UnresHey Nyna 🤗So Kavita is indeed alive - well that was almost a given considering who her mother is but then is she truly alive? The whole chapter was her journey and her choices, she is such a weak person that her fear of possible poverty (however scary that could be) always makes her chose wrongly and she actually ends up poorer each time .Kavita is very much alive yes, I had left that rather open and obvious for some point and in fact held her back till almost the last 😉. I hated the Kavita track SO much in the show- this is a humble attempt to show at least some sense on it and to also sketch a Kavita we may hate or not like but at least she should make sense in what she does, i.e. her whys and whereforesShe has been brought up to be a courtesan, rejects Adarsh (luckily for him?) fails with Lakshya (his not being a gentleman enough being his saving grace - if he had fallen for her charms, he would have at the most treated her as his treasured possession but never as a wife - as did his father before him) and strikes gold with Sanskaar (ever the idealist, it does make him a little foolish in the matters of the heart, which is why he believed he had despoiled and ruined her reputation - his feelings towards her were based on that notion rather than love - because in Swara's case with whom he is truly in love with, he never crossed the boundary lines, however, willingly she melted in his arms).Yes, very fair assessment. Kavita was taught to aim for the crown prince but she didn't have much success there due to chance and lack of real effort. It was always Sanskaar who captured her real attention and as you say he has that idealistic streak especially in matters of honour and heart- I tried to show that before too. Absolutely spot on about how Sanskaar even having that illicit relation with her shows the shallowness of feelings there compared to what he feels for Swara. There even if she begged him, he would not endanger her virtue and he even fought battles with himself to stay the night with her despite nothing of that sort being allowed to happen 😳Somewhere Kavita knew that her hold on Sanskaar was based on his notions of honour which is what she used to ensnare him to her. And of course, her so called - no choice decisions - she is one of those frail weak characters who are actually afraid of exercising choices or choose the easier way out convincing themselves that they had no choice in the matter:a) Sanskaar's love or living in poverty - Sanskaar would have given her respectability and a decent comfortable life and it indeed not have been a poverty- stricken one as she had spent her childhood in, but she chose material comfort over her respectability and lost it allb) Disgrace Sanskaar or living in poverty - again she chose the easy way out - how did she think that Sanskaar who was with her as a 'matter of honour' rather than a 'love of the heart' would seek to live with dishonour (marrying her, in his opinion was an honourable thing so the banishment from the kingdom was not considered dishonourable by him)c) Capitulating to Devender or living in poverty - well this was by far the easiest , she simply twisted her heart that it was all for the best and that she had to carry on - carry on what - her life was already over, Sanskaar was good as dead and even if he somehow got out, he would believe Lakshya to be the traitor, there was no way he knew she was alive and she could... - oh well done anything but give in to Devender.d) and the final choice - the final plotting by Devender and her mother - when he comes back seething in fury and injured - she chooses to believe her mother that she would be given a chance to escape with Sanskaar. How is she not able to see that Devender would never allow Sanskaar to leave alive if he did fall into their clutches and nor would he ever allow Kavita to be rescued. She should know by now of Devender's obsession to best Sanskaar and ruin / destroy anything that Sanskaar even remotely percieves as his.Kavita is one of life's eternal victims in a way, rather like Ragini but with a totally different core and set of motivations and resolve. I absolutely love the way you have reasoned the above out- all totally in tune with my sketch of her character 👏 Kavita's choices I can see why she made them- they were poor and terrible yes but I see that in a weak person. It is what makes her what she is- she chooses unwisely but pretends she never choose, the latter is the worse failing to me.She is so blinded by self-pity that she sees herself the victim and is finally convinced that if she cannot get Sanskaar alive she might have him dead rather have him living happily with someone else. But then she could never risk dying in all those instances when it would have actually served her, so how does she think she can die and be with Sanskaar in his death, if as she believes, would be his fate in Devender's hands? She knows she won't be able to die deep down, but she likes to pretend she is this true lover who will THIS TIME make the heroic choice but of course when it comes to it- does she really have the will or courage? One would assume not but in her head she isn't reasoning it out that way.All her life, she has made the wrong choice convincing herself that losing love, a chance at respectability, a life of honour, a possibility of dying with honour (if she had not given into Devender), a hope of being remembered with fondness (if she had not decided to act as she did, that is how she would have been remembered by both Sanskaar and Swara even after they come to know of her duplicity) was worth not having to live in poverty - never realising that each time she failed to make the choice for poverty actually left her poorer - she someone who deserves pity (which is the worst emotion one can arouse - pity which is the contemptuous stinging feeling one feels for someone to whom you cannot even be sympathetic, next only to ignoring their existence altogether).I couldn't agree more - she is rather pathetic and should inspire a sort of pity- not the compassionate kind we feel for blameless innocents but one for people who are doomed to a sad and lonely life as ALL their choices are motivated by something so deficient there was no happy end there to be ever.Somehow, a reading of the demented nature of Kavita and her irrational hatred for Swara and her anger at 'losing' Sanskaar brings this quote to mind "The best people possess a feeling for beauty, the courage to take risks, the discipline to tell the truth, the capacity for sacrifice. Ironically, their virtues make them vulnerable: they are often wounded, sometimes destroyed." - Ernest HemmingwaySo true of Swara and Sanskaar - each time someone vents their hate and ire, it either one or both of them who are wounded and almost destroyed. And yes, indeed the undercurrents - and very strong threatening ones - that promise to shake some to the core and sweep some away.Lovely Hemingway quote- so apt and yes, very fitting for SwaSan here! Only here they somehow not only survive each time, they emerge stronger, honed by those fires which would destroy those weaker or less pure and certainly those whose love was not so steadfast. On a side note, Lakshya in this Chapter comes out quite glowingly and a little deserving of sympathy - he realised Sanskaar was in love with Kavita and rejects all her attempts to pretend affections for him and further goes to state that he would also never reveal the same to his brother as that would hurt him. So Kavita's fears that in spite of his declarations, Lakshya could tell the truth about her to Sanskaar, causes her to plant the seeds of suspicion against Lakshya in Sanskaar's mind - a seed that grew to ensure Ragini's hatred flourished and almost ruined Swara. Surprisingly, from the tale so far, Lakshya is the true victim and yet he has never seen himself so.I had this same discussion with Shruti Lannister. In the beginning when there were some scathing comments on Lakshya- and to be expected as usually I show him in a less than flattering light, I was going rather easy on Lakshya. Lakshya is no saint- he was irresponsible and a brat but yes, he did nothing to deserve the misplaced hatred Sanskaar came to bear him thanks to Kavita's lies and then didn't deserve a wife like Ragini either . There was a Lakshya who was Sanskaar's beloved younger brother and he deserved that love and gave it back to his brother too 😊. But unfortunately in life sometimes some people get dealt with wrong hand - sad but trueSo Pawan is left behind, which means that Sanskaar and he were a little alarmed and guessed that Swara could be a target or is it that they want to confirm Kavita's alive and attempt a rescue or both. Anyway, Pawan being left behind, surprised many but rattled Ragini visibly, so much so that Annapurna almost warned her not to react (????? why Annapurna???) Hence , regarding that traitor at the palace - still reserving all guesses as made for the previous chapter😉Pawan was left behind as an insurance policy by Sanskaar as he trusts him as much as himself and yes, first he cannot risk Swara at all and then he needs to find some more intel on Kavita. There was a messenger dispatched and would come back etc so this was their compromise. I think 31 has cleared your doubts about the family traitor 😉. I will explain more fully in 32 too 😃.Ragini was rattled as she knew Pawan staying back could mean Sanskaar has doubts and she knew from the fringes what was coming and was worried. Annapurna noted that reaction and wondered given that SwaSan have maintained Ragini's guilt and Annapurna is of course rather sharp. 😊love,Nyna

Hey Shruti,🤗
How are you??Hi there Geetha 🤗I am ok, thank you- how are you doing? Thanks so much for your comments and please don't apologise- I am so late replying myself and really appreciate your time and efforts!Sorry didn't get time to comment earlier on Chap 28.😔.It was indeed an awesome chapter..👍🏼That letter knocked down my senses..I know what'll be reply of Sanskar before I read, but a little bit of pessimistic side arose there..😕But never mind that answer to the letter was perfect..👏Our Prince is insanely in love with Swara..How could he ever think of getting seperated from her even if it is for his first love Kavitha..That's not possible even in the wildest dreams re..😃I am so happy you liked 28! Yes, there is always that little uncertainty with DK no- as I like my little twists but you need not have feared. Kavita was only brought in to show how DK Sanskaar would NEVER for one moment agree to make any sort of sacrifice when it came to his Swara. I hated that crap in the show and wanted to rewrite it in my way. It makes me seriously glad that you guys like it 😃.Coming to chap 29 I know that Sanskar will take some necessary measures for Swara before leaving for the battle when Ragini is still around.Who can guard her better than Lord Pawan!!Very wise decision..😊Yes Sanskaar could not say but would trust no one other than Pawan 😃Oh! So this is all plotting of Devendra with Kaveri and Kavitha.. God! How can any man be so vile!!😡 If Kavitha had put some efforts to think rationally before helping Devendra, then her life would've been something different and far from the clutches of Vile Devendra. Can't blame her, right??🤔 She has been very dependent on her mom for her every decision. Kaveri can easily manipulate the girl in her hands as her puppet by showing the luxuries she get for helping Devendra. Uff, now Kavitha wants Swara to be as good as dead by handing over her to Devendra. Obsession can make people think like that. If she had some sense which she doesn't want to use now, how can she even expect that Sanskar will welcome her into his life again after Swara.. Kavitha wants only the luxuries which she gets after marrying Sanskar, but she cannot truly or selflessly love Sanskar like Swara. I think you will knock some sense into Kavitha before ending her character(which I know you definitely will😉).Kavita- yes spot on! 👏 She is a mixture of some of her circumstances but then mostly of her very poor choices that she made but she is a weak and intrinsically selfish and rather shallow character who after the event thinks she would have done things differently and wants to blame fate but not herself . Ah, very interesting how you think I will "knock some sense into her"! Let's see what happens with Kavita!Yaa I totally forgot about the line "Come back with your shield or on it"..That's my favourite line because being in defense services family I often listen to these kind of lines from my parents and I'm really proud of soldiers who do anything and everything possible to protect people from potential threats..👍🏼Oh wow- your family are in the armed forces? My hubby is ex Navy and I have 3 BILs (2 of husband's brothers here in England and my sister's husband in the USA too) who are police officers. I have always been fascinated by warriors and soldiers 😃. I am also obsessed with the Spartans and love their tales- Thermopylae is my all time fave battle in history! That's it for today and will meet you in next chappy..😊 Till then stay blessed and be happy..❤️ Hope your presentation went well..😊Thanks a lot again Geetha! Presentation went very well despite having not done enough for it- think I got lucky!Love,Geetha.

Res Chapter 30
Can't say how much I wanted to read this. Will unres both together.UnresShruti🤗Hey Sree 🤗The test of Swara's trust on Sanskar apt title. And the quote 👏.Thank you! It was indeed Swara's test - Sanskaar already passed his in the last chapter:)There was a part of me which was worried whether the message from Kavita recollecting their wonderful past till "fate" separated them. But I guess they - Sanskar and Pawan must have taken care of that.Yes that letter was not going to get anywhere. I thought too obvious to create that sort of MU 😊Coming to this chapter. Again Para is trying everything to keep Swara distracted and happy. So sweet of the duo. They take special care not to go to places like the fountain which will remind her more of her prince whom she longs to see.PaRa are sweethearts and Swara so needs real friends and there she has them indeed, just as Sanskaar does 😃The Saas-bahu conversation was different. I wouldn't have expected Sujatha to ask Swara to forget all and forgive Ragini. But I understand her need to keep her family together and that she just wants some sort of peace and stop worrying when the sister will raise their swords on one another breaking their family apart.Sujata like I've said before, is a simple woman. She asked that just so things didn't rock the boat as of course to her, Swara and Ragini will need to leave under one roof and she also has a strong connect to Lakshya. So yes it is only to ensure the sisters' conflicts don't split their family up once more"If she does anything, anything at all to harm my husband or any of you, I will not stay silent. I cannot watch my family suffer and if stays as family, there will be no cause for concern, but if she plots something nefarious again, especially against HIM, I am afraid you cannot hold me to this promise." Well said. If anyone tries to harm her husband then she will not remain silent and will make sure she gets what she deserves. Here the whole emphasis was on him and not her. She will bear anything but as long as it doesn't effect him.I wanted Swara to be the strong person she is here and especially be clear about her love- if anyone harms him she will not stand for it even if that is her own blood and same with her family- Swara is soft but not a pushover 😊. And yes of course, she maybe careless about herself but never him 😳So Ragini plants the letter in Janki's room. And you have answered the why factor in another conversation between Annapurna and Swara. Similarites between Annapurna and Janki is yet again shown. You don't fail to show how bold these Rajputana Queens are. Janki was worried for the future of her daughter and Annapurna was worried what Swara will chose - will she trust him or not. And I'm more than happy to see that she trust him with her whole heart, not that I doubted her to do other than that, but I was worried that people might try to manipulate the situation and make her feel unwanted. Loved that Swara trust her love and prince and there is not even a tiny bit of doubt in her mind regarding that. Ofcourse when you get a letter of such from your husband's ex claiming that she is willing to be his mistress if not wife is rather painful to any one. I'm glad that firstly Janki and then Annapurna helped her calm the storm that threatened to uproot the happiness she found.Ah, in some ways I am glad for the delay in responding as what would I have said here? Ragini was only a small part of the plot and a pawn almost as 31 will have shown you. The letter was a plant but not by Ragini . I still maintain that Janaki is a Rajput queen too- after all they have the guts to do stuff that would make most balk and whether they use it for good or bad is another matter. Annapurna set her own test for Swara- and of course Swara passed hers like Sanskaar did his:). I knew everyone imagined the manipulated situation scenario with Kavita's original letter coming to Swara etc but I didn't want us to go down well trodden usual paths. Swara took it all in, her initial reaction was what I thought someone in her position would give but her love and trust in Sanskaar is as strong as his is and it won though 😊"But he loves ME now Maa! He has told me and I have felt his love, right to the depths of my soul! I cannot disbelieve that love unless and until he tells me he feels it no more or feels it less than what he feels for her. So, Maa - I will trust in my Prince and will leave the choice up to him! If he chooses Kavita, so be it! I will never be the other woman, called wife or mistress - it is the same to me - I cannot be one of two women for a man Maa! But my heart tells me that Sanskaar loves me as I love him and my love will hold true." That is saying something don't you think so? Her respect is something she will not let anyone ruin. I loved this more. This I very deliberately did- I have consistently tried to show a Swara who values her self respect more than anything even if that means heartbreak. Now coming to the letter she wrote to Sanskar explaining all that happened. Why do I feel that there is more than what is said? Seriously, what was the need to write it down and leave it there (I do this, but I end up tearing it up after writing down what ever is bothering me). Will this now reach Sanskar or anyone else. I think here Annapurna didn't want Swara to take it along as she feels there is a risk of this letter falling in wrong hands, but then again there was nothing in it other than her utmost trust and belief in her prince, then why? Maybe its because she wants to use it later to ensure Sanskar that she trust him if anything goes wrong. This is my thinking as usual. You are very right about the letter and you may have guessed some from 31 but more to reveal in 32 so I won't say too much. I too write things out and don't send. Especially if I am upset or angry, I write what I want to say and then start again as therapeutically the first is always too emotional and sometimes unwise. A lesson I learnt during a very bad phase but usefully learnt I like to think:) There is a purpose to that letter and you will see what is is very soon. And where has Pawan gone? Had he been here, he would have got the information regarding the new development. But then again he knows Ragini was in Janki's chambers and he is smart enough to join the dots when time comes. Hopefully till Swara will be safe till Sanskar returns. I desperately want her to.. Then let hell break loose he will handle it I know. But not before that.I explained in 31 what detained Pawan . It had to be done as if he was there it would have not been that way. As for safe- certain things need to happen unfortunately before we can end our journey! Be braced as I know you are! Can't wait for Saturday for the next update. A part of me wants to fill the week with Saturdays and Wednesdays. But that is not possible, sadly..I was delayed even beyond Saturday this week due to being away. I too wish I didn't have any other need to work save write full time! Maybe soon someday?! 😃LoveSreeP.S. I so want to see what he will do to Ragini and trio for plotting against him and his precious princess. Ragini needs to be punished badly only then she will understand the seriousness of her crime. Unearned forgiveness has no value. She has to earn it and for that she should realise her mistake.I think after 31 you will be wanting more than Ragini punished. The difficulty is what you can even do to such people who are just pure poison! I am totally with you on unreal redemptions and I won't go that route in the way some may fear 😉
Hi Shruti
Hey Vini dear 🤗Awesome update.Loved the title " The Test"It was a test for Swara wasn't it ? Whether she would trust in Sanskar's love for her.And she did trust in him and his love for her. Thanks so much and I feel bad I took so long in responding in detail! Totally right- it was a test for Swara and as you say, she passed with flying colours as she had to. My soulmates could not fail the test of trust after all 😃Glad that her pouring out her feelings to Annapurna gave Swara the clarity to see that Sanskar loves her and no one else.Loved the way Swara told Annapurna that she trusts Sanskar .I wanted that whole process to unfold- from her initial shock and understandable upset especially reading the clever things written by Kavita. Swara is already worried about the past love Sanskaar had for Kavita so this would have been such a painful blow for her. But in going through it all, she realised the strength of her own love and how her heart unequivocally trusts her Prince 😳Wonder what Annapurna is upto with the letter she made Swara write.Looks like she is upto no good.Is Annapurna the one behind Kavitha being back.?the woman mentioned in chapter 28.You know when I read chapter 28 ,Annapurna along with Janaki were the suspects but then I thought what possible reason could be there for Annapurna to hate Swara since it seemed all about Swara then but now I'm not so sure .Maybe I'm wrong now too but Annapurna seems a strong suspect after reading this update.Ah interesting that you feel Annapurna is up to no good but I see that you changed your mind as you re-read 😉. Annapurna has a plan for that letter and you will see what it is! I like to think it is clever! So sorry about not being able to unres the previous post Shruti.Things were too hectic.I try not to res when I know I will not be able to unres quickly but sometimes I just can't help myself.Don't worry my dear- I really appreciate the time you take and the lovely comments whenever you post them and usually you are super quick to res and comment, which is so touches! Thank you!LoveVini
Thanks Shruti for understanding about the res and unres😊I just read the chapter again and I don't know why but I feel Annapurna doubts Janaki and is trying to help Swara by trying to ferret out Janaki's truth.I think I'm either too confused or trying to see some ulterior motive in every action.Guess have to wait till you unfold the mystery. But I just love doing all this guessing.
