Scene starts with Gadodia's bringing Janki's body to Baadi for her last rituals. Ragini was with dadi & she was crying unstoppable. After sometime all the people took Janki's body for ceremation. It was few days after Janki's death. Ragini had became silent. She just used to sit near Janki's pic. Dadi tried to cheer her up but nothing was working. Ragini just used to talk to her brother Rajiv who was 2 yrs old (kids talk as she herself was of 6). One day Ragini was sitting with Rajiv in her lap.
Ragini- Chottu bhai, i am missing mumma.
Rajiv- bu..bu. mum...mumaa.. (he cant speak properly as he is just 2 years)
Just then Swara comes there.
Swara- Ragini will u play with me?
Ragini (looks at her angrily)- u & ur mom are bad, i dont wanna play with u. Go..
Swara gets sad. She says- Chottu bhai, will u play with me.
Ragini- No, he is just my brother... not urs... She gives a soft push to Swara.
Just then Shekher comes and sees this.
Shekher- Ragini... what are u doing? She is ur sister.
Ragini- She is not my sister. She is bad.. Her mother is bad and u are also bad. Because of u my mother left me & chottu bhai.
Shekher was angry, he slaps Ragini.
Others were shocked.
Dadi- Shekher what are u doing. She is a kid.
Shekher- Maa, cant u see, she pushed Swara. What if she wld have got hurt. Saying this he hugged Swara.
Little Ragini gets teary eyed.
Shekher- She has forgotten her manners. And now she will go to hostel.
Ragini gets afraid hearing hostel and runs to Dadi.
Dada ji- Shekhar , what are u speaking?
Shekhar- This is my last decision. No arguments.
Saying this he goes. Ragini hugs dadi & starts crying.
Ragini- Dadi ... mujhe hostel nahi jaana, mujhe aap ke aur chottu bhai ke saath rahena hai.
But Dadi was helpless. Even Dada ji could not do anything. After two days Ragini was sent to hostel. She was crying, was requesting not to send her to hostel. But no one was there to listen and those who can listen were standing helpless. She realised there is no one here for her. Before going she looked at baadi, she smiled at her chottu bhai, and gave a glare at Sharmishta & Swara. Ragini leaves for the hostel.
Ragini never used to come to baadi in vacations. She used to call but wld only talk to dadi and with her chottu bhai. She used to stay in hostel only.
Like these Days passed, weeks passed , months passed & years too.
