Yesternight when I stumbled over this new thread on the main forum I thought that you were back in good health. But it's quite sad that it's not so and you are yet in the process of recovering, I hope and pray that you get there soon. I suggest again that you take enough rest and care before you start on the next part, but all the same I doubt if you would do that. You are really stubborn sometimes. Or all the times when it comes to Swasan. Yet I would appeal to you again. Please take care of yourself.

Coming to this yet another twist in the tale, I should accept that besides all the guessing I could do, this was so totally unexpected to me. I was thoroughly appalled by the turn of events. I got quite emotional reading through the last part that I couldn't even bring tears to my eyes. An altogether different kind of pain that was.

Some where I have read that the opposite of love is not hate but its the sense of feeling nothing. A hallowness so deep that deprives you of the sense of time, space and self. I don't know what you wanted to project from sanskar's perspective but what I have felt when he readied himself for the upcoming battle instead of taking steps to break the unwanted and unscrupulous alliance was an utter helplessness with such emptiness. He knew he would get caught into a whirlwind that would this turn him to dust if he stood with in the walls of the palace for one more minute, and what would a poor soul as his could do when he doesn't see that she is actually in love with him and even professing it to her step mother somewhere . He would go into self preservation as anyone would do. And I don't hold him responsible for this little misunderstanding and neither swara. Because I know they will get through this. Especially when Sanskar comes to know that swara is against it. Nothing would stop him from helping her out of it.

But really, I'm much intrigued by the role janaki is yet to play. I see her disturbed and pained. There are two shades in her unlike sharmishta. I think janaki relates more to dadi in the original saga. So I wouldn't be much surprised if she chooses to manipulate sharmishta and swara. But I also hope not.

Sharmishta is a wife by love. She loves and cares for people here. She is less influenced by the politics of the state . And janaki has a responsibility on both the fronts. So she plays things wisely even if not manipulatively. And what also caught my attention is that sharmishta as an all in all powerful character hasn't yet been unveiled totally here. I guess that is yet to happen if janaki is to choose to go ahead with this alliance. I don't fear anything drastic to happen between swara and Sanskar as I know that no matter what the nature by some colossal accident will always make sure that they are brought together. All I'm so interested in how the other characters play into this accident.

Oh and did you mention that pawan is going to be hit? By Sanskar? May be once. But I think that would be for stationing himself separately rather than making advances towards his sister. I think Sanskar would be really happy to have him as family and would vouch fir uttara's happiness than condemn him by standards of birth. I would love to read a whole part on that alliance. I would happily ship 'Para'. But they have to do one thing for me in return. Their duty towards their friends. And I believe that they wouldn't let me down their.

Swara is much too selfless here isn't she, though she denied the alliance and proclaimed her love to janaki. She has somehow gone into self denial and pity and wants live alone for her whole life. She so needs him to come up alive again. Only he can touch her heart and sooth her back to sanity. She is in such a turmoil. I just hope Sanskar would somehow get a clue as to the depth of her feelings. I just couldn't make myself up to watch her suffering like that.

An over all emotional chapter shruthi. I didn't know what to say initially. So I just sat back and imagined all the good things they had done in their lone times. I wish that this turmoil would come to an end as quickly as it can.

But all in all, don't stress yourself over this. I promise that I won't burden you for the next one anytime soon. Take a week off if you can. From writing, though it's a stress buster, I'm sure you can find something more relaxing.
