My dearest DK Family 🤗

It has been a while and this post may shock some, but hope it won't be all unpleasant. Much to my delighted surprise there has been some interest in publishing this little tale of mine and therefore it needs to be taken down to facilitate that process.

I know some of you will be disappointed but I also hope that you will support me with my venture just as you so wholeheartedly did with your readership here. I would hope many of you will share my happiness and pray that this does get published as it would be a dream come true for me 😳.

We are on Thread 4 of Dark Knight and I promise that this will be the last one! Below is Chapter 26, rather a long piece in 3 parts. I am still not definitive as to how many more chapters before the tale ends but as you can see, things are building up to head towards the finishing line, although we are not quite there yet. It is safe to assume 30 Chapters but there will probably be more and I have reserved enough posts to not run out! I hope you will all enjoy 26 and see its role in the saga. I will begin working on 27 tomorrow itself. I have replies to make on 25 but I will post those on the previous thread.

Below is the much demanded Chapter 27. I beaten my own record for length and this is really two chapters but I didn't want to split it to leave you all with a cliffhanger again after 26. It is around 23 pages in word! I sincerely hope I have done this justice and will anxiously await feedback! It is now 2 am here so I must sleep soon as I have to work tomorrow 😲 so I will minor edit tomorrow. I hope you enjoy 27!

Here is Chapter 28- posted in the early hours of my Friday morning! It is a long chapter that I have worked on all week so hope you will like it. The story will soon have to move to its conclusion so we are approaching that stage but not there yet immediately. I will eagerly await your feedback so please be kind but also feel free to be honest like always!

Dearest Friends

I know I have made everyone wait a full week for this Chapter but I am genuinely very busy at work and as ever, cannot post a chapter without the due consideration its construction requires. This isn't an overly long chapter but is important as it contains some things we need to deal with before I continue unfolding the chapters leading to the finale. I have a big presentation on Monday and whilst I am already working on 30 so I am not long in updating, please do grant me some leeway on account of that commitment. The coming instalments are rather difficult as you will see from the below and I hope everyone will see the need of these to ensure the story is correctly and appropriately dealt with before coming to its close.

I will await your views as ever and will keep my fingers crossed! I am still conducting minor edits so please temporarily ignore minor errors.

I am early this week in delivering you instalment 30 of the DK saga! This is posted below. I have a busy weekend coming up but will aim to post 31 as soon as I can. As mentioned and many of you have surmised, the story is at a point that is heading towards its conclusion so I hope the below is satisfactory and interesting in that context! As ever, I shall anxiously await the "scores on the doors" so please do let me know what you think. As I near the end the support is even more invaluable! I am minor editing as it's been a long day at work and since in writing this so please bear with minor errors until I "tidy up".

I am here with Chapter 31. I hope it doesn't disappoint and helps us build up pace towards the final Chapters, which are of course the next few. I have a punishing work diary and some unavoidable personal issues to deal with too so sorry this wasn't posted as is more common on the Friday. I also need to spend some time on the next few chapters to give DK the ending I see for it and some of my attempts don't satisfy me so I am going to only post what I feel nearer the mark to where I think I need to be 😊.

I know I am very behind on replies to lovely comments but please do understand that every spare moment is spent on working frantically to deliver these Chapters as I know everyone really wants to read the updates super quick. I promise you the comments are almost staple diet and keep me going so please do not stint on your feedback as it is really needed, especially this close to the end when my nervousness levels are all time high.

You have all been my supply of encouragement and motivation- please stick with me 😃

Dearest DK family 🤗

It's time for the last Chapter in the saga of DK! I will keep this brief as first, there is an Epilogue to follow! It should be hopefully done this week, latest at the weekend. Secondly, I will be doing a separate post of thanks and mentions so won't deal with that here. However, I need to make a HUGELY special mention here to Nityah (NightDragon), Shruti (Lannister) and Yukthi (Fairy Dust) for the absolutely stunning creation of the banner I have posted below. These girls gave me such a wonderful surprise gift with this and I am not sure how to say how much I loved this! It is a special creation for DK and they have stayed up hours to find the perfect pictures and to me it is so lovely, I cannot stop staring at it endlessly! Nitz, Lanny and Yukhti- huge thanks and so much love for this ❤️

Guys- it's 2.30 am my time and I have to work tomorrow, so please bear with me for minor edits.

I hope this last Chapter (not counting Epilogue!) is one that you will all like and that I have managed to give this story an ending that does it justice and doesn't embarrass me as a writer. Please, please let me have your feedback. I will catch up on all replies after the Epilogue. Love to all!
