Scene starts in Baadi--
A 6 year old girl is playing with her 2 year old brother. Just then a lady comes. She is Janki.
Janki- Ragini, go & get ready beta. Today is ur birthday na, we will go to temple.
(Yes the girl is Ragini & boy is Rajiv)
Ragini- Mumma... Chottu bhai will also go with us.
Janki- Yes beta... ur chottu will also come with us.
Just then a old lady come. She is Parvati. Ragini runs to her.
Ragini- Dadi...
She picks her up and says- Laddo thhare ko janamdin ki bahut shubhkamnayen.
Ragini- Thank u dadi... Dadi papa kab aayengey.
Dadi- Laddo... ur dad has gone for some work, he will come, till then i will make u ready. Janki u make Rajiv ready.
Janki - Ji Maa...
They make Ragini & Rajiv ready. Just then Dada ji comes.
Dada ji- Shekher ki Maa, were is Shekher, he has not come till now. We have to do special pooja for our laddo.
Dadi- He must be coming.
Just then Shekher enters. But he was not alone. Two ladies and a girl was with him.
Dadi- Shekher tu aa gaya. Then she sees them. Yeh bagalaan yahan ke kar rahi hai.
Shekher- Maa, yeh Swara.. meri aur Sharmishta ki beti hai. (yes one lady is Sharmishta & another is Dida & little girl is Swara)
All were shocked. It was like a moutain felt on Janki. She gets teary eyed. Just then little Ragini comes out. She sees Shekher & runs towards him.
Ragini- Papa...
But she stops when she sees a girl with him.
Shekher- Laddo come here, she is Swara... ur sister. Today is her birthday too.
Ragini looks at Janki who had tears. She goes to her.
Ragini- Mumma, is papa right... But u told me that i have just one brother... i.e. chottu bhai.
Janki did not knew what to answer. She just looked at innocent face of her kids. Her Ragini & Rajiv.
Ragini- Mumma, answer naa...
Janki hugs Ragini. She cries.
Ragini- Mumma, why are u crying .. u know na i hate tears in ur eyes.
She wipes Janki's tears with her small fingers. She smiles.
Shekher- Janki... woh...
Janki signals him to stop. She run towards her room. As she was going she slip and falls.
All shouts. They immediately takes her to hospital. Doctor takes her to ICU.
Ragini & Rajiv were crying. Dadi was trying to console them.
Ragini- Dadi, mumma thhik ho jayen gi na.
Dadi- Haa Laddo...
Just then Doctor comes out of ICU.
Dada ji- How is my bahu.
Doctor- I am sorry to say she dont have much time. Lots of blood has flown & she also had brain hamerage. U all can meet her.
Little Ragini could not understand what doctor said, but as she was excited to meet her mother she runs inside.
Dadi & others to go inside. Ragini sees Janki on ventilator. She gets up on stool.
Ragini- Mumma...
Janki open her eyes. She looks at Ragini.
Janki- Laddo... She keeps her hands on Ragini's head lovingly. Suddenly she starts breathing heavely and stops breathing. All were shocked.
Ragini- Mumma... uttho na... u told me u will get a doll for me... mumma.. She shakes Janki.
Dadi goes to her and says- Laddo, thhari Maa, challi gayi, abb woh kabhi nahi bolengi...
Ragini- Dadi... mumma kuy nahi bolengi.. woh mujh se naraaz hai kya... Aap bollo na, ab main koi shaitaani nahi karungi, ice-cream ki zid bhi nahi karungi... Mumma ko bolne bollo na... Dadi...
All were looking at innocent Ragini, who did not knew that she lost her mother on her very special day... her birthday...
