ugly.

Sahil - he truly is quite...I am not sure of finding a word fit for him, actually to even trying to describe him might lend him some dignity, so I am simply not going to say a word.

The present - so here also it appears to be close to the serial canon (Swara having two mothers, though your future updates would tell the actual relationship).

Swara - she still seems set on forcing Sanskaar to stop loving her, worried that who she is now (both in looks and mind) is not the strong beautiful loving woman she was. She does tell the truth, when she cannot love herself she cannot believe the Sanskaar can. And that is where she is breaking Sanskaar, for he cannot fight her inner demons, she has to.

But he could fight his battles and the outcome is a meeting with Jaggu who would sent Sahil on a well deserved trip.

I have told this before but I will say it again - I love the way the story swings between the past and the present and offers a lovely contrast of events, emotions and actions. Off to read the next chapter.

love,
Nyna
